  1. A tip: When not in use (between inventories), remove gloves. I made my gloves last through 100k smithing xp. I have 2 smithing, 1 cooking, 3 ranged, and 2 agility left to use. I am f2p however so I have to wait a couple of weeks to use them. I will probably get another sc helm, sell my saradomin rune armour and chin and get to 88-90 range.

Time is not important. If you don't believe that, wear some of your gloves for a few hours and you'll notice that they don't dissapear.

I PK'ed Ranging and Melee Brawling gloves yesterday, so I did a bit of research.

For Range - Use Chinchompas at Ape Atoll dungeon along with SC armour. Believe me, despite the 1.5x increase rather than 4x, you're end experience will be way higher.

Melee - Axe Hut sounds best. Not sure if Spirit Realm counts as Wilderness though.

    Thanks..

Range is really really wrong. At chins you'll only get about 60k xp out of them, by killing some in wildy you can get about 200k xp from them. Oh and the SC armour/tools stack with the gloves, so you get 8x xp in wildy and x3 in a pvp world. Spirit realm isn't in wildy.

You can correct me if I'm wrong, but here's what my calculations stand -

(Brawling gloves last on 1 hour of time, not experience)

    Normal xp/hr at Ape Atoll - 250k xp/hr (90+ Range)

    Along with Brawling gloves = 1.5 x 250k xp/hr

    = 375k xp/hr

    Along with SC armour = 375k x 2

    = 750k xp/hr

    Normal xp/hr at ranging green dragons/black knights/ice warriors/ice giants in wild - 50k xp/hr

    Along with Brawling gloves = 50 x 4

    = 200k xp/hr

    Along with SC armour = 200k x 2

    = 400k xp/hr

    Thanks..

Try to look at the bonus xp:

    Chinning: 750k - 250k = 500k bonus xp, and it'll cost you around 900k.

(however, your numbers are off, if I'd get those gloves, I'd do red chins, so that's easily over 300k xp an hour, so it should be 900k actually, which makes 550k bonus xp).

    Ranging ice giants or whatever:

    350k bonus xp, for FREE.

(again, numbers are off, at 90 ranged at those fire giants in wildy, you can probably get 60k an hour, so that'd make 480k xp, which makes 420k bonus xp.

As a last thing i'd like to add that getting those SC stuff is not worth it for ranged. (they will wear off within 5 minutes, if not less.

    New numbers (lol?):

Chins: 450k xp an hour, 150k bonus xp

Fire giants in wildy: 240k xp an hour, 180k bonus xp.

I see your point there, and I guess we have a difference of opinion on the way we regard Brawling gloves.

You see them as free and bonus experience. (nothing wrong with that)

I see them as a tool to quicken my xp rates to maximum, since I get limited time. That is, I'll prefer the 900k xp/hr even if I'm spending lots due to the time factor.

Anyways, I've read people saying that chinning/bursting zombies in the Graveyard of Shadows is the best method, but seeing how close it is to clan wars and bounty hunter, I think its more than risky.

    Thanks..

Well, time is not important. A glove has a number of uses, and for every monster that's damaged by the chin, you lose 1 use. Hitting a bunch of skeletons or other monsters simultaneously will ofcourse still be faster xp, but since the max hit of chins isn't really high you will get less xp out of your gloves.

  4. thanks for the invite!

Didn't really have a party or anything, just some very good friends gratzing me. Couldn't be bothered waiting for 20 other people or so to come. I only invite people to a 99 that actually had some effort in it.

    ROFL WTF?

92>99 in 1 day? You good no-life. Where did you burn?

Fm brawlers give x4 xp, and can burn 1200 logs, he used magic logs at wildy, getting about 1,2k xp per log. He told me that tbh

    10/10 <3

So did you run from edge or something....?

Yeah, I fmed in edge wildy. Quite alot of sad idiots trying to kill me there though.

  5. 3/10

It's zamorak, the easiest of all people, and it's only a 3.9m split.

Congratulations, but come back when it's actually a decent amount of cash earned.

Actually bando is far easier. And its first trip so he was obviously excited about it.

I will give 7/10 since it wasn't much of a split but it was your first time there.

Actually bandos is harder for lower levels I think. I actually used to be able to solo K'ril 2-3 times per trip over a year ago using a whip. Don't think I could've done that at bandos back then.

    On topic: gratz.

  6. If I fight and eat at 50hp, I really do expect my opponent to do the same and not eat to 99 every time I hit a 20 or so... A fight is supposed to be fun, so I try to keep it as fair as possible for both of us.

Yes, if you eat up to full hp every time, you probably wont die. You might even manage to kill someone if they decide to still eat at 50hp even though you don't. In my opinion you are a very sad person if you still eat to full hp then. I'm not asking you to let yourself get killed, I'm asking to keep it fun for both of the people that are fighting. It's not all about you and the armour you are wearing. The other person deserves some respect as well.

As for pjing, it's possible, so I'm not going to discuss it here.(I know it's wrong, but I pj as well from time to time so yea ...)

  7. I always bless a grave.

One time some guy decided to crash me at dks and to get me killed. He got all 3 kings on him and then he died himself. I still blessed his grave. Ofcourse he tried to get me killed again when he came back, but that's what idiots are like I guess...

I've also blessed grave of people soloing in GWD even if I risk my own life because of that. I would want someone to bless my grave as well if I died soloing.
