  1. So, I'm reaching the standard level requirements for Armadyl teams, and I've read basically every armadyl guide I can find, but the problem I'm having is they seem mostly out of date. For example, most teams require fruit bats as familiars, yet no guides that I've read even mention these. Anyways, I'm wondering what I should be bringing with me for Armadyl trips. My gear will be pretty standard (Verac helm, Arma top and skirt, DFS, ruby/diamond, etc etc) My main questions are: -what should my inventory be composed of? -Brew:Rest ratio? -Bring a knife for fruit bat? -Which fruits are worth eating? If anyone could help shed some light for me, I'd be most appreciative. :D Edit for stats: As I said, " I'm reaching the standard level requirements for Armadyl teams", so I didn't really think it would be necessary to post my stats, but here goes: 99 Range 78/80-85 def 52 Prayer (Planning on 70 if needed, I have more than enough money for it) 69 Summoning.
  2. With your current stats, Your best chance at having a decent PKing account would be getting 99 str, or maxing all stats. Your attack and def levels arent looking that hot right now. :\
  3. Getting full void with low/mid level(a mix), took about 20 hours, for me.
  4. Hey there. I've owned this account for a long time. It's gone from range pure, to range/mage hybrid, to rune ranger, and now finally, I'm "upgrading" to zerker. I'm planning to achieve my goal stats within a week, or less. My stats currently are: 70/70 Attack 70/80 Strength 42/45 Defense 99/99 Range 94/94 Mage (With both vengeance and barrage) 52/52 Prayer (Gotten when smite was actually useful) 87/88 HP (I calculated my end HP) My combat will be level 88. For general pking, I'm thinking about using a fast firing range weapon, such as msb, obby rings, or karils), and whipping out claws for the K0, and possibly crossbow+dragon bolts if i don't have any spec bars left). Yes, I do have the money for this. I will of course be on the Lunar spellbook most of the time. What do you think about my stats, and how I plan to use it? Thanks for your time! ^_^
  5. What you say is 100% false. Getting a drop WORTH 5m, and getting a drop of 5m CASH is completely different. Ill explain: With the former PvP system, if, for example you got a drop worth 2.5m(lets pretend its a whip), you would then, as you said, go and sell it at GE. You would put up an sell offer, and eventually it would be bought by another random player, with PRE-EXISTING money. Through this system, NO MONEY IS ENTERING THE ECONOMY. It is a simple exchange of equal values. The only problem with this was that many of the more expensive items(barrows, dfs, etc) were becoming more common, and therefor, obeying the law of "supply and demand", the prices of the said items went down, because of the increased supply. With the current PvP system, if a player gets a drop of 2.5m(in statuettes), they go cash in these to mandrith in edgeville, and are given 2.5m CASH. That's 2.5m that came from nowhere. 2.5m more gold in the economy. So, this person goes, with his freshly minted money, to GE, and buys a whip! So, you might ask, "How is this different from the above system?". The answer is simple. With more money (and believe me, being a hardcore pker, with many friends that pk, i see TONS of statuette drops every day) entering the economy, being given to players, the demand for items increases dramatically. Of course, now that none of these items are being dropped in PvP anymore, the supply also grows at a much slower rate, and is unable to keep up with the ever increasing demand of these expensive items. For anyone with decent stats, PKing is VERY profitable. For anyone with not so good stats, 76k'ing is an even BETTER source of income. Either way, much more money is being brought into the economy through the new PvP drops than is being lost through deaths. This massive influx of GP is what has caused the great inflation, along with merchanting clans, and of course, slightly by the increase of players over the summer, as well. P.S. You find me more than 1 out of 10 people (of all levels) that don't know what tricking is and I'll be amazed. The population of trickers is far greater than you think. tldr: You sound exactly like the kind of person that tricks a lot, and should die. :|
  6. The rune crossbow is far superior to the crystal bow. The only plus sides of the crystal bow is that its range bonus is +100(but only when it is fully charged), whereas the rune crossbow is +90. The crystal bow is also a TINY bit faster. A runecrossbow with broad bolts: -hits much higher -is much cheaper for both the ammo and the bow itself(even when comparing to the lowest crystal bow costs -doesnt degrade -has a higher bonus that anything but a 8/10 crystal bow -allows you to wear a shield(which could be an unholy book, making the crossbow a much better choice) And yeah, thats about it. The crystal bow is 100% obsolete. It would be better as a level 50 range weapon, not level 70 ,with whatever the agility requirement is. :|
  7. EDIT: nevemind, i misread what you wrote. thought it said black dragons.
  8. I don't see why everyone says MM and DT are so hard. I did MM at level 30 on one pure account, and DT on a level 47, both without prayer. Sure, it cost me a fair amount in food, but they were both relativity straightforward. The boss fight in MM is incredibly easy, if you know how to do it.
  9. Sorry, maybe i'm just over-tired, but...what?
  10. Has a new ranged max hit calc been created that can calculate max hits using the "ranged strength" bonuses? Thanks :D
  11. i have 77 range. and i hit 24s with rune bolts no pray or pot, with pot i hit a 31, and a 40 with drag bolts (e). with mith bolts unpotted or pray, i hit 19s.
