  1. Weather can't play too much of a difference since this is modern war. I'll try to mod wars that way but I may need people to actually send me folders containing specs for new units if it fails.
  2. Rocco, that interface is basically a mix of the stats interface and a move toutors list.
  3. Then they are shut down and fall apart.
  4. Earth, that requires millions of lines of text so no. Retech, I still need to know how to calculate it, scripting is just a way to automatize it.
  5. They can melt and they can fall apart, they can also be reprogrammed to atract eachother resulting in a blob so dense it'd sink its way to a planet's core, but unless the entire planet explodes you'd just end with one single replicator giant. To make it easier to understand: Nanite = Nanobot smaller than a single cell. Replicator = Nanites connected together to form a full, human form.
  6. Monster Hunter, I'd probably get it if I even bothered to buy a Wii, but then again it would suddenly not be as funny because I'd have it.
  7. They should melt, but other than that all you can do is to sever the bonds between the nanite cells. If you try to crush one you'd just squease it into a liquid-looking swarm which would quickly reform when there's enough space. And they fight like humans... except they can stick their hands into other creatures head to stun them and mess with their brains.
  8. Doesn't work that way, how the hell does snipers, tanks, ships, planes and missiles fit into that?
  9. Help me find a way to calculate war that does not include thousands of .txts and millions of lines of PHP and I'll add it.
  10. My race can live in anything but total vacuum and extremely low temperatures combined. Well they can if I can find a nearly unmeltable substance to produce nanites from.
  11. WHAT?! If I can't calculate war then I can't add war.
  12. That may have something to do with how fluorine destroys many forms of matter due to its chemical unstabillity.
  13. The year is 2012... After spending the last years researching ways to reverse global warming, scientists were put in a rush to put it on hold: The only viable option was to ban fossile fuels once and for all... and so the worlds gouvernements proceeded. One by one the worlds coal plants were shut down, abandoned and finally; demolished. But as this increased the world's dependancy on nuclear power and the threat of global warming was still closing in they realised it, it was not enough... All fission nuclear technology was discontinued and stored away in a place unknown to any political power, waiting for return if, or rather when, needed. Fossile fuels were also discontinued and banned in private operations and households as electric and hydro-electric cars began flooding the market. Gas stations were replaced by charging stations with electric outlets and hydro-electrolycis units. This managed to put the warming on hold but an unforseen event took place; world wide riots began. As the civilians were forced to give up on their gasoline driven cars in exchange for the much more expensive electric, hydrogen and bio-diesel versions and were forced to pay more for the electricity, the world was sent into turmoil. Political boundaries changed, boarders moved, alliances formed, ended and merged. As the world calmed there were 19 nations left, each with an equal part of the world's inhabitants and it's economy: -Arabia -Baltia -Brazil -Brittania -Canada -China -The Holy Roman Empire -India -Japan -Mexico -North Africa -Oceania -Persia -Russia -Saxony -Scandinavia -South Africa -The Unitied States of America -West Africa The leaders of these new (or in some cases old) nations were told to bring the world into the future, out of the still existing threat of global warming, and hopefully... into space. Rules: 1. The mod decides - his word is law, it may be disputed but unless changed it is final. 2. No fossile fules - any use of such will result in the nation being put into a riot which will overturn the gouvernement and leave it open for any new players to take. 3. No nuclear fission... yet - ^ditto. 4. This game is for fun - any actions that ruin the fun for another player are prohibited with three offences equaling ban (this may vary with the offences), please do report any such offences against you to the moderator. 5. Keep it clean - no trolling, spamming, flaming or personal attacks, rants are apreciated but keep it in PM please. 6. Discussions are ok - but please refrain from breaking rule 5, a discussion thread might be created. 7. Research is fun - research anything you want, but do keep it to a feasible level as for example photon torpedoes are just impossibillity with a fancy name. 8. Sugguestions are appreciated - I will attempt to add any sugguestion to this game, but as a heads up this is actually mostly script based and I might ask you to script it yourself if you want it. 9. The scripts are faultless - any error you might find in any calculation is one that exists in your math as the scripts operate on a simple level with standard math and purely external variables. 10. Have fun - this is the point of the game and what you are supposed to, time passes at a rate of 7 = 3652.25 (one decade each week). [spoiler= Description of the various variables and scripts I use] Population calculation - Each nation has its own script to calculate population each decade it uses these values: -Population (previous decade's population, changed at the end of the script) -Growthrate (how much the poupulation grows by each decade, in the shape of 1.**) Economic calculus - How much cash each nation gets: -Population -Economical value (a value you might affect by focusing on trade and resources) -500 (not actually a variable but an internal constant that is the standard amount of cash each person gains you)
  14. Yeah, looking forward to it, starting at electronics and all.
  15. Nothing spec, just going to launch a new hegemony and looking forward to biking to school tomorrow.
  16. Don't worry, it's only a few hours worth. It's ~1/2 the lenght of LFG.
  17. I don't think we have any other internationally known computer products/services. Also a funny comic: http://humoncomics.com/scandinavia-and-the-world
  18. First stage of education within a subject.
  19. Opera is Norwegian.
  20. Did you know chrome is the browser that uses the least cpu? Also you need to download a sepparate flash for non IE browsers. I use both FF and Chrome, both work perfect. Also try getting CCleaner, it has a function that removes all invalid referances that slow down prossessing.
  21. The phrase is [cabbage]storm, and Rocco is most deffinetely the one here who has flamed and insulted the most.
  22. And he was sugguested to replace Q in one James Bond movie, though Q decided to stay. Also he was the hotel owner in Rat Race.
  23. Ready to roll.
  24. Check, though are not ZPM powered so are weaker. Not to start any arguement or anything, but shouldn't the power depend on the amount of power available, so like one launcher hooked up to 10-20 fusion reactors should equal it? Molecular constructor ~ 3D printer that uses atoms/molecules for building. As for the gates I suspected as much, just one question; gate jumping (traveling one gate at a time) across sections would work if the proximity of gates within each of them was close enough? Also, one sniper? Like Simo Häyhä?
  25. I did not generalize it, I said I hoped he lived on a farm because that amount of pets inside a small area is not only a health issue but also hazardeous to both pets and owners. Also this is pretty much the way I speak, except I use less formal words and a lot more swearing. And another thing, try finding a biker tool who is also the "pack leader" among his closest friends.
