  1. Yea, it's definitely autoers. If you go to the fishing shop in Port Sarim on any F2P world you will see tons of autoer looking people. And if you watch the stock of the shop on feathers you will see that mysteriously right when the shop gets to the price where they sell for 1 each they suddenly get bought and the price goes up again.....hmmmmm....
  2. NO NO NO, I would never choose this game over friends, no way. Maybe I wrote that wrong. All I'm saying is yea I guess I'm obsessed but not really in a bad way because I spend lots more time with friends and doing much better stuff than playing.
  3. Yea dude, I could probably say I'm addicted to it, but I'm in College and I am in a clan in RS, so I balance my time pretty well I think, I can only make maybe one or two of my clans events a week because I am either in class or more often than not I just am not playing because I am with friends or doing some much more important stuff than playing a stupid game. I realize that I am way too obsessed with the game but at the same time I am gettin good grades in a hard college in hard classes, I have had a girlfriend (in real life, not one you dance in Varrock with...) for almost 3 years now, not many RSer's have that I'm guessing, but hey whatever, and I spend tons of time with my friends. I mean as long as you balance your time, I think it's ok to be kind of obsessed with it. P.S Thanks for giving me somewhere to finally say this haha. ~Skurf
  4. Yea, I would have to agree, you can get stuff there that you would have hard time finding anywhere else, and it's relativley convienient if you need a flour mill. But since the best way to train cooking and the most popular foods are fish, it's really kind of pointless. But it's pretty easy to get into anyways at only 32 cooking, so why do you ask?
  5. Ok, so first off, If Notorious thinks that this won't work because of all his reasons than ok, fine. But then it would appear that there are a lot of what he calls, 'bad macros' out there because tons of people have tried this and had it work right away. So yea. And as for the guy that said there was no point because they will be right back, it's not really about stopping them, it's purely about fun, and screwing the idiots who mess up the games for everyone else, even if it's short lived. I mean come on, it's just that, a game, it's made to be played and to have fun, not to have a computer play it for you.....
  6. I'm sure other logs would work but there are way more macros on yews and there aren't any good places I can think of to lure willows macros... As for it working, if all the pictures and like 8 pages of peolpe saying it does doesn't help you then.....
  7. I saw it before he ever edited it and I saw that it said 20 fishing required....At least, I think I did :-k Well, whatever, I haven't seen many guides that people don't take advice on and edit so who cares anyways. It's fixed now.
  8. I don't mean to flame, I am just saying you should site things like the tinderbox idea. Anyways, just so you don't flip out on me, here's my rating: 5/10 Now that you have fixed the things to say wait to cook lobsters until 76 it's much better because it's more reasonable but my only problem is that there has been a guide saying the exact same thing for a while. I think the meat cooking is a good idea, either that or chickens like that other guy said. Good idea to take advantage of the fact that there are so many people who are looking for feathers or hides and just leave the meat because they themselves don't need the low lvl cooking exp. P.S. I never said it was my guide. I can't remember who's guide it is.
  9. Ok, I don't want to be full of myself or anything but since you basically took exactly what I said and put in in your guide you should maybe put me as a source... Wait, no, because I got all that stuff I told you from another guide which means you just took informtaion from another guide and put it in yours.....hmmm.... That noted log/tinderbox thing is straight out of another guide on here, I can't find it at the moment but I'm pretty sure it's in the AOW. I think maybe a Mod or someone could back me up on the fact that that's straight out of another guide.
  10. Ok, im going to try to go the constructive criticism route here. I think you did a great job putting it together with the pictures and lay out and every thing. (We all hate those stupid paragraph ones). My problem is with some of your actual tips and stuff. I am only 59 cooking myself but I still know a few things. First I really don't think cooking lobs right at 40 is a very good idea at all. They are pretty expensive considering you will be burning a lot of them! At my level of 59 I still burn somewhere between 2-4 lobs in every load. I just think you would have a lot of trouble and waste a lot of money cooking lobs right at 40. I would do Tuna at the very least. Especially because as I learner from another great cooking guide on here you can buy them from the store on Karamja for 30 each! I think at 40 I would personally still do Salmon or something, that would give you fishing exp too if you got your own or you could buy them right here on the forums for pretty cheap too. I think you should wait until at least around my level in the 55-60 range to do lobsters because they are so much more expensive (especially for a poor f2p'er) and you would be burning a fair amount. So I like your guide and it's set up but I don't like the ideas behind it. It's like the woodcutting guide that said: cut oaks at 15, cut willows and 30, cut yews at 60, and so on. Just because you can cook them doesn't mean you should. Especially because like you said, you are trying to get the most exp per dollar. Which means Tuna is the way to go! ~Skurf
  11. O wow, I'm an idiot, ok yea good call, I totally didn't think of that. So maybe you should clarify that for idiots like me in your guide....tip....thing
  12. Earlier you corrected someone saying that you will have 26 spots for logs, but he was right, you will have to have a spot for money, tinderboz, and arrows, which only leaves 25 spots for logs. Other than that, not a bad idea but I do think it would slow you down a little bit. Maybe I'll give it a shot.
  13. Haha, I finally tried it out just a few minutes ago, worked like a charm for first try, I got one of the smart macros that runs away when attacked but it was still sweet. I'll definitely try again later. And to all the people who think its dumb beacause you gain nothing, thats not the point, if you hate macros then its totally worth it, even if you lose some logs along the way, who cares! Check out my first attempt: So Maybe I got a little too excited, but I love woodcutting and these stupid macros are everywhere and they kill it for me so this is the best thing ever!
  14. This is just the coolest guide, I hate autoers and I hope you don't mind that I added a link for it to my sig?
  15. Yea this isn't too bad. Something I found out today on karamja is if it's busy you can actually find cooked lobsters in the general store for 45 each!! Since you get good drops from lessers, etc. And if you sell them to the general store or alch them you can easily make money to buy food which speeds up training. I like Moss Giants too but they are only good if you can find an uncrowded world. I can get like 4-6 kills of them before I even need to eat 1 lobster to keep my health full. As for food with the Ice Giants, you can again use money from drops/alching drops and run up to the fishing store in Port Sarim where you can buy tuna or lobs and cook them on the stove in the building just North of there. All in all not a bad guide. There is already a really nice guide on Ice Giants thought which includes the ones in the wild. Maybe add some pictures and exp. per hour counts for different monsters?? 7/10
