When it says "Type as much as you need" how much are we actually expected to type? Paragraph? Couple paragraphs? I know it says as much as you need but a lot of people don't mean that when they say it.

Well..... glxgears now runs a little animation of 3 gears. Makoto none of that has worked and somewhere I screwed up and have just finished reinstalling Jaunty twice. Visual effects work now, the NVIDIA driver is active. RS runs but when I try to enter HD Firefox crashes, this is the only problem currently. That link does work.

Well it never prompted me for anything related to step 5.

When I do step 4 it just gives me the standard prompt line again (user@computer blah blah blah). glxgears still gives the same response as before.

Did everything thing it said. I can run standard detail now. Any way to get HD? Should probably also mention that my visual effects are not working, Jaunty seems to have a problem with NVIDIA...

64 bit. The link that's in the 64bit section, second line, does not work. Found what looks like a backup of the file http://ftp.pwr.wroc.pl/pub/mozilla/fire ... 686/en-US/ This link important or is it just downloading and installing firefox? Can it be replaced by a current version?

For those of you not yet aware I am using Ubuntu 9.04. I upgraded to Intrepid and then to Jaunty from Hardy today. That took a while. So I finally have the chance to play RS today. Well there's a bit of a problem. Seems I have the wrong type of Java, it's making me use the unsigned applet, and i do not like standard detail. Can anyone, who can load HD RS, tell me what Java packages I should have installed?

Well today I realized I'm two Ubuntu versions behind #-o I had a problem in the past where RS wouldn't run with the java my computer had and I couldn't use the correct type. Can anyone confirm that RS does work or can be made to work on Jaunty?

What about addy bars?

Are SC hammers based on the number of bars smtihed or the amount of xp? Either way, how many or how much do they last for? Also, do adamant bolts(unf) sell on the ge? Thank you.

I recently got into an argument about if it was possible to enter the Warriors' Guild with 99 attack or strength and less than 31 in the other. According to several ingame sources and to the rswiki(not the greatest source) it is possible to enter if you have 99 in attack or strength but they don't add up to the normal 130 requirement. One of the ingame sources said that there was a post on the RSOF(ew yes I know) that pointed out the problem this presented for pures and Jagex changed it shortly after. I will try to find a youtube video proving this but my computer will have to load them first -.- EDIT: I have beat you at your own game computer! Sorry did I type that? Shows him getting 99 strength and a picture of his stats and if you ignore the fuzz can see the strength cape when he first enters the wild.

For the part with the windmill, steps 13-21, a light source should be taken so the caves can be gone through without the bugs paying you a visit. Used more food to live through that than the fight with Zanik #-o
