  1. The nearest bank is the Falador eastern bank. It's not that far from the guild.
  2. Depending on your attack level and whether you've done lost city, I would suggest you at least use a dragon longsword. Bring full rune at least as well and bring food (perferably lobsters and higher). As twr_phr33k stated previously, you should only use your maul for it's special. Once you use the special bar's energy up, then you should switch to your other weapon and kiteshield. Good luck!
  3. I would rule out the warrior helm, as I believe it to not perform as well as the other two. If you want defense, then go with the torag helmet. However if you like strength, then you should choose the berserker helm. I use the berserker instead of the torag, but I like the strength bonus. You may like defense.
  4. No - you don't need to complete the skill requirements for the quest to start it. All you need to do is finish the quests. I do suggest that you get the levels, and finish the quest while you've already started it. Once you take a long ( not brief ) break from a long quest, you can get lost sometimes.
  5. I believe so, Harrington.
  6. Jagex has said that it's going to be of use in a future update. So, until they release such an update, it's useless. I do suggest that you hang onto it though!
  7. I suggest you get the prayer level, as it will make it a whole lot easier for you. Since you're a mage pure, then you will need it sooner or later. As Lunar_Drifter stated, I believe you should bring a short amount of fire blast shots. Bring some food such as sharks just in case, and perhaps a prayer potion. Also bring some some magic increasing robes or d'hide.

I suggest that you either buy a bulky amount of cowhides, or kill cows for their hides. Once you have a pretty good amount, you can tan them and then craft them into leather wear. You will need 1gp to tan cowhides into leather, and 3gp to tan them into hardleather. You will also need a needle and some thread in order to craft the hides. This seems to be a good amount of experience, and should get you to the level you want in a descent amount of time.
  9. You can get them by obtaining clay, then using a bucket of water on the clay to make the clay into soft clay. Once you have that, you must obtain the runes that are required for the certain spell and enchant it using your player-owned houses' lectern. The minimum level for enchanting the soft clay, is level 40 construction. Once you have that certain level, you can enchant them with certain spells by using your lectern. When creating your lectern, you need at least 1 oak plank for the Oak Lectern. As you progress in construction, you can build better lecterns that require different materials.
