New Report abuse - with pictures - 12K Views!
I support. I thought the other day when I was trying to report a bot, why doesn't Jagex do this. It would help me report those bots with the weird names like (I've just hit random keys to make this name up) Wzxpjhkdnv2. I like the chatbox lock too. That's very handy in the crowded market worlds to catch scammers. I was hoping someone could suggest this. I would, but I have absolutely no Photoshopping type skills whatsoever. That and your's is way more thought out than mine. Good job!

Solving the Gold Selling Problem
The best solution for this whole problem is just not buying from them. . I mean you get off your lazy butt and work for your gold. I do. Sure it's hard, but it's actually rewarding that work that you have gone can benefit yourself and other people. Not only that but if you do break the rules, you do screw around the good, honest players such as myself, plus you miss out on actually training skills what are helpful to you. But alas, people are too freaking lazy and greedy to do things by themselves. I'll admit when I first started RS, I saw on eBay the people selling millions upon millions of gold and was tempted to buy it (I didn't, mind you). Things such as this could be easier to control for Jagex than hunting down websites and stopping them. It might not work, but it also could help thin some of the macroers and goldfarmers out a bit. Why can't Jagex at least talk to eBay about that and try to fix that problem? I know that Jagex is pouring a lot of time and resources into this, but they could do a little more in the more obvious directions. I do have to say though, thanks for banning thousands upon thousands of accounts and actually trying hard to stop this (I know it has to be difficult). But back on track here. It's sad that people are making tons of real life cash by exploiting these moronic and, for lack of a better word, ignorant people (meaning children or people like them and don't forget the sweatshop laborers). I see why you think Jagex selling money could potentially help, but it still just benefits the lazy and greedy, who are causing the whole freaking problem anyway. It would just give them a safer way to buy their money, since many of those RS gold sites can give you viruses and many nasty things like that. I'd also not be shocked that a small percentage of people that complain about bots and such, have actually tried to buy money and maybe got screwed over, scammed, or banned. Just think that ALL of these problems stem from laziness, greed, and the basic principle of supply and demand. If you take away demand you have no need for supply, except for the few people that would make the business unprofitable for the goldfarmers and macroers. But it's just human nature for some to be lazy and/or greedy and just take the quick way out of problems, so I don't think that this will ever stop until this game is shut down (which I hope is not very soon). I just hope that some people read what I and others say, stop breaking rules, and don't go buy gold from other people. If you do buy gold and are reading this, just stop it. You're ruining the game for all of us!

More F2P Bank Space! [BANKSPACE ACHIEVED!]
Exactly the point with me. Every time I want to use little things for skilling like talismans and crafting stuff I have to get rid of it and buy new ones every time, which to be honest gets very annoying after awhile. I know it doesn't cost much, but it's annoying to have to keep buying a tinderbox because it's just not worth having in my bank. That and I want to be able to put ALL of my armor which includes full rune, full green dragonhide, and full wizard robes with about five different runes and two staves. The main reason for that is I want to go into the Wildlerness's boneyard without risking anything period (Yes, I know I can keep 3 items, well 4, but just in case I accidentally attack someone and get skulled out there and die). It's just little things like that, that would help us F2P's out tremendously and Jagex doesn't seem to take any mind to that whatsoever. And if you tell me it's because I don't pay to play, Id Suge (read the sig), because F2P is important to the Runescape world and without it you'd miss the thing's it provided for you [i.e. cheaper goods like yews(yes I know it's because of autoers)] so you can make the millions that F2P's can't. Thought I'd add my two cents about this topic again.

More F2P Bank Space! [BANKSPACE ACHIEVED!]
I just wanted to say that I went to get all the things together for the rally and when I went to store them, guess what happened? I ran out of bank space! So, I'm definitely attending this rally. Also, is it ok if I wear my Shade robes? They look exactly the same and I just don't have the room to store the Priest robes if I buy them.

Macroer/ New quest idea!!! Please read, help needed!
Having the Imp Catcher and Quest Point requirements is a great idea MrBowser. Like you said, writing a script to complete Imp catcher would be crazy and if you remember the imps hardly drop beads, so this wuold effectively slow all of the autoers down. I still don't see how anyone could write a script for Imp catcher. All of your ideas for this were great. Good job!

Why thank you for that. It was just my two cents and I'm glad you like it. I have no problem that you took my idea (I mean you gave me credit so...). Anything to do that would stop autoers. Thanks to you I just realized the part of my plan with the wild stuff is better than i thought. I just thought people could camp out and kill the n00bs, but I forgot about the ditch they'd actually have to interact with.

