  1. alrighty, I've finally uploaded some screenshots! If you haven't already, browse through the guide and take a peek at em. Enjoy!
  2. Yeah, there are MANY spot to hunt the Dragons, most of which are in the deeper parts of the wilderness. Here is a Tip.it link to a map of the wilderness monsters. http://www.tip.it/runescape/wild_map.htm Thank you to Eeeeediot for mapping this, contributed by BigH140, and GreatSilverwyrm for keeping it up to date! All of the concentrated spots where you can find the dragons that this map shows, are in: Level 11 wilderness, to the FAR west. ABOUT level 24-26 wilderness, on the FAR eats near the Lava Lakes. About level 25 wilderness, northwest of the Graveyard of shadows. About level 40 wilderness, outside of the southeast corner of the Lava Maze. That is about all of the spots I saw on this map. If I am missing any, feel free to tell me! Either in a private message here, or a post on THIS forum. PS: Im adding an updates section to the very first post. Check it regularly for updates to this guide.[/i]
  3. Oh noes! Guess what? *GASPSHOCKAWE* I have ranged in melee armor before!! And hit perfectly!! And maged too! And hit perfectly!! Besides. Melee has to pretty much HYBRID to wear d hide.
  4. Moss giants or Hill giants. Depends what you want to train, but for mossies you need to do D slayer first. For hillies.. Go to edgeville dungeon. Go to the VVVVVEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRYYYYYYYY Back, with the mining spot. Pass that. You should see hobgoblins and zombies. Now, enter that little room next the the zombies *JUST* before the big cave. Grab the brass key. Now, go up the ladder, and use said key on the shack door. Go to varrock bank, and get your fighting equipment. Now, go back to the shack, and open the door. DOWN THE LADDER. Now, enter the cave. FOR MELEE.. Just attack a giant. FOR RANGED/MAGE... Go to the VVVVVEEEERRRRRRYYY back of this large cavernous area. You should see a buncha dead bones and junk. Go behind the skeleton, and shoot to your hearts content.
  5. Adam looked around. On the wall, he saw a burnt skeleton..dangling from chains, with old blood spilled across the floor. He heard a low grumble. "Gggggggrrrrrrrrr..." he heard. he turned around..and saw a very, scary sight. In his face, stood a 12 foot tall, blood red, evil Greater Demon. He backed away. The demon didn't notice him though..it was focused on a swarm of bugs, picking at his old, rotten flesh. "EVERYONE, PILE ON PETER!!!' screamed a random person! Peter began to defend himself. he ran around, as fire and arrows and blades all cut through his black robes. "LAST MAN STANDING WINS!!" Said peter. Adam took out his staff. People began cutting him up! He healed a lot, and tried to pray to zamorack to protect from Melee attackers..but..he was at 0 prayer. "DANGIT!!" He yelled, jumping out of the ruins. He hid behind a flock of trees. A weaker ranger ran past him. He wore Chaps of Green Dragonhide, and wielded a bow of maple wood. Adam decided to have fun. "Laugh at me will they?!" shouted Adam. Immediately, a ball of fire formed between his staff and hand, and he shot a bolt of it at the ranger. BAM!! contact! His shirt tattered with flames as the flames roared against him. The ranger was hit again. He turned around, and fired arrows at Adam. He dodged, and shot one last bolt. BAM!!! It sounded against his shirt as fire ripped him in 2. Adam grabbed multiple runes, and the chaps from his corpse. He ran south. The war had been fun, as well as the Tipit OoC VS OoB war..and he guaranteed himself, he would joijn more of these events. "I will most definitely be back for more.." grinned Adam, glancing at the shining, green scaled pair of dragonhide chaps slung over his shoulder. TEH END
  6. Across the dirt and grass they walked. In the distance, they saw hills. Though..in time..things weren't so peaceful. the hills? They were mounds..and the dead werre buried beneath them. On them, were people. Fighting. Blood spilled across the ground. The OoC leaders tried to sneak between the mounds..to no prevail. Arrows flew through the sky, bolts of water, earth, air, and fire slammedtheir allies with burning effect, and scimitars slashes gouges through other people. peter yelled, 'RUN!!' Immediately, the whole team ran away. Deep wilderness awaited them. Everybody regrouped. There was considerably less men than they had begun with. Everybody was uttering about killing the OoBs for this malicious act.. They trekked through the wilderness. In the sky, neither day nor night could be told apart. The sky was black. The dirt? Also, black. Footprints of dragons, giants, and evil men alike crossed paths every other mile. They passed marshy ponds, evil forests, and dark plains..eventually, they reached a Hill. On this hill, there were multiple holes. Spiders crawled around the hill, and a gleaming blue sapphire was on top. "Ah! We are here!" Said a navigator. "To the far east!!" For many hours, they trekked across the hilly landscape. Adam_ross0's fire staff began to seem heavy in his cold, pale hands. In the distance, he spotted ruins..a building. The team ran inside. "Here. We have shelter. Tonight, we rest. Tomorrow, we make our way to the edge..to varrock. Perhaps those OoB murderers are still in Edgeville." said a man. But not all was peaceful.
