  1. thats why you always log out even if you're leaving only for a minute :shame: dont think i'm being mean though, that really stinks :( You're right, and now I do, but i look back on that and laugh now. It's hard to get far in the game without being scammed once or twice, even if its by an ogre in a cage :
  2. It's better than sitting around doing nothing in your spare time. Lol, you can hang out with friends and stuff, i can understand you play 10 hours 1 day in the summer but if your gonna play 10 hours each day of the summer, then you have probs :P. I doubt im allowed to say this, but i'd compare runescape to being like a gateway drug. When you compare it to some other mmorpgs (WoW, FFXI) it doesn't have the same high level of addiction. Just enjoy it responsibly :) EDIT: oh, and im not a stoner, drugs are bad. kthx lol
  3. Breaking Benjamin- 'Breath' All That Remains- 'Six' Coheed and Cambria- 'Good Eye Sniper/Three Evils Embodied in Love' Drist- 'Arterial Black' Nas- 'New York State of Mind/The Message' Shadows Fall- "The Light that Blinds Story of the Year- 'Anthem of Our Dying Day/Swallow the Knife' possibly my faveorite~ Three Days Grace- 'RIOT'
  4. that's actually a sweet idea. Im so sick of fletching now once you get to 85 and you have the choice, you can take 2 paths. -Scour the forums looking for magic log sellers, and make little or no profit off of them. -Do yews, which are easy to find, and will make you lots of money on the way to 99, but will be a considerably larger amout to fletch compared to magics. Myself, im doing the last 2 levels fletching mages because im starting to tire of the fletching, and because i really dont need the $$ anymore. If you opt for doing mages during any part of your fletching experience, careful of willow scammers :wall: if it seems too good to be true, it probaly is. EDIT: /on topic- Beer is good. Here's to Summer =D>
  5. When i was level 60 or 70 i finished my first clue and got a tan cav, so im wearing it while ranging the ogres in the ardy training camp. I get up to go to the bathroom, and come back to myself, now inside the cage, with 5 hp, taking 5 points of damage, and dying. The level 45 who got my cav pm'd me soon after to rub it in.
  6. How does one know how many black marks one has? I probaly have earned some myself in 2 years off and on of playing...
  7. I played runescape for 1 year, quit. Played Final Fantasy 11 (mmorpg) for a year. quit. Still wish i hadnt quit, i love that game..so i took up WoW for a month and a half.. and found it to be pure garbage. I don't have a top of the line computer, but its certainly not junk, and i couldn't go near a major city without lagging to the point of wanting to throw my computer out the window. I returned to RS last month because i still had friends here and although im way behind them now ~.~ im still enjoying myself. -WoW quests are mostly mindless errand quests from my experience, but not much is to be said for RS quests either, most of which easily completed at level 80 (Few exceptions) -WoW has a much older community, there are still annoying little kids, but to a lesser extent. -Most items become "soulbound" meaning once you equip, or in some cases pick it up, you cant trade it again, which is both a blessing and a curse. -As for graphics, don't quote me on this, but i believe WoW was created by a professional team of video game developers while i've heard RS was originally created by two teens and an advertiser? (a rumor, i really don't know, but it'd be funny XD)
  8. Same. I mean c'mon. Who doesn't love slapping people with rubbery poultry.
  9. going from 89-96 fletching (so far) ive gotten full camo, plus 4 other encounters with the sarge. my most common random
