  1. Thanks for the support! I've seen other ideas for a balcony, but can't remember how they went.
  2. Well, I think that the armor displays in the Skill Hall need some improvement to make them more practical since I would prefer to be able to display steel instead of mith, addy, or rune, and I would like to be able to use the heraldic kiteshield and helm for more than just wearing them around. However, I think there should be a distinction between the armor displayed in the POH and the armor stored in the POH. Concerning the armor case, I suppose that is a viable option, but I think there should be a separate room because I think the name "Costume Room" implies decorative clothing instead of useful clothing/armor.
  3. If you read the entire suggestion, there's a little more to my suggestion than just that Yes and no. You suggested places for general armor (such as rune) for all three combat types as well as specialty armors (such as barrows). Well, they all fall under the umbrella of "combat armor", so they can all be thrown into the Armor Case, correct? And you suggested a way to try on the armor. Might as well just add that to the entire Costume room. I see your point, but I think we should be able to organize it a little better than just adding a "Misc. Armor Box" to the Costume Room which can hold anything and everything. Also, I may not have been clear about the "Armor Stands," but it's not a way to try on the armor so much as a way to display the armor you normally use. i.e.: 1. Rune full helm 2. Amulet of Power 3. Wilderness Cape 4. Rune Platebody 5. Rune Berserker Shield 5. Dragon Longsword 6. Rune Gloves 7. Ring of Life 8. Rune Platelegs 9. Combat boots Alternatively, your other Melee armor stand could be holding your typical slaying equipment. I'm not sure if other people would like that idea, but there could also be the option when the box is open of automatically equipping everything on the armor stand and placing everything your are wearing in your inventory. This could save you some time when getting ready to fight, slay, etc.
  4. If you read the entire suggestion, there's a little more to my suggestion than just that
  5. I wasn't sure if the armory should be part of the costume room or not since it might make the room a little too crowded. I haven't posted on the forums here in a year or so, so I do not remember all of the shortcuts. I will go back and edit it.
  6. I have a couple of Construction suggestions that I've been thinking about since before I became a member. I like the ability to build my own house and have extra storage spaces. However, there are two rooms I think should be added: 1. Armory 2. Formal Entrance Hall [hide=Armory]Hotspots: 1. Melee Armor Stand 2. Ranged Armor Stand 3. Barrows Chest 4. Armory Chest 5. Staff rack Melee Armor Stand 3 Levels- oak, teak, and mahogany Oak can hold up to Mithril armor Teak can hold up to Adamant armor Mahogany can hold up to Rune armor Option: "Store Melee Armor Stand" Opens a screen similar to the worn armor screen. You can place pieces of armor on the stand in each position. Ranged Armor Stand: 3 Levels- oak, teak, and mahogany Oak can hold up to Green dragonhide Teak can hold up to Red dragonhide Mahogany can hold up to Black dragonhide Option: "Store Ranged Armor Stand" Similar to Melee Armor Stand Barrows Chest: Not sure how many levels there should be, but each one could hold one more Barrows set than the previous one. The entire set is NOT necessary to store it, but you can only have a set number of helms, bodies, legs, etc. Armory Chest: 3 levels- Oak, Teak, Mahogany Oak can hold up to Mithril weapons, one of each type Teak can hold up to Rune weapons, one of each type Mahogany can hold any weapons, but only one of each type Staff Rack: 3 levels- Oak, Teak, Mahogany Oak can hold one of each elemental battlestaff and regular elemental staves Teak can hold the above as well as Mystic staves (one of each element/combination) Mahogany can hold all staves, including God staves, etc. (one of each)[/hide] [hide=Formal Entrance Hall]This room would be twice as long as the other rooms, with 6 doors, 2 on each of the long sides, and 1 on each of the ends. As a result, each of the rug options requires twice as much material as in other rooms. (note: I had more on this room when I posted it on the RSOF, but I've forgotten a lot of it) Hotspots: Rug Suit of armor (x8, 4 on each side are build separately) Heraldic decoration (2 on one end) Heraldic Banner (2 on the other end, built at same time) Rug: Same options as parlor, etc., but the materials required are doubled Suit of armor: This gives some use to the heraldic shields and helms 3 Levels- Oak, Teak, and Mahogany 3 types of armor- Melee, Ranged, and Mage Melee: Oak- requires heraldic