  1. I'm going to mage the caves and I know i'm using gano for the make soak, and I have a vecna skull and arcane stream, but is pps good there? I am working on the reqs for rotm but I want to get the cape now before the rework just incase anything gets nerfed. Also, what is the strat? I've done a few times before and died on jad but that was a few years ago. What to pray on which monster etc? Any help is appreciated.

  2. I currently have full normal void armor and the range helmet. I am about to do the quest The Void Stares Back, which unlocks the elite armor. After the quest I will have the elite torso. So should I get the rest of the armor elite? should I save my commendation points for a melee helm? Should i work toward a deflector? Any advice appreciated, along with the reason behind what you suggest. Thanks

  3. I want to take a break from slayer and dungeoneering for a little and figured that maybe i'd kill some miths for fun and maybe get some effigies and drops. I want to know what equipment is good here. My stats are in my sig. Is pps good there?

  4. You have all the right stats to do barrows. What I've been doing recently is using a Polypore staff on every brother and just praying. Bring melee gear for the tunnels. I was managing 8+ trips on like 5 ppots but with your prayer and magic levels you can do way more most likely.

  5. The bunyip scroll lets you eat raw food I believe. They drop raw food and with a certain cooking level you can cook them with the scroll. Check up on that, maybe you'll be able to use that to your advantage

Yes, the Bunyip's scroll ability Swallow Whole allows you to eat raw food. Waterfiends drop many raw lobster and raw shark so bring a Bunyip for the constant 20 HP healing and some scrolls for the occaisonal raw fish drop.

  6. Karil's, ss, focus on increasing attack and strength bonus, slayer helmet of course, piety and protect ranged, if you have the charms to get it a bunyip would help a lot.

Was just going to say, I have 68 Summoning banked, should I go for it?

Guess the answer is yes, will my strat change at all in that case? (Im assuming i won't be protecting and just using Bunyip+raw fish for food)

You'll still be protecting. Even with the ranged armor their mage attack hits sometimes, and with the pray pots and supersets in your inventory there is not much room for food.

  7. air battlestaffs are fine if you have patience, buy 600 a day from the ge and stack it onto friends who can buy them for you (if applicable) then buy naff's battlestaffs (64 for you), then baba yaga's (20) adding up to a base of 684 battlestaffs a day without any friends

    you can only buy 600?

  8. I am going for 76 for the Ritual of the Mahjarrat quest. I used to craft air bstaves, is that the best method? I dont want to empty my bank on hides, but i also am only getting 64 staves a day -_- Any advice appreciated.

  9. I've never done them before since I came back from a break from RS. Are they something that is worth doing or should i cancel them? If I should do them, whats the best method to kill them? Equipment and setups? Stats are in sig. Any advice appreciated.

  10. I'm getting so bored leveling dungeoneering that I want to do something that breaks up the monotony. I want to do some PVM but that yields decent profit so I can start building a cashpile to level herb, prayer, sum, etc. My stats are in sig and I dont have that great of gear. I also just came back from a long break so I'm not too sure of all prices. Suggestions are appreciated.

  11. I am just farming herbs casually for cash, but am wondering which makes the best profit. Currently i've been doing toaflax because I have an abundance of seeds, but are there other herbs that will still profit if you buy the seeds? Farming stat is in sig.

  12. DGS requires the ability to craft cosmics & use group gatestone teleports, and we don't run larges below f30 much (59 dg). Also, 80 attack and strength is assumed as minimum combat level, although it is I believe not explicitly required. We're the more hardcore/efficient dgers focusing mainly on speed and xp/hr.

I don't know about EoE requirements but they are more casual and still do pretty fast floors (depending who you dg with, applies to DGS too of course). Quite a few people who dislike DGS do like EoE.

How does one go about joining that?

  13. I did Darkness of Hallowvale just yesterday, and I can attest to the fact that navigating the course the first time was confusing, I had to use a combination of Tip.it's guide and the guide on the RuneScape wikia just to figure out some of the directions. It would make it much easier if the directions were formatted in a list with one step per item.

There should also be a note right after the directions that after the first time it's much, much faster to get caught by the Vyrewatch, mine the ore, and run south, then go through the last few steps of the maze to get back to the hideout. Another important note is to buy the Vyrewatch clothing, since it reduces the chance of getting caught by the Vyrewatch, but if you want to get caught and go to the mines you really need to take it off.

I know it would be a lot of work, but a guide for navigating the maze using the shortcut key could be nice too.

    Also, about this line:

Talk to Vertida again, and after telling about his friend, he will offer to lead you back through the maze.

You need to talk to him once, end the conversation, and talk to him again before he'll offer to take you back through.

That's exactly what I did with regards to getting caught, mining, etc. So much easier.

  14. Step 4 of the Darkness of Hallowvale quest guide gives some instructions. If you look at the map here you need to get to the blue dot, starting at the yellow dot (Old Man Ral). Starting from the southern slums you will need to follow all the black sickle logos that are painted around various walls in the city.

I'll make a note that a clearer navigation section should be written, it could do with a nice interactive map with marked paths. I'll do it today if I can!

I actually figured it out after many tries lol. I can mark the path on a map if you would like?
