  1. Well, one of my sons persuaded me into trying it out, and he's played it for years. I always saw him playing, but I never payed attention to it until recently.
  2. Thanks for all of the welcomes, everybody. Well, I doubt I'll ever join a game that requires a payment. I may move on to another game if Runescape starts to bore me, but I don't see that happening in the near future.
  3. I don't. Let's eat him. Aw, you sure know how to make a guy feel welcome. Hmm, it looks like some of you might be hearing from me in the game.
  4. I don't sign up for the members version because I'm already paying for it for one of my children's accounts, and I just started with the free version. If I ever sign up for it (which I doubt I will), it won't be for a while.
  5. Thanks for welcoming me. I can see that people here are more sensible than others I've seen so far... :P
  6. Hi everyone here at tip.it. I just made this topic to introduce myself. My Runescape name is Hullobaloo, and my real name is Jeff. I've been into computers for a long time, but I've never really gotten into games. But a week ago, one of my sons got me to try the game that he has been playing for years. On my first log in, I did the tutorial area, and I had to admit it was mildly fun. After fooling around, taking a break, and coming back for a second time - that's when I knew I was hooked, LOL. One of the first things he did was show me this website so I could help myself when he wasn't standing over my shoulder, haha. The only hitch with Runescape is the unpleasant community that I find in the crowded towns. I guess all I can do is overlook them and do my best to make friends with more sane players. Anyways, I'm sure you've had your fill of me by now. If you don't let us post this kind of thread, sorry for doing so. I didn't see anywhere that said we can't. . . I'm glad I have this website to refer to when I need it. I guess I'll... go play Runescape or something now, LOL. See you all later 8-)
