  1. I've been using the same character since late 2001. "Stolas" - and I'm only level 81, ha ha ha! I don't play often, however, but I still have a love for the game. (And I'm lucky enough to still own some items that have soared to millions of gp in value that were very cheap back then!) Anyway, this is what the world looked like when I first started playing - weird that I still have it: That's it - the entire world of Geilenor as of early 2002! I have a larger .bmp version of the file from the offcial Runescape site of yesteryear. =) This was when there wasn't a tutorial island, and shortly before you could see other players combat levels by mousing-over them. EDIT: For the records, this is from the 28th of Febuary, 2002 - as dated on my computer at the time of saving.
  2. Hello everyone, I'm pretty new to the forums, but I've been playing Runescape since 2002 with my main character. I have some good items; a scythe, full rune, d'hide, etc - but nothing exceptional. I normally just saved my money, and never tried to capitalize. Anyway, I've managed to save up about 2.3 million and was wondering what the best way to make profit off of the money was? I think 2.3m is a good headstart on merchanting, maybe, but I'm not sure how to go about making tons of money doing it. I occasionally will buy pure essence, 1k for 95,000 or so and turn it around and make 5-10k on it, but that's a slow process. Any advice? What are good items to merchant? I put this in the P2P because it's sort of a general question, and not aimed at any specific section of the market.
  3. No. I'm not sure if it's a bug... You're technically inside the agility training area, but not past the first obstacle, which is widely regarded as the enterance and exit to the actual training obstacles.
  4. "Cheer in the Barbarian Agility Arena. Headbang before you talk to me. Equip a steel plate body, maple shortbow, and a Wilderness cape." Those instructions require you to be inside of the barbarian agility arena, which requires two things: 1) To complete the barcrawl. 2) To have 35 agility to crawl through the entrance pipe. However, you don't need 35 agility. I was able todo it with level 20 agility. If you stand in the south-eastern most corner of the room adjacent to the agility pipe, and do the Uri Emote there, he'll appear anyway, without actually being inside of the agility arena. This isn't a huge deal, but it's sure to save sometime for anyone with really low level agility (like me) who just happen to get this clue.
  5. How rare are the pieces of the Gilded (gold plate) armor? I can't recall ever seeing anyone wearing a full set.
  6. Scythe. Too bad it's such a weak weapon. Dragon Scythe - that's what they need to make this halloween! :P
  7. Which is something closer to what Aristotle put out in the Nicomachean Ethics 2400 years ago... LeVay actually borrowed more of his ideas from a more modern philosopher; Neitsczhe. He made a bold argument for going against the grain and discovering things for themselves, such as sexuality or religion, rather than accepting that of the masses.
  8. I received a clue after solving for two previous ones that asks me to wear a green gnome hat. I have searched the tip.it items database and can find nothing about a green gnome hat. What is the item and how can I get it?
  9. Hey guys, I'm new to the forums! 8-) I was wondering if there is a market for lower level fish like Salmon and Trout? I'm able to catch lobsters, but at a slow rate (only level 47 fishing). But, I happen to have alot of cooked trout and salmon and was wondering what a good price would be to sale 100 at a time.
