  1. Get a N64..or an Emulator. GET CONKERS BAD FUR DAY. It's hilarious. But the 17+ rating is true..even though it censors ALMOST everything very bad..lol..I could quote some stuff..in fact, I will. That's just a sampling of the content. DEFINITELY be wary of this game. But it's funny..and good...
  2. Wow..that's pathetic. Jagex will let scammers have their way, break their OWN rules..yet they will ban someone for overpricing an item IN AN ECONOMY THEY CLAIM TO HAVE NO CONTROL OVER?!!?! Jagex sure is showing ME as a player how irresponsible they are, and how careless with decisions they are. I'm probably going to quit RuneScape now..I lost membership, I don't think I want it back. Byebye RS, hello Warcraft 3. Deception is ALSO a form of scamming. As I have explained, Deception is a form of trickery..trickery to get profit or personal gain. And, TRICKERY involves, in this case, tricking someone into going into a dangerous area. tricking into wildy -> trickery -> deception -> SCAMMING -> Against Rule #2 And there we have it. And why should the stupid suffer? They may have never heard of the scam..they may just be hollow in the head. But they have equal rights as anyone else.
  3. I would probably ask what advice they could give me and any others on what I should really be working on right now to become better at the game.
  4. I've never used Opera, but my best suggestion is to prop your Laptop up with something. Let the bottom have some air beneath it for a while to cool off. If a Laptop gets too warm, the fans will start going faster..you could have a problem from that. If anything, just exit out of everything, put it in sleep mode or whatever, and let it cool off.
  5. Is luring an acceptable practice..good question. Some say yes..because it is the Wilderness. Some say no, because it breaches the rules. I'll go with the latter. As far as I know, Deception means to trick someone into a deal/proposition with false information. According to Rule #2, Deception is an illegal practice in RuneScape. Luring is pretty much lying to someone to get them into the wildernesswith their valuables. So..since we have defined Luring, it seems it is a form of DECEPTION..is it not? So, is Jagex breaching their own rules? Does this mean that they are being hypocritical by saying we need to follow the rules? I say yes. LURING, as I see it, is a highly dishonorable and idiotic practice. It disappoints me that Jagex showed their TRUE intelligence by allowing this to go on.
  6. So..there's the guide..post any suggestions or how you like it..or stuff and stuff and stuff and stuff and stuff
  7. Hey everybody..it's me again, and this be my 2nd guide! My first one was the guide to Green dragon killing..I learned a lot from that, so hopefully I can make this one even better. Enjoy!! CHAPTERS: 1) About the Crabs 2) Location 3) What to bring 4) General info about the area 5) Conclusion -------------------------------- CHAPTER 1) About those Crabs Ok..so..you're probably wondering: 'why kill rock crabs..they're just little bitty buggers anyways.'. Well, you kinda answered your own question. They're little annoying buggers. But..there's also another reason. THEY ARE EASY AND MASSIVE EXP. They are easy to get to..easy to kill..easy to find..why wouldn't you like them?? the only downside is that the main area is multi-combat. So..if someone brings a cannon..or there are a lot of people..bang, you'e out of the exp train. ABOUT THE CRABS: Here is what they look like: Scary, I know. The very first time I saw one I threw my Dragon Longsword and ran. Then I came back and realized it stole it..so I had to kil it..but thats a long story. ROCK CRAB: Level: 13 hitpoints: 50 (yay!) exp per hit: 200* drops: nothing very special..the best thing I've ever gotten is a Level 1 clue scroll (actually, I got a zammy page from it too!)..and some coins. NOT good for drops. * = the source i got the exp from isn't the most reliable..they had tons of different exp counts, and this wasn't the total. If you KNOW the total, PM me or opost here. So..other than my zammy page experience, there are no drops. 2) Location Gotta hate walking. Ok..anyways. They are actually very easy to find. I know of 2 places where they are..Waterbirth Island and The beach at the north end of the Fremnnik province. the only bad part about the Province beach is..there are usually tons of people there! Bad huh? oh well..and it's multi combat too. Here is an image of how to get to the Beach spot from Seer's Village. (note: i haven't gone to the waterbirth spot yet. I will sometime soon though.): Ok..yes, I DID include a route through the mountains..technically I see it as quicker (I've used it once)..but you need to do some quests to do it, and if you go the wrong way, BAM! Troll rock barrage. So don't take this route unless you know it well. ----- CHAPTER 3) What to bring what to bring..to be honest, Anything you want. I personally say, all of your best stuff. These guys barely hit a 1 through all of the stuff you're likely to bring, and you'll be rolling in exp by the seconds..so..if you got it, bring it! I personally like to bring.. Yeah. I personally say, if you have the requirments and stuff to use the equipment..bring a whip or any dragon weapon, your best armor (especially if it has a strength bonus..for some reason..lol) Obsidian shield, FIRE CAPE IF YOU HAVE IT (for the strength bonus), and any amulet you want. The harder you hit, the more exp per hit you will have..so..yeah. If you are a lower level, I advise you bring a strength amulet, whatever armor you can wear, and just about any weapon you can wield. These guys are weak..they're really no threat whatever level you are (unless you are below 20..ugh), it's just the matter of being able to kill off the 50 hitpoints before it damages you too much. Just in case, bring some food or potions. ---------- 4) GENERAL INFO ABOUT THE AREA I put this in all caps because it is an important section. ~~~TO ATTACK A ROCK CRAB~~~ You may be saying 'duh..right click and hit attack'. no. It's more complicated. you have to WALK to a rock..if it pops up, it's a crab. THEN right click and attack.. amazingly complicated, huh? Cannons: Cannons can be sed here as well. I really don't like cannon users myself (no offence to anyone)..but you CAN use them here. Just set it up and let the cannonballs fly. Pures: From what I hear, this is amazing training for a pure character. I have no idea about pure training..I've never done a pure. So..if you're looking for a good spot..here is the little gem you've been looking for. 5) Conclusion Well..i hope you enjoyed this guide! I enjoyed writing it. anyways, hope to see you at the beach (killing crabs..not sleeping!)!
