  7. Thank you, but I do update and immunise often. I don't think that is the problem. Spybot S&D won't let me scan if there are updates available.
  8. Ok, is it the RUNDLL32 thing? Because that seems to be the only thing that looks the same as the error message.
  9. Ok, thanks, I will try that.
  10. Argh. My computer is filled with problems. Sometimes when I try to log off, it doesn't log off. Nothing happens and it justs stays there. I've checked Microsoft help and they say that it might have something to do with an application called ccApp[Caution: Executable File] related to Norton. I looked in Norton's startup application manager and ccApp[Caution: Executable File] is ticked to start up when booting. I don't want to untick it because Microsoft says it may make my computer more vulnerable to viruses. Any help would be appreciated. Links to threads on my other problems on my computer. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=638 ... sc&start=0 http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=644613 EDIT:Why does [Caution: Executable File] automatically turn into [Caution]?
  11. Ok, ummmm, where's Msconfig. Edit: If you were talking about going to run and typing msconfig I just tried that and clicked on find and couldn't find the thing.
  12. Ok, when I log in, straight after it says 'Welcome, Loading you personal settings' this error message pops up. Nothing else loads except for the desktop backgound. I don't know what it is and it happens to all users on the computer. After I click OK or close it, everything goes to normal and it loads the icons on the desktop and the icons in the notification area. Please help if you can.
  13. Some people installed Counter Strike on most of the school computers. To access it you need to substitute the drives. Everyone just plays with each other on LAN network. When teachers come, I just use Bosskeys :D .

Somewhere in a post before I think you said that you sit on the handle bars. How do you brake then.... If you reach back to the brakes, won't it look a bit awkward? Scratching you bum while riding a bike... No offense.
  15. Ok. Here's a new HijackThis log. Ahhhhh. I noticed that http://VeryCD.265.com was in the log. I never visited it though. Isn't that strange?
  16. Ok. I haven't been to that site. I think I've heard of it though. Why do you ask? I used AVG antispyware, Ad-Aware SE Personal, Spybot S&D and Norton. I only have a log from AVG though. Here it is.
  17. Ummm... I'm not sure if I can trust CounterSpy. Because I'm not sure how to viruses came in if it wasn't from downloading, but the only things I downloaded recently were the programs you told me to download. I'm not blaming anyone here, I'm just asking can CounterSpy be trusted? Or maybe the download link was changed so a virus would come in. Please tell me if I can trust CounterSpy.
  18. Sorry I haven't posted the thing yet. The computer cashed a few days ago. It restarted once you logged in. It is working now so I am scanning and it seems to have a lot of viruses. After the scans I will probably be able to post the log.
  19. No, Norton doesn't tell the location where Spyware.Quicksearch was found for some reason. I'm gonna go scan now. BTW, thanks for your help so far.
  20. Yes, my Norton Antivirus is up to date. I Liveupdate quite often. I am downloading Counterspy now. So, the same procedure? I update if I have to and scan it in safe mode?
  21. Here is the report that AVG saved after the scan.

  23. Ok, I'm downloading AVG Antispyware. I have a Windows XP CD but it is a fake copy so some programs like Windows Media Player 11 won't work as it tries to verify if your copy of Windows is genuine. So I want to fix it and not reformat. I know how to reformat BTW.
  24. Ummm... Which version are you talking about with the AVG antivirus. Because the link wouldn't work so I Googled it and I downloaded version 7.5 which doesn't have the 'Scanner icon at the top.
