We already have a bankpin , but they can still keylog you and get on your account even if they cant acces your bank.. they can still do bad things with your account. For example : they scam people with your account , then you can still get banned , even when its not you! Same thing happened to me. So plz make runescape more safer and make a pin before you login to your account Also you dont need to take it, but just like bankpin. If you want it you take it , if you dont want you don't.. It take maybe few seconds but its realy worth it:) If you support this idea and want a safer runescape plz post your name and i add u to supporter list -F.A.Q- Q :Is this worth it, it takes to long to enter. A :Well you are free to take it , just like a bankpin. But its only few seconds , maybe same time like you enter your login now Q : Do you think this will work? A :Yes, A keylogger cant see what u click, this is why they made a bankpin. Q :What other tips you have to prevent my login? A : Only use the real runescape site to login , or download the client. Never trust someone who make you member if you give them your login , neither believe someone who can make you a 'moderator' if you give him your login/pin. It would require a one-time addition (however lengthy) to the keylogger's code, and cause a neverending pain the the arse for players. :-s I'm getting a sneaking suspicion you know little to nothing about programming. Dont click on random links, dont give out your pass, and make a good pass so no one will guess. Its not that hard. The only reason that bank pins are effective right now is that cheaters still have some level of success with the less sophisticated keyloggers. It could be just like bank pins, scrambled numbers that have varying distortions. This is what Jagex SHOULD have used to prevent macros There's no such thing as regret. nomar04 Posted January 6, 2007 Share Posted January 6, 2007 it is a good sense of security to some people, but im afraid it won't actually work. :( Key loggers can actually take a screen shot when you click, meaning that they can see you hitting the numbers or letters that you press. they can do it with a bank pin, so they can do it with that system. i still will support, because i understand why people want to feel secure.
