  1. Very good article, i agree with the writer by hundred percent. Exactly, there are no rules in the wildereness, and the honor is only then u are bs'ing team members, who joined recently (this is againsts rules now). You can do whatever u want and use everything, it's all up to you. i really don't want to lose my rune scimitar only for some stupid reason of beeing honorable, if i don't use protect prayer. what's against all economics in playing.
  2. Well that is really what needs to be done. No more quests, just balancing the game, making banking system split into several parts, u can name them, putting prayer sign when its on (when u are pk'ing u always forget to turn off ultimate strentgh), also adding hp meter in the top left/right corner then u are fighting( it would be very usefull, cause then u are standing in the same spot with other players u can't see it). There are a lot of things that can be done to enhance the game without spoiling it with nonsuccessfull updates. But whaever is done, i am not going to leave this game, cause i like it too much. I just want it to go the way, that everyone likes to. And older players always has a clearer vision of what they want, so please jagex, don't forget us, if we are paying the same 5 dolllars.
  3. i collect all sorts of amulets, from quests, normal ones, just all amulets, i think its pretty interesting to collect them.
  4. Well, i don't live in the UK, and i was able to make myself a member only then i got my age to 18 to make a card, because this is the cheapest and most convenient way. As for others, they are not members, cause they parents do not trust to use their cards on makin a member, they do not have any other ways to make a membership. All right, u can use e-gold, we have an ability to transfer money to e-gold acc, but that is very tricky. u need to do a lot of additional e-mailing, bank walkin' and so on.. and this way costs much more. So, maybe jagex will not find itself in finacial trouble :D, but if they start to do things more childly, they will obviously loose <18 players and their money.
  5. Well, that is actually i really don't want to happen. I am 21 years old now and still playing, i started like three years ago, and for now i don't have any reason to leave this game, still the game interface is somewhat aimed to childs, the game holds such deepness what could be realized and fully understood by mature people. If things going to change, and the audience they aim to is young kids, i think they gonna get themselves to financial trouble, cause only mature people has money and means to pay. As far as i played, i've met 54 years old judge playing runescape, he told his son got him into it :D , also some other guys, paving their paths pretty long in theirs life.. I can't say the game community is too immature for now, and i really don't want jagex to aim their game to childs. I suggest them seriously think about upcommin updates, that can cause unexpected players reaction..

  11. The problem persists, it didn't help. Thank you for helping me. Do you have other ideas?
  12. I have Windows XP proffesional, I have java too, I don't have any firewalls installed.. Do you think this problem could be solved without network administrator efforts? I saw the same problem in official runescape forums, but there were no good suggestions to make it out.
  13. Hello, when i try to connect to runescape, when it starts loading it stops at "connecting to update server". After a while it shows: Error_game_js5connect - Unable to connect to update server. Runescape was unable to connect to the update server. This is most likely caused by a firewall blocking the connection. To resolve this: # If you have firewall or security software installed please ensure RuneScape/Java is allowed to open outgoing network connections on ports 43594. # Note Windows XP Service Pack 2 has built in firewall software. If when loading RuneScape this asks if you want to allow the connection, you need to say 'yes'. # If that doesn't help then an external firewall may be causing the problem. Please ask your network adminstrator/ISP to open port 43594 for TCP traffic. If problems persist then please refer to our technical FAQ which can be found in the FAQ section of our website. What is the problem here? Maybe somebody had the same problem and knows what to do? Please help me, I just got internet connection at home and cannot play the game I like most... :(
  14. But I think he is talkin about pin u don't need to type, like bank pin, u press buttons with mouse, so it is harder for keyloggers to steal it.
  15. I tried all options at detail select screen, tried different java versions to install, none of them worked :( I am so sad I can't play the game I like