More F2P Bank Space! [BANKSPACE ACHIEVED!]
I'm glad I'll be home (At least as far as I know) for the rally. Just as long as I don't get banned, I'll be fine. Thanks for setting it up and let's hope they hear and actually do something about this issue.

I support 100%. I've just now started seeing the true benefits of yew cutting (meaning I found someone to sell my stuff too), and have also noticed the increasing flow of autoers in my favorite yew cutting areas. I mean this is one of the few things that will actually slow the surging tide of the autoers, because obviously random events don't do enough because you can easily outrun any of them. I do also think the quest would have to have some decent requirements as others have suggested i.e. level 60 woodcutting and rune axes to chop them down. Examples of items to get that would stop autoers for a bit are things that you have to physically interact with. I'd say like big bones (you have to kill a giant or run into level 27 Wildy, their choice) or planks since those are in the wild too. Definitely, at least one item would have to only be available in a store or it's something like the Phoenix F2P quest where you have to trade with others to get an item. As schmuall said it would at least double their start times. Props to schmuall for a great idea  ...now if Jagex could work it out and put it into place.

So, you want to get revenge on yew and rune ess autoers?
There must be something I'm missing, but every time I try this and drop my logs they never follow. I'm ever making sure all the yews are gone when I start. Maybe I'm not waiting long enough. Is there like a time period it takes for them to moronically pick them up?

Why are there yew trees in F2P?
I have to say as others have before...this is one of the worst ways to solve this problem. I spent about two solid months of woodcutting as much as I could just so I could cut yews and make some money. It's not far to punish the people like myself who actually worked hard to get where they are because some idiots would rather cheat then work for their money. As the post above stated that Jagex should put restrictions on all that F2P's can do because it's a "trial version," that is worse than just getting rid of yews. A lot of F2P's (me included) want to train their skills to decent, respectable levels and would actually like to have a way to make money in case they want to actually become a member later on. Sure you can become a member as soon as you start playing, but it will take too long to fully enjoy it and you'll just be wasting money. I know some members who would rather go to a F2P world to get yews and such because it's less crowded by higher level players. Also, as I know others have stated before, it would destroy the Runescape economy for both F2P and P2P. Not only would the economy die because of the inflation that would happen, many of the high level F2P players would quit because of this which would also harm the whole market. I mean, F2P's don't get that much in comparison to members anyway, so why take away the few things that still make F2P worth playing?

True...forgot about the non-tradeable point

More F2P Bank Space! [BANKSPACE ACHIEVED!]
As a dedicated F2P player for about three years now, I'm starting to notice my shrinking bank space. Just as others have said, I don't want to throw away all my holiday and random event items. I have collected them since I started so I probably have at least 16 slots dedicated just to them. Just today i had to throw away some zombie clothes because I had no room to store my full rune set. I had to do a lot of work and waiting to get my holiday and random event rewards and I just don't want to throw them away. Besides, who knows, maybe some of this stuff will become worth a lot in the future? If everyone is throwing their stuff away fewer and fewer people will have them won't they become more valuable and rare? Say I'm wrong? Think back to p-hats...a bunch people had them, but many either threw them away or lost them and now they are the most expensive thing in the game. It's because of that I don't want to throw away my holiday things because you never know. It's also fun to have an item from 2 years ago that everyone forgot and you can surprise them with it (such as the rubber chicken, something I sadly missed that year). Since I like to be well versed in all styles of combat in the game I have full sets of armor and robes for melee, magic, and range (two for range my studded leather and the dragon I'm training to use). That includes the about 5 pieces of armor, three pieces of robes, about 9 pieces of range armor, my rune long, my different staves and runes, my bows and arrows. Plus on top of that I have all my mining, woodcutting, fishing, and cooking goods that I use all the time. And all of this is on top of ALL my other holiday and random event clothes and the future ones to come. It's coming the point where I either have to become a member or have to throw away my valuables. Just giving us about 12 slots (which IMHO I think is too little, but I'd take that over nothing) as Prankster_king as so politely asked for would be a tremendous help to everyone. So because of this I would like to join your cause and help support all the loyal F2P's in the Runescape world. P.S.- If I remember, I want to join the rally on 7/28 because I fear only drastic actions or protest will help this situation (and let's hope we succeed  )