helm, platebody, plateskirt, heraldic kiteshield, and longsword Teak- requires heraldic helm, platebody, plateskirt, heraldic kiteshield, and halberd Mahogany- requires heraldic helm, platebody, plateskirt, heraldic kiteshield, and banner Note: They can be either Steel or Rune, as long as the entire suit is the same metal Ranged: Oak- requires full green dragonhide and oak longbow Teak- requires full red dragonhide and yew longbow Mahogany- requires full black dragonhide and magic longbow Mage: Oak- requires full Mystic and any Mystic Battlestaff Teak- requires full Infinity and Master Wand Mahogany- requires full Ghostly Robes and Ancient Staff Note: Each suit of armor is build separately Heraldic Decoration: 3 Levels- Wooden, kiteshield, and shield with crossed swords Wooden- Requires oak planks Kiteshield- Requires teak planks and a steel heraldic kiteshield Crossed swords- Requires mahogany planks, rune heraldic kiteshield, 2 rune short swords, and 1 gold leaf Note: These are also built separately Heraldic Banner: 1 level- requires 2 heraldic banners, 1 gold leaf, and 2 mahogany planks[/hide] [hide=Other players' suggestions]instead of just being able to display heraldic rune and steel, allow us to display dragonhide sets and wizard robes? (thanks to ross_the_knight)[/hide] [hide=Supporters]1. Eagleman1125 2. ross_the_knight (Formal Entrance Hall) 3. drixoman (Formal Entrance Hall)[/hide] Any suggestions are appreciated
  7. I support this idea. I really think we should have more options for the costume room.
  8. [noob]But I want to get all the cool stuff that the members get without paying anything![/noob] Now to be serious: I was f2p for 2 years before becoming a member, and I can understand the desire to get more than just the free game without paying anything. However, part of the reason I didn't become a member sooner was that I was only playing casually; I took about a year off, in fact. I can see why non-members would want to have 1 or 2 more skills to train (there is a fairly convincing argument for opening flatching to non-members because that would balance out the fact that mages can craft their own runes a s f2p), but in the end, that would detract from the members' experience. When I was f2p, I was all for new skills having f2p components, but now that I'm a member I realize why Jagex held some things back just for members. By the way, I support the Archaeology skill idea. Great job!
  9. You definitely don't get an essence for every orb you bring, or at least I haven't. A few times when I was alone on my team, I scored 3 or 4 orbs, but only received 1 essence.
  10. I just posted this on the Official forums, so I thought I would also post it here: I'm sure many people have checked out the Runecrafting Guild and associated minigame by now. Personally, I think it is a great game and a lot of fun to play... except when it is 4 against 1. Every game I've played today has turned into a ridiculously uneven match between 1 player and an entire 4-person team. Something needs to be done to change this. Note: THIS IS NOT A RANT, IT'S A SUGGESTION!!! Now for the suggestions: 1. Pure Essence- How does Jagex figure out how many we receive!?! I've gotten the same number for 1 orb as for 7!! Suggestion: we receive as many essence at each altar as the number of orbs that our team scores. 2. Uneven teams- Jagex can't really say that you can't leave in the middle of the game, since you can do that in most/all other minigames. However, I think a set of different rules with uneven teams would be nice. First, the team with more players cannot erect barriers. Second, barriers erected by the team with less players last longer. Third, the team with less players can move orbs at a speed equal to 1.5x their level. Note: 1 of the above comes into play for each member that 1 team has over the other (i.e. 4 vs. 3= only #1, 4 vs. 2= #1 and #2, 4 vs. 1= #1, #2, and #3). 3. Tokens- I think that we should receive tokens for completing the entire game with less than a full team. This would be something like: 1 less= 50 tokens, 2 less= 100 tokens, 3 less= 200 tokens. This is just a pretty quick suggestion that I thought of after playing 2 games of 4 against 1; other players will probably think of better ideas. RSOF Quick find code: 24-25-407-57430995
  11. The same thing happened to me today when I was mining essence. I'm not sure why that is or when it started, but I haven't mined essence in a few months.
  12. Ummm... this is an interesting way to make money... to say the least! :-s So do you include a diamond engagements ring with the ceremony? EDIT: Oh, yeah, so what do you wear for these ceremonies? I mean, priest robes would be nice, but it would be really cool if you could get the Runescape equivalent to an Elvis costume!
