Not true. I successfully cast curse like 1/100 in any gear. I would suggest the monk of zamorak behind the staircase in varrok palace. When curse becomes successful, it takes him a few seconds to get rid of it. i know thats a lie because if its an ANY gear, that would include mystic, and i succesfully hit curse 90+% of the time in mystic gear, but the less mage atk bonus you have, the less chance you have of hitting it, or else the bonuses would be useless.
  3. That is a great thing to do, or you could kill metal drags and hope for D legs, skirt or med and they drop lvl 3 clues. This is great fun and I love to do it \ i would but im only lvl 73, so i'd probably end up getting killed. anti dragonfire shields w/ anti d fire potions, stand a bit away from the dragon and they'll use range firebreath, but hit nothing but zeros, no matter what your combat, thanks to the potions/shield. Then just mage them wearing something like mystic. Beware, you will fail a LOT. It usually takes around 7k worth of runes with bolt spells + chaos guantlets. but i'd still get the xp, which is what im after

im on a small world right now (576 people) and it took about 3 minutes

  6. how long does it take for them to respawn?
  7. go to the high alch calc on the tip.it main page, and then check for anything over 350 ea., that way you should lose any money buyin the nats

i know all about fail curse, but if i had full melee armor on, and casted curse on the blue dragon down in heroes guild, since he has dragonhide armor on (metaphorically speaking) would that be more of a reason for the curse to fail?
  10. ok, i'll see how many bolts i need
  11. my mage lvl is currently 53 (check sig for any update in the lvl), i was wondering, what would be the fastest, yet cheapest way to lvl it up to 70? I need like 20k curses to get it to 70 (would just fail curse), but that would take a while to cast 20k curses, what other ways are there that are fast? (i dont have a lot of things to high alch so that probably wouldn't be the best option)
  12. no, theres cash in each of the treasure chests, along with the ability to do a new emote (a different one in each chest)
  13. you dont have to be any lvl, my lvl 3 friend got there because i got the monsters attention and he got through the doors, so you dont need to be a certain lvl, but just keep going through, then when you get to the treasure chests, check them and then go down the ladder, on the 4th lvl, the end treasure is a cradle, check it for the boots
  14. are you talking about the stronghold of security?
  15. if you have a quest cape and a new quest comes out, you need to do that quest to wear the cape, a quest cape shows you've done all the quests, if theres a quest you havent done, would it make sense that you could still wear it?
  16. last time i did it, i believe it took me like 1 hour and 20 mins to pick 1k, so im guessin about a little over 8 hours
  17. i know you can get one at duel arena, where the bank chest is, theres a chest there that you can buy a rotten tomato
  18. its lumbridge, and it will be destroyed after 1 use
  19. You can get to 46 if you don't pick up your arrows, but almost 57 if you do pick them up. I got to 80 (with bronze arrows, lol) by using the 2 lessers on the top of crandor island. There are safe spots in the North and South-East of their walk area. I always cast a Curse on them first to "pull' them over next to my safe spot. Then, and only then, I began to range them on rapid. After they die, all of your recoverable arrows are in the loot pile just outside your safe spot. I never bothered to take any healing food since I never got hit. I usually brought runes to hi-alch decent drops (rune meds and mith shields) and then used the home teleport to bank every few days. Hope this helps cool, i'll have to try that too
  20. ok, cool, thanks
  21. wheres the best spot to kill ogres with a safespot?
  22. my range is currently 40, i use a yew short with over 2900 mith arrows and wear green d'hide armor, whats the best way to raise it to 50? or 60?

you can go to the pub in canifis and cast them on the men and women there, and then kill their werewolf form
  24. if you have your mage bonus in the negatives (as high as you can), and you cast curse, it should fail most of the time, even when it fails, you will get the xp for it, so you can cast curse a lot on one person and get the xp for every failed curse
  25. you could try fail cursing too (put on your worst mage armor so its in the negatives, then trap a man or somethin behind an obstacle and use curse, it should fail most of the time, but you will still get the xp)
