I meant the whole header as opposed to just the reader-friendly bit. I don't know how you read your email so I can't tell you how to view it.
In Gmail you can click the down arrow, on the right of 'Reply' at the top of a message, then click 'Show original'. Copy and paste the part above the actual message text and it will looks a bit like this, taken from some spam:

Can you copy and paste the header of the email? Addresses are often spoofed.

For clarity, the school I went to, the school my brother went to and the school my girlfriend's dad teaches at are all state schools.
Maybe it's different in Scotland compared to the rest of Britain.That's quite possible, given the number of other differences between Scottish and English law.
Parents do have the option to withdraw their children from such teachings, however I suspect that the majority of them don't realise that it is being taught as fact rather than opinion. I suspect parents think that their children are just being educated about all religions - something which I fully support.

6100 RPM? Now that is high for a laptop... When I said one of mine ran at 4800 that was an aftermarket, high powered 80mm fan which was very noisy. I'd be very surprised if your laptop one did run at 6100 RPM.

I've had fans that go ~4800 RPM. Whether it's too high or not will depend on the size of the fan as well as your noise tolerance. Looking at those speeds I wouldn't have thought anything was wrong.

Not at all, that was just a stupid example of how statistics can say a lot of things when in reality there are far more factors that affect them. It wasn't serious.

Yeh i do agree with what parabola said to an extent but i just think you can't argue with that statistic.
The whole point of what I was saying was that you CAN argue with that statistic as it is essentially meaningless when so many other factors are involved.
Scotland, on the whole, consumes a lot of porridge. There are very few tigers there. Thus, porridge is an effective tiger repellant.

One thing that must be said, and isn't for either side, is that statistics on their own mean pretty much nothing in this argument.
One can say "country X has 1% gun ownership but has a higher murder rate than country Y which has 25% gun ownership" - it may well be that the country with fewer murders has different influences that affect crime, such as harsher sentences, a more effective police force, higher employment rates, whatever. It works both ways round, too.

It's completely safe. Although blocking ads is a bad thing to do. Most websites (including this one) make money to stay running mainly by ad revenue, by blocking the ads you are not helping the website.
Sites lose their chance to make money out of me when they employ annoying or invasive adverts, or advertise things that come with spyware.

Indeed, I don't need glasses myself, but there have been occasions when someone I know who uses contacts has not had their glasses with them when they've been out somewhere. Then their contacts have started to hurt so they had to take them out and since they don't have glasses handy they have to make their way home half-blind.

I don't think what you're saying about them discrediting their previous fears is right, fears are generally irrational - we all know we're not going to be bitten and killed by a house spider.
There will be cultures in places untouched by the big religions that will have a fear of the dark. I don't think it's remotely true that fear of the dark is a product of religion, or any other part of culture for that matter.
Besides, it would make perfect sense for the creators of the religions to associate evil with darkness because darkness is something they were afraid of beforehand. If you're writing a story about some demon, where's he going to lurk - in front of the fireplace or in a dark corner? So I'm positive that it is the other way round to what you said.

What do you think religion has to do with it? Toddlers who have never even had religion mentioned to them are afraid of the dark. I'd wager that the age group with the highest percentage afraid of the dark has never even considered religion, nor anything outside the four walls of their home for that matter.

Indeed.
Even if you took a name that was original in the first place, as soon as you add numbers to it it is no longer original.
Bottom line: if you have to add numbers to your name, it was never original in the first place.
