  1. is the new modem the same as the old one? if its different it may be having compatibility issues, or just not be high quality. another thought is to reset the modem, just unplug it and plug it back in.
  2. your going to have to give more information than that, what kind of plugs are you trying to connect. if its rca type plug tell us the colors.
  3. an alternative would be to download media monkey. it will set the tags on the song depending on what folder it is in, then you can use any program to play just one artist or whatever
  4. if the motherboard and processors are too old, then you cant even overclock them, it is only a feature on recent boards. soldering pennies would not work at all, the surface of a heatsink is smoothed on a molecular level by a machine so the heat transfer works well. in addition to this, pennies are not solid copper, the government made them partially somthing else because people where melting them down and selling them for more. also, you can buy a power cable splitter for like 2$ at a computer store.
  5. without any information on your graphics card its hard to tell. i would go to the manufacurers site and download the newest drivers. if that dosent work, you will probably need a new card. newegg.com has good cheap cards.
