"Perfect" task list is highly debatable, depends what do you mostly want to focus on. Effigies, charms, pure slayer xp or something intermediate? Zarfot's task list was supposed to be constructed with maximum effigies on mind and he skipped tasks that weren't particularly good effigies per unit of time. If you were to go for absolute maximum slayer xp/h then Sumona might be worth exploring, several tasks in her dungeon (crawlers, banshees, basilisks) are very fast, between 60-90k/h. However, she doesn't assign dark beasts or ice wyrms which would no doubt kill your effigy ratio. I don't specifically go for any of the above, as I don't purposely skip low-effigy tasks if I want to do them for other reasons (fire giants for afk task in CT, terrorbirds from shilo because they're a nice fast cannon task albeit non-effigy droppers) I don't do fiends or wyverns which are good for summoning either because I just can't be bothered with them, although I'm thinking I will start doing fiends if the charm attractor is coming out any time before I am done with slayer. The reason I use Lapalok is because the only benefit I can personally see from Kuradal is slightly faster abyssals (as I wouldn't do anything else in her dungeon, cannon what's cannonable elsewhere) which does not outweigh four or five Kuradal unique tasks that would go on my skip list. And something else to think about, each skipped task costs around 80k gp in runes that you could have bought with the points instead, if you want to look at it that way. I don't skip many tasks myself so I actually make a quite nice profit from slayer points.

Well if they dont have anything else to spend their money on then why wouldnt they?Imo it's really weird how someone would choose a tedious concentrationbursting clickingmethod over a relaxed one lol.Efficient method saves time. Also, Some people like clicking alot, Keeps their interest in the game.Meh. Okayokay, not my thing though. But I think alot of people actually don't want to see meters of calculations. It's almost a clear fact that they're not enjoyable to read. Nothing wrong with people being interested in figuring out how long something would take, what would be the most efficient methods etc, whether these methods will ever be implemented by anyone for getting 200m's is another thing. (Doubtful) I personally just skip every post with calculations

Possibly until Smoking kills* Kuradal only popularised slayer for the players who previously had no idea how to go about it, the fastest methods still have nothing to do with Kuradal (I personally don't even use her) But just because you're the only person with 200m summon doesn't mean it's the hardest skill lol. It's faster and more bearable to train than several other skills if you go all out on it, it's just that nobody does that because it would be dumb to get it before other combats. I'd argue that the most expensive skill is not necessarily the best thing to do, if it's going to be almost twice as expensive as usual. The smart thing to do was dump all supplies as soon as it got announced (some things doubled in price for a short while), we'll see if they level out at a reasonable price in the remaining few weeks though for them to be worth buying for xp.

Bonecrush dragon tasks (everyone actually does it, btw) and you can get around 13m prayer xp from 200m slayer.

Yeah, they're funny anyway though. Like nobody would believe me if I told them my RSN irl, and that doesn't only happen to someone like me, 2000+ total would be enough to generate 'so who did you buy this account from?' etc questions.

60k xp/h lmfao? Seems like legitimately clueless, considering 60k/h over 24 hours every day for 365 days of the year would only add up to 525m xp a year and every active top player constantly manages more than that quite easily. Even after doing all the slow skills your average will be much higher than 60k, because anyone with such goals will actually do them and not just screw around bragging about their pking skills and flaming people at edgeville bank. Ignorance sometimes reaches hilarious proportions, as showed by this guy. Easy to make assumptions about something that you quite blatantly have no clue about, isn't it? :wall:

Dagannoth bones were always 600k/h, and they don't have a 1k buy limit like frosts. Same for ourg and whatever else there is.

I'm curious as to when he'll decide to get it, too, but he's made it pretty clear (or at least I've inferred) that he's not really interested in ranks and such. Seems like he just plays and happens to be pretty good. I don't really enjoy training it over a long period of time at least, it seems more like something to do with friends every now and then when they're up for it. I'd just wait for an incentive to do it (such as a solo update, once the teaming has died down) before properly training it seeing as I don't even want to be on top of the highscores currently, I'd already had a good few years of people following me anywhere I go. ;)

Not sure about GE slots, Mat K said he suspects it doesn't include them. High level players are also likely to have high priced merch items or skill supplies rather than a stack of 100k dragon med helms solely to hold cash (maybe someone will now to make it on top of the list), unless they've gone inactive or already have all buyable skills done. A few people with 5b+ aren't even that high on the list because they had most of their wealth in merch items at the time.

Ox logged out and went inactive with max cash both in his bank and his inventory which explains it. Basically most items you own that aren't in cash will be counted as like 50x less valuable than in the GE and since max cash is capped anyway, the gp list is highly pointless as there are many players whose real bank worth surpasses the limit.

