Okay I know this is a stupid question, but I guess I just need to know: How long does it take for a shop to restock its sold items? Does the time vary for different shops? Actually I'm trying to buy raw bird meat packs from Oo'glog, and the shop stock just didn't seem to be replenishing at all. Thanks for any help in advance :D

I now have 22m cash ... should I spend them on items like dfs/bgs/something in that price range , or save them up and get the coinball rolling on? :roll: One important note : I never LOSE money to level ANY skills . Not that I won't pay tho ... I love buying ranarr seeds and getting 50% return ... and the exp. =P~ On another note , is the Mage's Book , the coveted mage shield second only to the Arcane Spirit Shield , really that useful ?! I mean , I hardly had any chance ever to train mage in PVE situation ... #-o Training magic with damage spells simply is too costly without brawlers ... But then it's too much for one to risk 5m for just a few ( or a few hundred ) spellcasts , especially when it has no defence bonus against meleers and rangers , isn't it ? :ohnoes: I just sold mine for 5.2m , wonder if I should get one back from the Mage Training Arena What do you think ?

Yes its all offense when ever would you consider DEFENSE? :roll: Why consider defense when you're using protection prayers or safespotting? Thats generally what you do when you range. ;) it's not likely that you can safespot and pray against everything...so that makes it much less versatile than fury does and, when it comes to praying, you tell me you are gonna sacrifice the +5 prayer bonus of fury for +5 range att? :ohnoes: oh well, it's up to you anyway, just be prepared to get bankrupt buying all the p pots... :wall:

Range it from a distance using the rope bridge while using protect from magic prayer. what about maxed melee? :D

I now recall how the old wildy works - you gain what your opponent lose, rather than some randomly-generated extra wealth that should not have been there in the first place. I mean, they shouldn't have added all the extra item drops than the opponents' inventory in the first place...but since the RWTing problem is in dire need of fixing they just choose to compensate the PKers with loads of valuables viable as pvp drops...which is non-sense at all. And yes, what we need is to limit the drop value to what one's opponent is LOSING, at max... The random nature of this shall make it non-profitable for those pesky RWTers...

damn. this time I got to Jad and everytime I killed all the healers they keep coming back...wtf then when I finally got all the healer's attention on me and Jad almost done, my comp lagged for like 5 secs then I was killed. damn it. :evil: My hatred for this game rose again.

firstly my java option is on default java, although yes I'm using Sun Java secondly I know of course that people do get disconnections or errors from time to time, the point is that, if the logout system at the fight caves was intended to cause a player who have no intention at all to log out, in an attempt to avoid getting killed by tzhaar monsters, to be kicked out of the fight caves with no progress/tokkul nor stats restored, just because he doesn't have the best computer in the world that would save him from the Java platform crashing, then the whole thing is trash. :evil: thirdly, yes I put the stars on, but is it the exact word you've guessed? I don't know... and finally for mckinzy, if you're highly doubtful about my ability to get to wave 62 then I'm sorry to inform you that I've been there for 4 times already, neglecting those cases where the Java crashing occurred and I lost my progress... I got there quite effortlessly everytime except the first to be honest, seeing that I'm usually left with like 8 super restore(4) and 5 sara brews(4) at wave 62:shame:

have you guys experienced such problems before? I had, and not just once. The exact I can't remember now, but it's definitely more than 5 times, with 2 of them happening when I'm at wave 62! :wall: All I'm left with is the cursed java error log, an inventory drained of supplies, no progress saved and not even any tokkul!! Now all I wanna do is kick the b**t of every crew in Jagex who decided that ACCIDENTALLY logging your character out in the fight caves will leave you with nothing at all!! :evil:

My smithing is now 60 and I intend to level it up to 69 for the Rocking Out quest. Now, I have selected two ways of doing this : 1 making cannon balls 1.1 buy 17k coal & 9k iron, smelt & make cannonballs - cost ~ 4.1m, product ~ 6.5m, profit ~ 2.4m For this method I'll be able to get some profit as well as the smithing level required. However, no other exp gain. 1.2 mine coal & iron by myself, smelt & make cannonballs - profit ~ 6.5m For this method I'll get my mining to somewhere at 78, along with large profit. 2. smelting gold bars 2.1 buy 6.7k gold ores and smelt them, then craft the bars and sell - cost ~ 3.2m, product ~ 1.9m, loss ~ 1.3m For this method I'll get my crafting to 66, another requirement for the Rocking Out quest, but lose a sum of money. 2.2 mine 6.7k gold ores and smelt them, then craft the bars and sell - profit ~ 1.9m For this method I'll get my crafting to 66, mining to 73, and also a small profit. So what do you think? Which method is the best? And why?

well I'm not pretty sure which barrows eq should I choose for each outfit, so would you mind giving me some idea? And btw, I've killed like 50-60 zombies+skeletons and non of them drop a single piece of the Scabarite Notes...