  7. It was about midday. The members of the OoC, wearing black robes, red capes, and chef's hats, marched through the world. They had just BOMBER multiple locations around Misthalin and Asgarnia with Cabbages, and were about to go let off some fun in the Wilderness. In Edgeville, the bank was filled with many OoC members. Bankers furiously swept through multiple bank accounts, processing PIN numbers, bringing out runes and lobsters, and generally, serving the masses. Adam_Ross0 stood in the middle of the crowd. he held all of his Earth, Air, Mind, and Chaos runes in his hand and put them in a pocket in his robes. He thanked the banker, and exited the bank. The grass was trampled, and the leaders of the OoC were directing traffic. "Follow Peter!!" they yelled many a time,. Adam joined the massive line behind him. People wielded bows of the finest wood, staves of the best Elven forging, and Scimitars made by the skillful Desert Smiths. eventually, the trek started.
  8. As for pictures, I will try. I have yet to get any screenshots though, but sometime or another I will try and get the following: 1) A picture of me in recommended equipment. 2) A picture of the spot I hunt at. 3) A pic of me fighting a dragon when it uses fire. Ill try and 'edit' these a little to show you guys what I am talking about when Im going on about fire. I hope ths gets in AoW though! I doubt it will..but..hey! It's a goal to work for :)
  9. Ok. thank you VERY much for that information mattisthe1! I wasn't really sure where the chest was, so that information was very unclear. Again, thank you.
  10. Wow, for 60 defence you'd figure the obby shield would be better, LOL
  11. Alright, ty. my plan actually, is to make cannonballs and get 300k from that to buy the shield. That way, I raise smithing, AND I don't go broke :D Either way, Im going to look up the defence stats for both of them on a different site. Mainly to decide if risking the defence is worth the strength bonus.
  12. what weapon you got?
  13. Ok, need another player's opinion here. OK...So, i have 2 options.. 1) Keep my rune Kiteshield and save up, and not lose money OR 2) Sell my rune kite, and buy the obby shield..although I will be dead BROKE. If I do buy it, Im gonna be making cannonballs to level 50 smithing so I can sell them 200 ea. So..should I buy the shield?
  14. Well, there's a reason I listed that particular area: 1) You can teleport immediately if you area attacked. 2) It isn't very far from the edge of the wilderness. 3) It is the only spot I have visited. I tried to use all of the stuff in this guide from my actual experience, so that I could actually tell you information about those particular topics in a more efficient matter. But, thank you for telling me about that spot! I will have to check it out. If this guide is still up by then, I will most definitely add any areas I visit onto the Chapters. Anywho, thank you for all of your suggestions! I will look into them. And I will try and put up a list of some of the..'BEST' drops they can drop
  15. Yeah..I know it's an insult..but I hate it very bad..gets on my nerves. BTW, nice sig!
  16. Yeah. It's been a while since I've done stories, actually. Another game I played had a story channel, and I got good at telling them there..but, the game was closed down for maitenance a few months ago..so, kinda lost my touch a little. Oh well, Thanks for reading! EDIT: Yay! It'll be back in January! I love those mods on that game..
  17. Well....no idea yet. probably, if I get enough supporters, I'll create a list and then paste this on the official forums of runescape. Trust me..Jagex pays attention to posts with huge supporter lists
  18. Now, personally..I think rock dropping, popping up and down ladders, and holding your own flag are the 3 most cheapest tricks and newbish strategies in this whole game..but, I will have to admit, this is a pretty good guide to that.
  19. General rules of the wilderness~~ 1) If someone runs out of the wilderness, they are a 'scared noob'. 2) If someone is a lower combat/total level than you, they are a 'noob' 3) If they are a HIGHER combat/total level than you, they are a 'choob'. 4) If someone activates a prayer, they are a 'Pray Noob' 5) If someone is NOT you, they are a 'N00b'. 6) If someone uses food, they are a 'Food Noob'. 7) If someone says you are a noob, they are lying, and they are the noob. 8) If someone steals your monster/arrows/drop/etc., they are a 'Thief Noob'. 9) If someone isn't a pure, they are a 'defence noob'. 10) If someone beats you in a duel or pking, they are a noob. 11) Everyone, but you, is a noob. Get the trend? Yes. noob is WAY overused. Who says it is also? I think it is. So! I say we do something about it. If I can get enough people to support, I *MIGHT* copy the names to the RuneScape forums. Post away!
