thanks for the advice! Btw, I forgot my favorite from the other day. I was ranging fire giants for my slayer task. There was another guy ranging by the door in the same spot. It wasn't overly crowded so we were fine and had no wait for kills. Neither of us said anything until he just blurted out "U stats stink" and tele'd out. That one actually gave me a good laugh. He was lower level and I didn't check his stats but I'm guessing by the comment and the attitude he was a pure.

This might belong in rants but I want advice too! I've been playing this game for about 5 months or so now and maybe I'm naive but is common courtesy not expected at all? This happens all the time but I was killing blue dragons for a slayer task today and got into two arguments with different childish brats. Am I wrong to think that it would be nice if people moved on to another world if the three spawns are all taken instead of busting in on somebody using them? That's what I do! The first guy I argued with just waited until I finished killing like my 10th one and then jumped in. All I said is "thats rude" and then the brat went on a tirade about me not owning the spot. There was even open spots to the north (I was ranging from just inside passageway in southwest corner. The second idiot was worse. we were both up by where the two in the north spawn and he'd kill one and time it so he'd attack the one I was using before I could. Basically taking both the spawns and just laughing and calling me a noob. So the question is, do you guys ignore these people, fight with them, move to another world (after doing so to find the spot in the first place), or what? I can't stand it any more. I actually like a good argument and I'm quite good at it but c'mon people, is it wrong to expect a little curtesy?

That could be...although I just finished a jelly assignment and got three clues from that. Never get the really good stuff though. I was just thinking today that of all the slayer monsters I've killed that drop mystic items I've never gotten one! And thats literally thousands of kills. No half shields either.

just got to the slayer master in Burthorpe and say you need a new assignment.

doesn't sound cruel to me, just being honest! I'll give it a bit longer before I give up though. its pretty good range experience as they are really easy to hit. Would be nice to at least get a clue though. Thanks for the opinions!

At level 69 slayer I figured it was about time for a black mask and me being cheap, I figured I'd go get one myself. So now I've killed a few hundred cave horrors with no mask and not even a clue, I'm wondering how rare of a drop is it? Obviously they are bad clue droppers as well. They are extremely easy to kill but am I wasting my time?

so did ranarrs come down in price too? what are they trading for?

I've never done it but supposedly you can throw them at people in the dueling arena.

So which one do you think is best for building up construction? Or is there another best just for some other convenience? (teleport spot?)

Can you charge a whole bunch of them at once or only one?

excellent! thanks - btw, where is that guide to getting additional quest items like this? I found it b4 now can't find it again. It should be updated with this little tidbit as it said no known way to get whistle.

I wanted to try the magic whistle method of mining gold on Karamja but in a bank cleaning spree I got rid of mine along with the holy napkin. Am I out of luck?

This one is driving me crazy! I've lost over 100k on equipment doing this stupid quest. I'm at the end and got killed the first time I went to face demon. I had full rune, rune warhammer, lobbies galore, and prayer pots. I turned on protect from magic and went after the demon and got killed faster than I could eat a lobby! I re-equiped myself, got a nice load out and went back again. This time I made sure both protect from Magic and Melee were on. Attacked demon and BOOM hit me twice at the same time and dead before I got one blow on him. Litterally less than a second after clicking on "Attack Demon". What am I doing wrong!? I'm level 67 btw. Anybody got any rune weapons for sale? I'm all out! :)