  8. I just saw the bank image..GREAT idea!
  9. Ok..thanks guys..ne wproblem now: ..How do I do the puzzle?
  10. I've got 44 prayer..my plan is to turn on protect from mage before i select the sigil, then RUN to the hide spot and wait for the gnomes to lower it's health.
  11. Could I beat monkey madness?? I have 40 ranged, full green d hide, a yew shortbow, and I will be using mithril arrows. I'll take about 4-5 prayer pots, and SHARKS for food. Can I kill it?
  12. Hey everybody! Adam left the tip.it forums for a while..I figured the guide had died. Turns out it hasn't! Thanks for keeping it alive by posting!! Ok, thanks for that information on the D bones..I'll be sure to edit that in :P
  13. So...combat levels determine if you are a Noob? I think not. I have seen level 126's act like that 10 year old kid who sits at the computer all day drinking MT dew and eating [garden tool]-hos, thinking he is 1337 because he can beat someone in the wilderness. Yes, I have seen this..this is not a joke. I know people who are level *20* that are mature, know a lot about the game, and know all about the greatest and latest items and skills, and how to play the game. My point? Combat levels do not determine if you are a NOOB.
  14. Personally, I think the total level matters more. sure, you can be a level 126 with a 396 total level..does that mean I'm gonna think you worked as hard as the guy with a 1584 total level and combat of 3? No..I wont. total level > combat level. 'Nuff said.
  15. VERY excellent guide! I only watch the vid where you fought, but I learned a lot from it. DEFINITELY 10/10.
  16. Some guy offered 25k for an Addy B axe I had once..back then, it was a fortune to me  Anyways. One time, this dude offered an Iron platebody for me full bronze (when I was new)..I got scammeded.
  17. Eventually..I plan to make a guide to cover EVERY type of dragon killing...cept the KBD, Im not THAT brave :P But Ty! Im glad that the pictures helped :D
  18. I SUPPORT but, one thing. I don't think it should be 77 woodcutting..how about 60? Since 60 is pretty much the same as mining, and both skills fit as the 2 most profitable, aside from fishing. Besides..at 60, you get YEW trees..which are the goals of MANY woodcutters to eventually swing their axe at.
  19. Nice guide, in a way. At least you described what to watch out for. Heres another.. Alright. So, this one dude..he was hired for a PK video. He had to bring ONLY his whip. And, the user gave him 28 cabbages (un noted) to see if his inventory was empty. So, to the wilderness they went. The scammer dropped *4* D b axes..and the guy picked them all up. Then, he was attacked by the guy..died, and lost 1 axe and his whip..because the axes are worth more than the whip, according to the default price. Always watch out. If someone wants YOU in a p vid, never accept unless you KNOW and TRUST them.
  20. So..has anyone tried out the Dragons yet?
  21. *GASPSHOCKAWE* [sarcasm=on]Good Idea! Yeah, delete that 230k I worked my butt off for. Go ahead! Delete my Dragon Battleaxe, I don't mind! You can delete the 75 combat I worked HARD for also! [/sarcasm] Also Jagex, if you do this, why not delete the whole game? I dont like that Idea.
  22. VERY nice guide! There is one thing though..I THINK for the Ancient Staff, you can only cast ancients. For normal magic, Ahrim's staff has he same magic Defence AND Offence stats as the ancient staff, and you get Ahrim's effect.
  23. I've been updating this a LOT today. If you've already looked at the guide, might wanna re-read over it again. I've added a few tidbits of info. I've also got the screenshots uploaded :D Anyways, end of updates for today. Enjoy the guide!
  24. *blows up Isengard* *saved Hobbits..they lives until 1993* *what was once Isengard..is now an Amish Paradise..the the Hobbits are kicking the amish in the butts* Awesomest. videos. ever.
  25. Very basic, and you COULD go more in depth. But, I like the way you described the strategies. I could almost see them, but you need more detail on how to fight against them. 4/10
