  1. Alright, thx for the help with the partition problem, and I believe I already have partition magic so I will give it a try. However, the thing I really wanted to fix was getting rid of the bootloader. I've searched around and I haven't really seen anything that could help me.
  2. I have had this problem when I use both IE and Firefox 1.0.7 Sometimes when I switch between 2 different windows, when I come back to the runescape game, the game screen is completely white. It hasn't disconnected, or lagged either because when I switch between windows I see a flash of the game and I will still be attacking something, or speaking or moving etc. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I am using sun java, and windows xp pro.
  3. sorry, I meant I formatted the partition that linux was on. I was using the bootloader that came with linux. I believe it was Mandrake (boo).
  4. I used to have linux on my computer and opted out because I never use it, I partitioned the section of my harddrive with linux on it. Unfortunately I am still left with the dual boot option when I start my computer. Very annoying. I have windows xp so I cannot use the fdisk \mbr command. Or even fixmbr in the xp repair program to get rid of it (don't have admin password). Can anyone help me with this problem? Also, I now have this empty partition that I would like to merge back into my main partition. Once again any help/suggestions. Also, I should mention it is on a laptop without an a:\ so using a dos bootdisk, or win98 isn't an option either..... thanks!
  5. Thx everyone for the positive feedback. I really have no artistic background or any knowledge of pixeling before I did it. I realize now that there are many mistakes related to the lightsource, outlining, texturing, proportions. I happened to read a few tutorials "after" I did it. I probably won't redo it though, as I am fairly happy with it the way it is. Wish me luck on my next one!! ( done properly :P )
  6. This is my first pixel sig. Tell me what you think of it. Rate it if you want.
  7. don't draw straight lines. When is anything in the world straight? I'm not sure if you are wearing monks robes, a crafting apron, or a potato sack, so you should work on that. It is a little bit unrealistic because unless you cut the tree down then ran to the otherside while it was falling it doesn't make sense. Just pay attention to details. Look at it, make some changes, come back later, make some more changes. A good sig is edited many many many times.
  8. hmmm... seems like a complicated sig. A little over my head though ;)
  9. I'm not going to rate it, but I can give you some tips. I recently felt the way you did when I posted my first Sig yesterday. The first feedback i got was horrible, insulting me in the worst possible way. So I am going to give you some tips. More frames. More shading. Don't give up. It will get better and better over time. Look at mine, you should have seen it before, lol.
  10. so i'm guessing everyone would recomment photoshop? I've played around with it a little, but do not have it currently.
  11. thx for the input operationfl!!
  12. wow, was that really necessary? I only spent an little time on it. I don't think it reqired me to be categorized as a mentally [developmentally delayed]ed idiot. That post really showed me how immature you really are. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean you have be so mean about it.
  13. Any advice at all would be appreciated :)
  14. This is my very first attempt at a sig. I have never made one before, but I have been admiring the work of others for a while. So last night I decided to give it a try. Rate it, and tell me how to improve. This sig was made with mspaint. Worked on it last night, tell me what you think. I'm sure with a gradient tool of some sort I could have done some better shading, but mspaint is kinda limited for effects. Definitely a 100% improvement. Thx to all for the input.
