I've heard of this being done, and want to try it out. any guides out there?

So i've heard you can logout inbetween waves and your progress will be saved. Is this true? And how does it work? Do you click the "x" or do you have to actually click the logout button for the message to appear for saved progress? Also, i've seen some videos where people have just not worried about the healers at Jad. Is that smart?

I was in your shoes before, and this is what i've found out: Using someone elses bank organization usually doesn't work for anyone but them. Woah! Go figure. My advice, is actually take the time to organize it yourself. You, and only you know what you use often and not. If you are a melee kinda person, maybe try keeping an armor/weapons section really organized and worry about everything else minimally. This is obviously just an example, and someone going to 99 farming wouldn't necessarily worry too much about weapons and armor. Hope this helps at all.

Yea, I personally know how to stick to goals, but my ADD prevents me from finishing most of them lol. :lol:

First of all, you will never be training from 1-68 because the quest that is required for you to start summoning brings you to 3 when completed. ;) Theres a headstart lol. The method that I use, is I just buy the shards as I need them. I buy about 20k at a time, and then just refill when i need more, pouches are very cheap and i have about 50k stocked. This is a pretty hefty goal, so I would break it up into smaller goals. Ex. Read the Tip.It Summoning guide and read about the Familiars and their abilities and such. Choose about three of them along the way that you would like to reach and set those as your goals. It is very possible that you will get frustrated along the way with a bad streak of charm drops, etc. I do not know the approximate of how mny charms, because everyone uses different methods. I have them as a task, but I dont have guthans, SS, or a Zamorak spear(bought bandos and other items). Is there an alternative or should I wait until I have the money to buy my guthans/SS again? Thanks.

I know that what i'm about to ask might be stupid, but they say the only dumb questions are the ones that aren't asked; so here it goes. I am planning on training farming and herblore a decent amount(mid 70's). I monster hunt a lot, and do a ton of GWD, therefore needing a good supply of Saradomin Brews, Prayer Potions, Super Restore Potions, and Super Sets. The Super Sets are not a problem, and neither are the Saradomin Brews because I am a long ways from being able to make those. My question is what is the best way to obtain Ranarr and Snapdragon seeds? (I know this is a longshot, but i've been gone for about 5 months now, and am not aware of any new methods etc.) Any advice is appreciated, thanks. P.S. I am going to train theiving from 66-70 or so through the master farmer, so I plan on getting a few through that. `Vleademir

Here's the scoop. So i'm hunting for 99 to make a good amount of money. Now before everyone scolds me for aiming so high due to the large amount of people that quit, I will not however. My questions are these: Is BGS worth it without better armor than d legs and a torso? I do GWD a lot, but what are some other common uses where a DFS and whip are not more effective? Is it even worth it anymore or should I save for a SGS, ZGS, or AGS at this point, or even something else like full bandos? Vleademir

I understand your point, but it's not researched enough or thought out well at all. Blue charms pretty much cannot be hunted for due to their rarity unless you have a lot more money for equipment, or are a much higher level. Try using this guide to train your summoning through slayer, this way your not bored, strewn from your goal, and can get it fairly quickly. viewtopic.php?f=113&t=744156

I am going for 99 hunt because it seems like its my only sure option of making money at the moment. Now i've hunted chins before but i'm wondering if its worth it to use any familiars for a hunting boost, or any other neat tricks besides wearing larupia and catching imps when possible. Thanks.

Dont know rates but they are good for crimson charms and a lot for the chain. Bones to peaches is awesome there, or guthan the zam mages next door if you're using the chaos tunnels.

After the new quest I don't want to burthorpe until after I can permanantly do it, which is after I learn to make the helmet of course, so I don't want to burthorpe these. What is the best way to kill these, and which ones are the best to kill?

Should I do them, my stats are in my signature. I am leaning more towards doing the task although i've heard most people say to Burthorpe it, because I heard when you stick with one Slayer master(Duradel in my case)without breaking the tasks progressively(sp?) get longer, and with better and harder monsters, which in the end leads to better experience. ----- If you say I should stick to it, which should I kill? Yes, I must agree. Although you might want to tell everyone about your great findings, you should look into it and then keep the method to yourself. Unless you want it to be ineffective in a short period of time. ~Vleademir
