umm 99 in range/magic/prayer etc doesnt count there is a reason to get 99 in those skills but no reason for example to get 99 mining when an 85 miner can be jsut as fast mining rune

umm idk if it counts but i got quest cape and i didnt finish all quests for the cape the cape was just an addition because i liek questing and i wanted acces to all items/places etc and some quests have realy good xp rewards thats why i finished all

its not that i cant spell right its that i prefer not to because its easier to type with abbrivations but since so many people flamed me i stopped :)

hey i did chagne the way i type coz so many people said its annoying but i dont do that because i want people to think im smart...i dont care what people think of me unless they are my friends and most skill capes dont get you money but cost money and as i said before...burning logs till 99 fm is fun? making lots of bows and arrows for 99 fletch is fun? cooking large amounts of meat/fish for 99 cook is fun? making so many weapons and armour is fun? it may be fun for a while but for 99 in any skill you need a lot of effort which makes it not fun any more okay, first of all, please guys, stop flaming him about how he writes, he have started to write normally now ^^ back to the topic.. even though you don't find it fun to train your skills beyond what is "useful" other people might fin such things fun. Some people like to do some hard work, not only because the endless clicking during it makes it so "fun", but because the fealing of accomplishment(sp?) it gives when you are done with it... i my self get bored easily, but still, i have a quest cape... it's probably not even half of them that is "useful" for me to have done, and only a few i feel is nessesary. but still, i like to do quests, and if a hard one comes out, and i get frustrated or irritated (liike in olafs quests. Heck, that bridge was really, really annoying) i still like it becuase i then have done all quests, and i have my cape back you say that bragging is really wrong, but hey? is it? if you have done a really great achievement, like 99 herblore, aren't you allowed to show the rest around you that you are proud of having the patience to finish such a slow, and (at last for me) pretty boring skill? or is it wrong? of cource, instantly going around telling everyone is not too good, but most people won't do that... really, i think skillcapes was a really good update, as it's a good motivation for people to do every quest, or get a 99 skill, and show it to the others around you... if you don't think so, or think badly of those choosing to get an easier cape, like fletching... just think so, but saying that it's just stupid to get that cape, because it gives you nothing after level 85, or that skill won't help you enough compared to the effort. please keep it inside, as they play the game as they want to, and you play it your way... heck, that was a really long post, and i could even say more :P sorry for any miss-spelling et cetera, and i hope you all read it through :P happy skilling guys!! :XD: im sure lots of people (And dont flame me for that) dont do that for the feeling of accomplishment...im not saying all of em...im not even sayign most of em just a lot of em they do it so they have a cool-looking cape but my question --> realy worth the effort? and why doing that? woudlt you prefer after you got 82 herby train agil instead? and get only herby xp for the potion you make for yourself/sell? just for a cape? and if you want to brag why not doing it with a cape that realy makes people look at your cape and say "wow" because nowdays there are so many people with easy-to-train skill capes its jsut not glamrous any more if i saw someone with a farming cape for example i'd think for my self "w0w" because tehre are less than 200 players with 99 farming...hope you get my point :)

thats exactly what happends to me when i wear my qp cape! so many people ask for the emote its getting annoying and getting hard-to-train skill capes (e.g. agil) is something good but getting 99 in those with some many skill hunters is getting realy annoying i mean you cant walk around and not find someone with a cooking/fletching/fm cape its almost everywhere

umm im not jealous i can take few weeks and get an easy-to -train skill to 99 and if i dont want to lose any money i can even pick fletch and my friend already got 2 skill capes he said its not worth it and if it counts i got quest cape (i dont all quests not for the cape i just wanted to have acces every where and have everything quests can give me and some quests have good xp bonus etc) and about the herby you can get it over 82 for moeny or for your own pots of w/e but i dont think its worth to train it only for a cape unless you train it while getting pots of stuff like that

actualy having a runecraft is at 91 not 65 coz of multiple runes per essence and i found out the higher your str is the higher the chacnes you'll hit your max (im not 100% sure about that im 85% sure) and thats my point! y getting herby over 82? for example....tahts the point of my post -.-

umm i dont give anything free to people who jsut ask for it! i think people should work for their money/items and not ask it from others tho best thing i have given away was a fury but it was to a friend who realy realy needed to prove someone he has it and he was generous to me when i was a newb so i agreed to give it to him

Notice how I said it's good to have high skill total. Also, some people use herblore, crafting, and fletching to make money beyond the max "usefullness" of the skill. *trying to type like people ask me to* yeah but as i said before its easier to train total by raising lower skills rather than training the already high skills and i already thought about that and most people with 99 herblore or crafting gained it so they have a cape and to avoid people saying not all i repeat -most- people

jsut like u said sometimes not so much effort rly annoying when capes first cape out i was amazed everytime i saw some1 with a skill cape but now when i c some1 with cook cape or fletch or fm i just say "so...another 1 jsut 4 a skill cape payed some money on the raw food or logs" i just h8 em y not getting in sumthin that rly amazes me i mean there arent even 200 ppl with 99 farming n getting skills like 99 smith is also amazing buy i just dont like the idea of easy-to-train skills where ppl just spend a week or 2 get the capes n 4get about the skill -.-

ppl get skill capes just 2 have skill capes but having fm over 80 or herby over 82 is pointless if u wanna get a skill cape do it with a diff skill like agil 4 example 2 recharge energy faster etc