Couldn't agree more. Myself, I am physically very active, and so is Zarfot. Jdelacroix has a job that enables him to play whilst working. Just some examples.

xpx is starting to sound like one of the level 80s who flame all high levels for being fat nerds. And what does 'being successful in life' however you may see it have to do with this? Not everyone needs to, or wants to have a full time job at a specific point in their lives, nor is it the only criteria for being successful. And while you keep coming with your efficiency stories I will be happy to spend time further improving my physical condition, filling the gaps in my knowledge and having a non-obsessive mindset towards video game efficiency, so keep it up. Just some simple maths: Amount of hours in a day: 24 Amount of hours spent sleeping on average: 8 Amount of hours spent awake: 24-8=16 Assumed amount of hours played: 10 (somewhat accurate in my case) Amount of hours left for other activities: 16-10=6 Additionally, being able to do other things during the hours spent playing if you don't go full concentration.

This. The point i was trying to make, and still am, is that because these top players effectively spend their lives playing the game, normal efficiency doesn't apply to them. Their goals are so wast and playing time they endure makes up most if not a majority of their daily activities that it's inevitable that they are not just playing the game to have fun but are grinding themselves trough skills while doing other things that they enjoy more. They are no-lifers, and because of this, typical efficiency as stated so many times doesn't apply to them. In their own right they are all efficient in squeezing as many hours of a day to play the game and doing methods that result in slight xp loss. Efficiency for a person who has a healthy and balanced lifestyle, playing around 2 hours a day and someone who spends up to 18 hours a day playing the game are two very different things, and as such, we can't apply the normal efficiency to them(or have to apply a high attention/clicking frequency modifier to it). Personally I still like to come home after my daily activities and relax instead of calculating how to gain experience 10% faster. I guess that's the part you will never get. I know I can't speak for all of the 'top players' but you would probably be rather surprised to find out about how much I value a healthy lifestyle if that's something you need to keep emphasizing in every post. As for the jagex-approved autoing (@Jebrim), I agree but that's just what happens with updates such as the 5 minute logout, the game has slowly but surely been degrading from what it once was and personally that just doesn't make me very interested in training something like agility though, which will most likely be even easier/faster in a year from now. I know the challenge aspect and maintaining perfect speed around a course is fun, just not something I'm personally interested in at this point.

Actually it always seemed to me as though the people who tell me to be efficient think that it must be my life goal to accumulate as much xp as possible, and that I have no idea how to manage my account. *shrug* do they? Games aren't about judging others, I was more trying to point out how this efficiency-discussion on this particular thread seems to be more off-topic than anything, and you certainly don't need to take offense, just like it doesn't bother me at all if people see Zarfot as the best player because he is super hyper mega pro efficient.

200M in all Skills
This thread is also about 200m in all skills, so until someone who plays 2 hours a day manages to join the race I don't know how is that relevant. What I was saying in the first place was that 'efficiency' is over-emphasized when it comes to this, when the actual deal is more about consistency instead of doing speedy bursts and finding it's too much pressure to keep up in the long run. I'd still do the same no matter how long I played for each day though, yes that may be just me but people tend to reach a limit after repeating a certain action too many times and that also goes for grinding this game, and I'm online more for the other things I can do at my computer, particularly talking to the people here and using internet resources to educate myself.

Logging out because you refuse to take it easy and do a low-concentration skill when you're not able to pay full attention to RS is hardly efficient, just take a look at what happened to Zarfot.. He has "quit" twice now, perhaps because he wasn't playing the game for enjoyment? Just find it funny how majority of the pro-'efficiency' guys have no stats themselves...

YOU HAVE SOMETHING AGAINST AGILITY???? h3h3 I might eventually use my effigies on agility cause I'm not going to be getting 200m rc from them and would rather have exp base for all skills

200M in all Skills
I'll dare to disagree, maybe some people can do it but I won't believe for a second that someone can routinely sleep 5 hours a night for years without experiencing major adverse effects. Eventually you will have to catch up on the sleep and considering 200m everything takes several years, it's not something you can plan to do on max power without considering burning out. Even S U O M I told me that he's currently sleeping as long as he wants to, and just stretching his awake time instead of a 24h daily cycle. That is exactly what would happen to humans if they were not aware of the time anyway; they would end up sleeping a couple hours later every "day". It probably has occurred to a lot of people that it would be nice to wake up a few hours later every day if they had the chance. For whomever wanted to know what I was doing these days, I've been working on 30m/40m xp bases and probably getting 40m fishing now, seeing as it would save me actually having to train agility and then finish off 30m agil / mining, which is all I still need for 30m base apart from dungeon. I would probably go and get every drop from all boss monsters if I still were to play, to me the "worth" in playing lies in the people I've met here and filling spare time, I don't actually plan to max every skill but not seeing myself leaving completely either, so I'd do something fun like that from time to time.

Definitely do penguins for rc, it's ~40k xp for usually 15-25 mins which is good enough. I still do tears as well because it only takes a couple minutes, even though my lowest skill is dungeoneering atm.

When you go for a massive goal which takes a year, it's likely that you'll have to consider not doing it the most click-intensive way possible at some point. Sure, I don't mind dropping for a little while but in the long term it would become really tedious when there is also a bank available, I know I'd personally burn out quickly and would imagine that is why Suomi banked his bars instead of dropping as well.
