Just asking what everyone else thinks. Not intending to diagnose myself based on a test or information page on the internett. Then no. Any reasons why no?

I somehow stumble across Autism on the net. The characteristics seemed familiar to me. I decided to find a test and see how i did. Score: 31 (Autism test) Statement test: i agree to many of them. I always have found myself different from others, not saying i probably have Autism but it feels so familiar. http://www.autism-world.com/index.php/2007/10/27/test-of-adult-autism/ (Some statements you agree or disagree with, kinda like a test) http://www.wired.com/wired/archive/9.12/aqtest.html (Autism test) So do you think i might have Autism?
  4. The clan Espada have ended long time ago. Please remove it from list or make a notify that it is no longer active at all.
  5. Letting people to choose the items to protect or G.E sounds not right to me.
  6. Very good point. You have convinced me. But guess? I still find it a flaw! hahahahaha noob!!! JUST joking dude, don't kill me! Well seeing it that way it makes it clearer. I find it unfair that Rune platebody protects over Armadyl, but you are right. I guess it would only be made worse if Jagex tried to fix it (Just like how PvP has become). No more to discuss for me. Again, unfair but it can't be helped. :?
  7. It was just examples of how that could be. I don't assume every item has only 1 purpose. I use Karil alot, and all other armoury. EDIT: I forgot. Because Karil and Armadyl is typical ranging armour, it should be considered withing death system as so.
  8. You made it sound like something or someone generated the true value lol. Well i think Armadyl chestplate should have higher value than Rune platebody, and that's why i will stick to what i said...a flaw in the system. Don't get why you don't see that. If you look at usefulness, Armadyl chestplate is more useful than Rune platebody and that's what true value should be based on from my view. Sorry, but that's absolutely not true. An Armadyl Chestplate is NOT more useful than a Rune Platebody. I can tell you for a fact that, given those two pieces of armor, and ONLY those two pieces of armor, I would be using the Rune Platebody far more than I'd be using the Armadyl Chestplate. An item's usefulness is not fixed. I know many players who would find a Rune Platebody more useful, and many players who would find an Armadyl Chestplate more useful. The only real separating factor is player-perceived value, which is irrelevant, because it can change radically. Good point, i did not see it from the other perspective. But if you view the items true value based on how good it is for the thing it is designed for? Wouldn't that be right? Example of what i mean. Armadyl chestplate protecting over Rune platebody (Armadyl has higher use than Rune platebody for the groups that use them) Bandos protecting over Karil's top (Because Bandos is more valued in usefulness for meleers than Karil is for Rangers, >Armadyl being the most useful for rangers). Get what i mean? Wouldn't that work?

  10. If Rune Kite had an in-game value greater than that of a Dragonfire shield, it would not be a flaw. "True Value" is the value the game naturally assigns. What you see in the GE is player-perceived value, which is different, and varies enormously. For example, which is worth more, a Left Half of a Dragon Shield or a Saradomin trimmed Kiteshield? At one point in time, the Left Half would be worth so much more than the SAradomin trimmed Kiteshield. These days, they're worth less than 100k. I don't care about G.E system, it won't work and i have said that many times. But tell me then, what is it that decides "True value"?
  11. Soma, DFS is more valueable than rune kite right? Dragon full helm is more valueable than rune full helm right? Tell me, if rune kite protected over DFS...would you still say it's not a flaw? Because using that example, it is exactly the same thing. Armadyl chestplate, Saradomin sword and other items true value is not considered in the death system.
  12. Rune platebody protecting over Armadyl chestplate is a flaw and i will never change my view of that. Nice signature by the way. Why is it a flaw? Items are assigned an in-game price. How players value the items, and thus how high the price is on the Grand Exchange, is irrelevant. Trying to follow these values would be utterly ridiculous, because how players value items changes over time, and often times, how players value items is dependent on the game's value. You may disagree with the value of an Armadyl Chestplate, but that doesn't make it a flaw. If you really, truly care about the item, you would take the time to analyze the situation fully before taking the item there, especially when there's a clear warning NOT TO GO IN WITH ITEMS YOU DON'T WANT TO LOSE. The system isn't flawed just because a player doesn't take the time to consider it. It is flawed because the value of Armadyl (GP or not GP) is higher than Rune platebody. The system is flawed because we loose items that we aren't supposed to loose...
  13. Rune platebody protecting over Armadyl chestplate is a flaw and i will never change my view of that. Nice signature by the way.
  14. Death isn't fair, and it shouldn't be, you should be happy you actually keep something. You have no clue what your talking about. I loose over 1.5M each time and i accept that. That's fair. My friend lost over 600K and 20M more and that's not fair. So don't be a wise guy and tell me "You should be happy you actually kept something.", it's my friend who lost and he lost it unfairly. So don't turn it around like if he got anything back. Interesting that you say "Death isn't fair". Because if they ever made it so that you lost 100% items on death, you will easily forget that. However i am not the likes of you, i believe in balance in a game.
