Ohh... I'm scared...[/sarcasm] I don't know if you already know this, but you're not invincible, nor are you frightening. To be honest you're the one who should be scared, for more reasons than you know.

Just to give you a slight taste of what 17th of May is like: http://s583.photobucket.com/albums/ss280/mather1/?action=view¤t=VIDEO0019.mp4 Poorly filmed, but what can you expect from a teenager with a smartphone and a bad location. I'm near the end of the parade and that's why there's a shortage on singing. http://s583.photobucket.com/albums/ss280/mather1/?action=view¤t=VIDEO0022.mp4 This is an hour later at a better location, but I had little time. That parade is quite a lot shorter but is for what would be equivalent to high-school seniors. It grows weirder and weirder up to the point where teenagers in diapers riding shopping carts is quite frequent. I did not however have time to film any more than that short clip. The entire point of being a "Russ" like them is to get the immaturity out of your system, it's all about being wild, drinking, partying and breaking rules... and handing out cards with adult jokes to kids. Also there's a small temporary amusement park right nearby, I couldn't get a good spot to take a picture from though. Keep in mind that this is in Drammen, with 63,000 citizens, Oslo with many times that (912,000 or 1,422,500 depending on how you define it) obviously has way larger parades and a bigger amusement park.

Uhm, Retech, steamrolling does lead to major discontempt in a nation, not only because you go all out on a nation which would undoubtedly lead to an extreme hit to civilian morale and questioning of your morality, but also because that means you are spending a fortune of your tax-payers money on deploying a stupid amount of troops just to make sure it's an overkill. Also, when steamrolling there should actually be a higher mortality rate just because of the sheer number of forces going in with next to no tactic involved. Friendly fire would be a guarantee instead of a chance.

Finally, a hegemony that fits my style and preferences. Oh, and people will get annoyed if you attack neutral nations, right?

I reckon this'll probabøy affect me the most, seeing how my powers are logically the most energy consuming. Although with the way I use it I might actually grow the mana bar fast enough to adapt. And I guess I will have to find a way to leech energy from living beings and energy-rich objects.

Mask is included in my list, Hex (Veghatermeatlover) is not because he's banned, Das, Racheya and Trip are admins and the others haven't had anything even remotely close to a log enough stay here to count as one of us, the closest ones among them are the Forum Gamers who actually came to visit because we are the ones who are here.

But they're Taverners just like us.

As far as I knowthe order is Doom (Wisp), Iey, Archi, Dusty (Nero), Sere (Andvari), Mask, Wyvren, me, Icu, Grim, Ross*, you, Rocco, Nex, Earth*, Retech*. I don't know Dungeonal (a_bert), Pieis (Stork), Trol (Spork), Rpg, Vix, Paul or Res' ages. *Age known, but may be slightly off due to unknown date. Archi, you forgot Doom and Iey.

Masochists are not opposite of normal, but being a masochist means you enjoy pain and/or harm.

Icu, I have, but most of mine rely on some research being completed. Oh, and ICBMing Rocco's ICBM silo and capitol after buying the intel needed from Grim. Oh, and masochists feel good about losing.

Dusty is the second oldest taverner I believe (I think he's one year older than Archi), the oldest Taverner would have to be Doom, whom I believe is two years older than Dusty. EDIT: Wrong again, Dusty is two days younger than Archi. Nah, you have the mind of a strategist and the attitude of a... I've got no example here, you've got too good an attitude to fit any such group... Retech has the mind of a scientist and the attitude of a strategist and Earth has the mind of a conventionalist and the attitude of a sore loser.

And up until now I thought you were one year younger than me... Well, Lynx, you're still the same age as Rocco. Nope, wrong again... You're as old as ESE2, though I could only make him get on here once. So yeah, you're the only taverner from 95. Arch, using all technobabbles on research you actually have a reason to do (plans, necessity or usefulness (upgrading stuff that you don't need to upgrade but feel that could do with some improvement)) is ok, right?

My mom used to knit gloves for me annd my sister using felted wool, they didn't scratch and you could put them in freezing water and they would only get warmer as it makes them even better insulators. Weter or not felt scratches I thing depends on the material used, I think what you were in contact with must have been synthetic.

Felt wouldn't be too unlikely a fabric for robes, it's actually pretty good because it provides excelent isolation. Though robes are often empictured as silk, for which you are shading it too dark and giving it too uneven edges.

I'm guessing 16 or 17.

That robe actually looks like it's made from felt.

Lynx, you're the same age as Retech, Earth, Nex and Rocco. Don't forget Rocco and Dusty. Ross and Icu are the same age as I am.

And suddenly I'm feeling extremely geeky. It's a good think I'm free from 01:00 tomorrow until 06:00 on Thursday, though there's 17th of May on Tuesday so I'll probably be somewhat busy then. Anyone else feeling up for some hardcore research here?

Ross, the toxicity-superconductivity connection might be due to the chemical instability which causes the extreme behavioral difference depending on the temperature. We know that materials that combust in high temperatures do so because of chemical instability, we also know that in most materials, instability is what causes toxicity. I wonder which kind of animal mind will be uploaded first, because obviously someone of political importance will deem it morally wrong to do to humans for one reason or another.