Okay now first, a book called Scabarite Research book, and during the quest you need to get 4 pages called "Scabarite notes" to proceed. Now, the question is : will these notes still be available as a drop from the zombies and skeletons outside the Scabarite Lair after completion of the quest? If not, then by what means can I get all the pages I need? I hate unfulfillment -.- Then comes the problem of equipment upgrading. I currently have like 6m in cash in the bank and the below pics are my regular outfits in all three battle styles. Melee outfit : [hide=][/hide] Ranged outfit : [hide=][/hide] Mage outfit : [hide=][/hide] For the 6m budget, what I would not consider is rangers boots, coz I think it is far too expensive despite its ranged attack Things I'm currently looking into are complete zammy prayer bk(I have page 2 only) for ranged, master wand for mage(to max out mage attack), and whatever that is really useful will be nice Please, don't suggest any barrows just yet, I cannot afford to fix the armour atm since I'm collecting 1.5k drag bones for 70 prayer. Well to say I hardly really purchased anything with a price above 300k...except for fury and whip of coz =] they are essentials. Isn't it strange that while the dragon pl8 legs cost like 600k but the skirt cost only around 160-180k, they offer exactly the same stats and only differ by their outlook? Why is that so? I wonder if female characters are being discriminated or what?

okay that's WHY they're healing continuously... I've never really fought any of these revenants ever since I returned to RS not long ago tho. I don't really mind hardships as long as it can be overcome by perseverance, skills and perhaps a finite sum of GP =)

Lately I've completed the Summer's End quest, dying twice solely because of my old lagging laptop and malfunctioning mouse :twisted: Then I travelled to the Rogue's Castle in deep wildy to gain the extra one-time xps, by the time which I met a revenant icefiend. Since I hadn't banked after the quest and was low on health, food and prayer, I decided to beat the rev up with my fists quick. However, the thing kept healing itself whenever its health is reduced to below half, and I just couldn't seem to defeat it. And in the end I just locked up the rev and left the area. Can anyone tell me why is this happening? Btw I'm thinking about getting a fire cape for myself, are my stats enough to kill Jad? I don't have any decent equipments apart from my whip atm but I'll be making some cash soon and able to purchase better ones. So if you have any suggestions for equipment sets for me please do voice out, thanks :)

I recently have earned a Mage's book from the Arena and I've spent something like 600-700k gp on the runes spent. My magic level is now 74. Now I'm wondering should I continue with the Bones to Peaches spell, as from the ratio it might require an extra of something like 300k gp as well as up to 2 days of time for that. And on the other hand, I am also hesitating about whether to purchase the Master Wand and if so, through the G.E. or upgrade from Teacher Wand bought at the G.E. with pts in the Arena. The G.E. avg price for Master Wand is about 470k and the Teacher Wand 25k, with an extra of about 350k gp for the runes involved. However, I'm not sure whether the bonus +20 magic attack is well worth its price on the pretext that it has no supply of free runes... Last but not least, I'm currently at 59 crafting and need to get to 61 for the Lunar Diplomacy quest, and do you guys have any suggestions on which way(s) I can do it nice and quick and probably even have much fun? I was using the treasure trail guide before and suddenly notice in one of the anagrams that it requires 68 magic for entry to the basement. Apparently I'm one level below and still I tried and got inside without any boost. I also recall spotting a similar requirement written in Swan Song quest guide in which I need to speak to Wizard FrumsXXX. I wonder is that true?

not long ago I learned from other players that you can pray at the moment when the monsters attack to reduce the prayer points used. I tried it out at the iron dragons and used only like 2 prayer pots(4) while killed 20+ of them. Is there any thread discussing this tactic deeper and are there any potential problems with it? P.S. can anyone tell me why aviansies are good money...? I often hear people saying they're going for aviansies and still have no idea why these will do good...

Well I just started working on this yesterday and when I looked through the guide I suddenly spotted that there is a tribal statue for those who have completed Tai Bwo Wannai Trio to recharge prayer If that is the case, then how about the prayer book obtained during the Great Brain Robbery? Player who have completed the quest can take advantage of the infinite prayer points to cure any poison with just 2 inexhaustible items : the prayer book and the holy symbol? Just thought that might do good, as it does with me \