  15. I give up, again...on trying to get you all to see that the death system needs some tweaking. My friend who lost his Armadyl platebody: Planned his equipment and system said he would keep it He went in knowing the risk that he could die and accepted that He never went in knowing a Rune platebody protected over his Armadyl chest, otherwise he would change to BLK d hide. He worked hard and fair, yes fair...for 20M and he lost it. "Don't risk what you can't risk" right? Well "Items kept on death" said he would not loose his Armadyl plate. "He could checked the alch value of Armadyl and realized that Rune platebody would protect over Armadyl chestplate", yes he could but it's a game. But you can't always expect someone to do all the work in finding out what protects over what (Drops from bosses) so that they don't do a mistake like this. Thanks all those who were willing to listen. I am out of this topic for now. I learned one thing, never hope for Jagex or players contribute to a more fair death. Will use cheap items most, not just because i can't risk items. But also because PvP have made the price of many items sky high..
  16. No, "Items kept on death" stated he would keep his Armadyl chestplate and that is why i suggested he should use it (and he should it's good to use when ranging Bandos, also great magic defence against sergeant). He already took a risk going to Bandos: Loosing over 600K+ (He was using quite cheap items) So i don't see how he should loose +20M more when the system said he would keep it. Logic, a subject which should be taught in schools. Items kept on death can't tell the future, obviously. Items kept on death didn't say he would keep those items no matter what, only that those valuable items would be kept over the other items he had in his invy. You don't seem to consider that minor flaw in your logic. That is like me going to a +1 BH world with an AGS, looking to see that I protect it, getting an ancient stat, and getting killed, while I lose AGS. "OMG ITEMS KEPT ON DEATH LIED" Your friend should have known that ACP has a very low protection value, and shouldn't have picked up rune plate. All in all, it comes down to the fact that your friend was careless. It does not make any sense that a Rune platebody (50K) should protect over Armadyl chestplate (20M)... My friend knowing that ACP has very low protection value is irrelevant because ACP should not be lost over a Rune platebody no matter what.
  17. How is losing 20M when you shouldn't have lost it (because "Items kept on death" system showed so) a thrill?
  19. My friend planned his equipment and made sure he would keep his Armadyl chestplate. But when he received Rune platebody as drop (He did not know it protected over Armadyl), and because of that lost his Armadyl chestplate. Again, he knew the risk...he accepted death could happen. But he was betrayed by the system. How? The system said he would keep his Armadyl plate, but once Rune platebody (50K item) it protected over Armadyl platebody (20M). When my friend got hit 54 damage by Bandos he accepted loss and death, but not the fact that he would loose his Armadyl chestplate so he and i was shocked to see a Rune platebody rather a Armadyl chestplate. I think it needs tweaking (I just hope Jagex tweaks what needs to be tweaked and don't do anything more than that). It's really unfair that people loose their items like this. Sounds good and no Armadyl chestplate and other items like it should reach a alch price that it will have be prioritized more than items that's not more than it.
  20. I don't understand, can you explain that in a easy language please. Ok, using your Armadyl plate example. If the Arma plate alchs for ~20k, and the Rune plate for ~40k, why not simply change the Armadyl plate's alch value to 300k-500k? No one in their right mind is going to alch it anyway when you lose millions doing so. This is much better than making this whole new Faux system and assigning each item a new alch value. Of course, with some things, such as the SS vs. Fury problem, this isn't as practical. But overall, it's a much better solution. Small holes such as the above mentioned one can be easily patch anyway. The Faux system from my view should be used ONLY if they must. But yeah i see what you mean and i agree. However i was thinking of a raise to 40K (Rune platebody is 39K) so that it would make Armadyl plate protected over Rune. But i think it's better to think OVERALL, and also a higher alch price for items similar to Armadyl plate would be best. Who would be so stupid to alch a Saradomin sword for 200K (Just example of alch price) or Armadyl plate for 300K-500K. FAUX price should be used for non-tradeable items, what do you think of that? Again remember, time is money and money is time so why should non-tradeable items which take time not be considered in "Items kept on death"?
  21. I don't understand, can you explain that in a easy language please.
  22. No, same value for everyone. And non-tradeable items could be given faux alchemy prices because THEY ARE VALUEABLE TOO! TIME>MONEY>TIME>MONEY In other words, Jagex would decide the value of the faux prices? Ok, that would help in the cases you cited, but in the end the system isn't any different than the current alch system. Might as well just revamp a few alch prices then, right? Just balace out "Items kept on death" by using for example FAUX alch prices (If that's possible) so that incidents like this this won't happen: Onyx bracelet protecting over Saradomin sword (We all know Onyx bracelet will never be more valueable than Saradomin sword) Fury protecting over Armadyl plate (Fury>2-4M, Armadyl 20M+) And so on, things like this you know? Any more questions?
  23. No, same value for everyone. And non-tradeable items could be given faux alchemy prices because THEY ARE VALUEABLE TOO! TIME>MONEY>TIME>MONEY
  24. Not just Armadyl, but many items need balance in which protects over which.
  25. Do i have to have a solution? I have no idea to be honest, only Jagex knows what is possible and what is not. I just wanted to cast some light on this issue. Will_holmes suggested FAUX alchemy price for certain items FAUX? Like take Armadyl plate as example? It's alch price is lower than Rune platebody. Let's say you add a "Fake" alch price to it, so that it protects over Rune platebody.. Armadyl platebody alch price: 36K Rune platebody alch price: 39K I don't know, make Armadyl's platebodies higher alch price or give it a fake alch price only for DEATH system. G.E won't work. It will be unbalanced because prices keep changing...and the current system is good. We just need it tweaked so that people don't loose items unfairly.
