  1. I'd say of the ones mentioned, fletching is the least spectacular. Simply because using High Alchemy you can go so far as to make money. Making money dosent make a skill less admirable, but considering it isnt a gathering skill, and your likely to be buying the logs (mostly yew or magic) it requires neither a sacrifice of money, or out-of-skill time (gathering materials to level your skill up) Firemaking dosent cost very much (as low as 4-5 mil for willow) but the less you spend the longer it takes. The skills I would respect the most would be the harder skills to lvl up. I would mention farming, but if you go through the trouble of getting a farming skillcape, you really need a life :D Construction is impressive simply because of the dedication it takes to raise the money (getting the actuall experience isnt so hard, once you have the oak planks) (and it costs like 80-85 mil) Slayer I would consider one of the most honorable, since you cannot buy it, it takes a very large amount of effort to obtain, and it shows you have a nice set of skills outside of slayer (all your other combat stats) not to mention it can be used to make a good bit of money. agility would be one of the hardest to achieve, due to the high time-to-xp ratio, but I dont know if it would be as impressive, since the skill itself isnt as usefull Runecrafting and Herblore would be respectable too, and in my oppinoin (though I have seen more of these than several others) prayer is too
  2. Okay, It seems that a lot of people have their own oppinions... However, I'd like to express my point of view. Now, the bulk of my time in the wilderness has not been for pking, but rather other things, fighting monsters, doing treasure clues ect... Now, I've come to an understanding about the wilderness that makes it the most unique, dangerous, and exciting part of runescape. Anything can happen. You can be standing somewhere waiting for a respawn, when an ancient mage comes barreling at you blasting you with magic. You can have some random guy run up with nothing but a DDS (quite amusing really, when I have torags and a whip. mind you I also always bring an antipoision as well) I've seen groups of pkers, single pkers, and sometimes people just wandering around, who just decide they dont like the other person at the green dragon spawn as much as they did 5 minutes ago. I say this not to comment upon "Honorable PKing" because honorable pkers suck at killing me. I say this to say that if you want to call yourself a good pker, and in my oppinion to be called a good pker. You haveta know how to kill people. Results are results, and the wilderness is the wilderness. There is no fair in the wilderness I would like to make this clear... The wilderness is a place where anyone can fight you at any time using whatever means he or she darn well pleases. If they kill you, then they did their job well, if they didnt, then you did your job well. I would like to also remind you "honor pkers" of something in that article you seem to keep forgetting about. Theres a Duel Arena! Its in Al Karid! I've spent quite a lot of time there! Nobody 1-items there, though it might be hard to get someone to stake all but their highest item One more thing... The guy risking full barrows, whip, ect ect... who's using up potions, and using prayer, is risking more when fighting someone in proselyte, but at the same time, has a great advantage. Thats why good armor is more expensive, its better.
  3. Nice article. I have to say, beggars are quite annoying... But usually if they keep bugging me, instead of just trying to get rid of em I'll give em a few easy tips on how to make money, if they dont listen, I tell them again, and then if the keep telling me that killing lvl 2 men for herbs or picking flax is too hard, thats when the spite starts coming... I usually just ignore them after that. Oh and yes, I seem to attract quite the begging crowd when I wear my yellow p-hat... it takes all the fun away of having such a fun hat... Now, scammers on the other hand... I hate them, and have had many an attempt on my stuff. They're fun to mess with tho, especially if they're really bad at it... ("Hey, can you come and dig something up for me? Oh no, you have to bring your party hat to do it, it dosent work otherwise") ahhaa... good times, good times... But, I do randomly give people stuff a lot, but never to beggars, only to friends. Even if they're just some friendly guy I met while woodcutting.
  4. Wow, thanks man! I'll drop you a PM if your needed! ^_^ *score* oh btw, my apparel selection is as follows: Full Black Full Black (T) Full Black (G) Rune Torags Initiates Last Christmas' drops (Scarves and hats...) Amulets Blue and Black Beret Yellow Party Hat (looks like a crown...) Diving Helmet (just looks so cool... and by cool I mean stupid, but in a awesome way) And various other small things that I dont think you'd like to go through and read one by one. So... how (or when) do I start the quest anyways?
  5. Sounds interesting, I've tried this before, but only with my clan, and no-one was active enough to really care, lol. I'd like to give it a go for sure. Btw, I'm only like 35 agility, and I've been through the underground pass a few times without TOO much trouble... tho... that very last part did almost kill me the first time. Oh, if u need an NPC for any further parts, I'd be glad to help as long as I can get online whenever u need me.