  20. Exactly. you ever need some help, just gimee a message (my chat is ON most of the time)! Ill be glad to help. Anyways..yeah. NOOB is overused. I got called a 'DEFENCE NOOB' in the duel because I killed off a pure with very little effort..wearing NOTHING. I also got called a 'PRAY NOOB' because I used PFM. I mean, if I earned it..I should use it, right? Anyways. Support this rant COMPLETELY
  21. CHAPTER 5: The End. Ok. Well, this is the end of the guide..so..umm..yeah. Any and all feedback on this guide is appreciated (and wanted!). This is my very first guide to anything, so don't be too rough lol  Alright. Well, good luck killing Green Dragons, and I hope this guide helped you out! Again, I am VERY sorry I could not create stuff for rangers and mages too, but..I have no experience fighting the dragons with either of these combat styles, so I could not tell you this from experience. Alrighty, well, GOODBYE!   ***NOTE*** Dun attack meh if ye see me! I had this one dude attack me today wit a whip, I protect from melee'd him, and DDS spec'd twice..he ran in PH332!11!!! you have been warned. Teh Adam teh Impaler is after j00!! For real now, bye.
  22. CHAPTER 4: Drops. Ah..everyone's favorite part of fighting: The Drops. Green Dragons USUALLY, drop like this: Green Dragonhide Dragon Bones . If you want a link to a FULL list of Green Dragon drops, visit this link: http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2monster_id=59 Thanks to Kingrazo, Vap137, Ferrol, KingJD, Eeeeediot, kirerudori, longbowman80, XX magiks XX, Blooped254, my_pet_worm, bvlilnick00, Lil Boutch, K-UniK, casper163, abomb67, inferno_char, and Headnazgul for this amazing Bestiary guide! Now, here is what the drops are useful for: GREEN DRAGONHIDE: With this, you can go to a tanner, have it tanned, and with a certain amount and the right crafting level, create green dragonhide armor. I recommend just selling it for about 1k a pop though :P DRAGON BONES: Ok. Not EXACTLY sure on exp totals, but this can be use for prayer exp. Just left-click it, or right click and select 'bury bones'. NORMAL BURY: 250 exp or so. ECTOFUNTUS: 600 exp or so. ITEM: It depends what it is. If you TRULY do not know what an Item does, send me a message on my tip.it forum inbox and I will happily explain it to you. Ok, from some of my suggestions, I have come to the decision to create a 'Best Drops' guide. So, here they are, and why they are good! DRAGON SPEAR: A LOT of different monsters drop these..it's just very very rare as a drop. Personally, I hear it is not a good Dragon Weapon, but..look on the bright side- you got it from an ultra-rare drop, and it can be poisoned. Plus, it looks friggin awesome and you can sell it to others for around 300k. HALF KEY: Yup. It drops the half key LOOP or TEETH. What this does, is..if you get a half-key, you can combine it with the other half, and then open a chest in a house. From what I hear, it is south of the Witch's house in Taverly (thanks to Mattisthe1 for the location!). Inside the home, you can open the chest to get some items. Not exactly sure, but I hear there is a wide range of items..including Dragonstones. CLUE (level 3): Good..why? Because! If you do a level 3 clue in treasure trails, you have a chance at getting many Rune items..or better..including God armor, gilded, Rune (g) or (t)..and many more valuable items. DRAGON HALF SHIELD (left): This is a VERY rare drop. If you get this, you are TRULY lucky. With this, and the right half, you can forge the greatest shield in the game: The dragon square shield. If you get one, simply buy the other half for 700k from the Legend's guild, and use the 2 pieces on an anvil. Again, if you actually get this..and don't want it..ILL TAKE IT!! Ok, kidding. But, if you do get this, in all seriousness, you are one VERY lucky individual. End of Chapter.
  23. Chapter 3: Fighting Dragons and Avoiding Pkers. Ok, this is a very easy part. If there are more than 3 other people here, world hop. Since there are only 3 dragons, this spot CAN get crowded. Now, how to fight the Dragons. Well, personally, I usually ready my DDS and activate the special, and wait for the dragon to attack me. No more than 2 specs on one dragon, though. Your special (for me, at least) will usually refill about 20% during the duration of the fight. So, you get 2/3 of the special you spent, back to you. Now as for fighting, I really cant go into much detail. Everybody has their own way of combat. I am telling you MY recommendations for this type of training. Ok. For healing, I recommend wait UNTIL you're down to about half health, then use a lobby. AVOIDING PKERS: I covered most of this in the chapter above, but, I'll just sum up how to Identify them. 1) If they are skulled. If tey are skulled, odds are, they are a pker. 2) If they are wearing high-end equipment that one usually wouldn't bring to kill dragons, they might be a pker. 3) If they have NO ANTI-FIRE shield..odds are, they be a pker. 4) If they are around your combat level..and are standing there near you waiting for you to finish that fight, they probably will attack you. Again, Im NOT an avid Pker, so these are just basic trends I have noticed. End of chapter. not REALLY the end..I got 2 more screenshots right here! Enjoy!! Ok, here's an 'edited' screenshot..this should show some key objects and items in this screenie. I also enlarged it to show some text and stuff. Enjoy! If you have any problems reading this one (the text is small, i know.), just post or PM me and i will do the best in my ability to enlarge the text or image more.
