  1. Based on the combat calculator and what is posted in the quest guides the lowest possible is a level 55. This is assuming that somehow you manage to maintain a 3 attack and 30 hitpoint. I don't know how accurate the guides are for requirements or if some of these are based on the writers experience but here is the breakdown. Range 60 (Morning end 1) Magic 66 (Swan song) Strengh 50 (Legends Quest) Defence 40 (Lunar diplomacy) Prayer 47 (Rum deal) I think its actually impossible to get below a 60 just from all the experience you have to get plus were not counting the slayer requirement Level 42 (rum deal) so you're going to take on extra combat exp. For those that got the quest cape, good job, especially those at the lower combat level.
  2. I'm going to add my two cents since this tread came up in my search for farming (IDK?) Rock mining, this one is dear to my heart, it's my highest skill. Share the rocks, but don't claim the rocks. Like someone said earlier, don't try to claim the five western rocks at coal trucks if your only just starting with mining. If I'm in a good mood I'll just ignore you. If I'm in not so good of a mood, I'll follow you around. And sitting for 148 ores is a very long time. The unwritten rule for mining is don't irritate the high level miners. They were once were you were, so the good ones will let you train as long as you don't get in the way. And just because he is a level 27 combat doesn't mean he isn't a level 75 miner so don't get the two confused. They can one hit coal, do you think you stand a chance if he wants to be mean. Oh and don't threaten a miner with owning them in the wild. If you tell me your going to own me and I came for ore, what insentive do I have to even leave the rock. I seem to be owning you quite nicely in the skill that I have put months into. Just so that everyone knows, unwriten rules are the informal rules that govern the game. They are not the norms or the accepted practices or even what we wish people wouldn't do (arrow stealing, PK RC). They are rules that can not be broken without paying the price. Level 3 players don't go attack green dragons without expecting a quick trip to lumbridge. They are different from written rules (like no spaming, scaming, macroing, or filter bypassing) where someone has to actually step in and catch you and punish you. Most people know them but it is so obvious that they don't need to be written down in any kind of rule book, hence why they are called unwritten. Just because someone types them out on a forum doesn't change there status one bit. BTW there is a written rule that I want to bring up. Don't scam. Scamming by Jagex is misleading players by providing false or inaccruate informaton for your own personal game. You want to lure, guess what, rule 2 violation. Yea, a player shouldn't be stupid enough to go into the wild with anything they are not prepair to lose but if your saying your going to sell trimed armor in the wild and then kill the person you can't convince me that you didn't break rule 2.
  3. Reading Jagex rules it is item scamming. From there site, i'm paraprasing. Misleading players by providing false or inaccurate information, for your own personal gain is scamming. Is there anyone that really thinks that someone that practices luring has the intent of actually selling the item that they are advertising? The guy broke the rule when he said he had armor for sale (giving false information for own personal gain). Now if someone else attacked him then it could be said that no rule was violated as the person that was going to make the sale didn't actually attack so you really can't prove that his intent was bad. Personally, there should be a big WT? if someone want to trade in the wild. There is no reason why an honest person wanting to trade an item would not be willing to do it in the safe area of edgeville. While myself and others may be smart enough not to fall to these stupid tricks not everyone has been exposed to the real life facts of life. Hopfully the original poster has learned from his mistake (just remember, trick me once same on you, trick me twice shame on me).
  4. I was using the hill giant that was on the south side of the lava lakes in 17 wild. Get his attention, and then go into the ruin, he can't come in and you can just shoot him thru the door. After hes dead there is enough time to pick up arrows and items, and bury his bones before he comes back. Of course you have to worry about being PKed but if you don't run around while shooting, if someone tries to PK you and you don't want to dance just run south. It's low enough that no one will wipe you out in one or two hits and you should have enough energy to make it into low enough wild that they won't be able to attack. Most of the people coming thru that area though aren't going to bother you as they are after the dragons and you'll just be more trouble than is worth. I went from about 33 to 37 before some RPKer came along. It's probably a little slower than some spots but considering that they drop big bones it helped with my low prayer also. Keep your energy and hit points high and it's a good quite spot.
