Both of those are breaking that silly rule, but its no different from somebody starting their first account and their high level friend giving them 200k starting cash. I doubt they can track it easily, sure it might be wierd if a level 5 has 200k gold, but I remember being level 20 and some guy who was quiting gave me rune plate and legs. Before that, I didn't have 10k, sold the armor and had 10 times that. Charity is not forbidden :).

You could also just register 20 accounts in 1 hour, then put those accounts into the program. It would take a loooonnggg time to ban 20 accounts.

If thats all you have to spend, 100% flax is the best money maker, then 50% maple. Keep it at 100% popularity, take it out everyday, sell the flax (and maple if you want), and then reinvest that into the coffer. You want to get up to 750k as fast as possible, and always have at least 750k in the coffer. I recommend selling both the maples and flax, and reinvesting that money into the coffer until you get up until 750k, and once u get there, start keeping the maples for yourself.

So I got a clue to go blow a raspberry in the fishing guild. But I'm only 59 fishing. What is the minimum fishing I can have with some drink or item that will get me into the fishing guild? I'm willing to spend around 70-80k because I think this is the very end of the clue (and its level 3!).

You could also get into the blackness AND walk around. I can't remember where, I think it was in Varrock castle, but you could climb up one of the ladders and you would end up in blackness. You could walk around, see other people, it was rather amusing (but you couldn't do anything useful). Then I remember the global message "Anybody caught walking around in the blackness will be banned!" Everybody tped out FAST lol.

What is considered "starting it"? If I take all the money out and leave it for a few days, does it start the second I put money in? Or by starting do you mean when I finished the quest?

No idea. Why don't you test it out for us? :P I'm gonna find out if your workers work when you're banned! I put 1 million in the coffers at 100% and got 7 day banned the following morning. :wall:

I hate you all! I raised my thieving to 70+ back in the RSC days, when all I had was Paladins, blood runes and guards. Back when blood runes were like 1k per....beautiful days. But yeah, Gem Stall is a joke for getting gems, don't bother. You'd be better off mining them, the respawn is so slow.

Yeah it still does. I use one with no charges but I can tell that I hit much harder and more often with it.

This is waaaaay off topic, but the expansion's not supposed to be that great. I mean, sure, you get an extra 10 combat lvls, but other than that... And frankly, if you can afford to play WoW, I just have 1 quick question: WHY THE HECK DO YOU STILL PLAY RUNESCAPE??? Runescape has really nice tradeskills, far better than any other game I've played. The economy is also very nice due to a number of ways the game is setup (losing items on death, not having items BOE or BOP), so the economy is always flowing and money is not hard to make. WoW's tradeskills are lame. They make me sad. :cry: Plus I have a white phat from RSC back when they costed around 300k and halloween masks/santa hats costed 20k. Ahhh the good ol days, how foolish of me not to buy like 100 of those. People used to offer me like 5 of them in exchange for coal certs, and I was like "Pfft, I want money not worthless hats." :wall: :wall: :wall:

Yeah I'm pissed off too. WoW is coming out with their expansion in january, and I saw their new instance setup, its nice. I might just go back to that, at least there I don't get hassled and banned for no reason.

Omg, do these guys even read my appeal?? This is what I appealed with (yeah its crappy I accidently hit send too soon): Their response: So if I was in control of my account, then why am I banned? I did not say anything about somebody else being in control, I said I was doing quests. I don't think they even read my appeal.

Its just a normal offense, they apparently caught me for macroing on Dec 10. Whats odd is I was only logged in for 3 hours on Dec 10, and all of that was doing the Fairy Ring quest. This wouldn't be the second time Jagex has messed up though, last time they tried to give me black marks for swearing, and they sent me the screenshots of it, and it turned out that my name simply was in the screenshot of somebody else swearing, but I was just saying hi. It was a rather amusing reply e-mail, pointing that one out.

I'm sure it is very possible to do, but likely? It would take longer to program the macro than it would be to just do the quest, and since you're only doing it once, why bother?

Well I think issues with banning paying members should be of the highest importance. I'm sure they recieve millions of queries a day about other stuff, but if they found the time to ban me, they should find the time to respond. You can't shoot first and answer questions later. "Why did you shoot me officer?" "Umm....I don't know I'll get back to you in a month." :lol:

Hmm, well since it is in their error, they should refund it. I shouldn't have to pay for their mistakes. 2 weeks though? At least my ban is only for 7 days :wall:

I'm pretty sure I was banned by mistake, as I was banned for macroing, even though I was doing quests (how you macro while doing quests is beyond me.) Anyways, I appealed and was wondering how long it takes for them to respond? And do they refund the days the banned you if it was their mistake?

And you are clearly not reading my post hard enough. I did not say "How do I do this?". Thats very obvious in the guide. How to get there is not. What quests I need to do is not obvious. I have to do "some dwarf quests"? That narrows it down to like....3? FYI I'm, 58 almost 59 smithing and the 1.5k gold is saved by not having to use an extra coal. Coal being 180 per and saving about 25 coal thats well over the 1.5k lost by using it.

I gave up because I couldn't even find this city. Somewhere in the mountains pass some trolls? East of the city, in which of the 3 entrances I see on the map? What quests do I need to complete to be able to get there?

Before the last update everything worked fine. Now the werewolf guarding the course says I need to be a werewolf to get in. I'm getting more and more sick of runescape having me do 99% of the crap I don't want to do so I can do the 1% I do want to do. Anyways, anybody know how I can get in now?
