  1. I'm confused, so is the I alliance closed? EDIT: nvm.
  2. I disagree if what you said is that you gotta tank better in matcheds, full outs is normaly more people on you aka, more dificult to tank. IN pkm contest, lets say you guys pulled 12 people in a war vs akel for example: in matched you tank 12 in full out you tank 25 So its more dificcult in full out see? I think what he means (and I believe he is correct) is that how you tank matters more in a matched or non-returning war. For example if you tank badly in a pkri, there will be many more opportunities. If you tank badly in a matched fight, you've put your clan down by one. Y Guy has it mostly right. What I meant is that in a Fullout if you die, you have other members to make up the mistake you did; but in Matched, you are really seeing how long can you outlast the opposing tank. If you get KO'd, especially two members in a row getting KO'd, that would spell tragedy, especially in smaller matched wars.
  3. Congratz Mori, and Happy Birthday! Your start sounds terribly close to PKM's...
  4. CWA matched. I don't have the time or money to do a pvpri and matched pretty much means that you ahve to tank to your full potential, no numbers to save you this time.
  5. This should've been in the TWR sticky. But tbh, this is such a controversial topic, I would rather keep with what we have right now.
  6. You do know that there are many clans out there who have been around for a long time, which preffer CWA over PVP? And just to let you know, I, as a player who joined after Dec 10, 07, joined a clan because I couldn't lose as much money as before.
  7. Yeah, PKM is high... up on the TWR rank list :P . And I'dlove to see DBZ snipe, lvl 103 sniper ftw.
  8. Stop Flame-Baiting, hmmm? you might want to read what your friend said post above me smart one ;) By Jenny's standards, that's not flaming. Sorry, had to say it ;)
  9. Yeah, good luck with the clans ;) . You guys should try pming their leaders, you might actually get a response then.
  10. Happy Birthday! You guys have really been quiet around these forums the past year >.>

    That's what I'm thinking of doing ;)
  12. [hide=] Why though? Think about it, if DF dies, another top clan is gone. If VR dies, NH dies, and regardless of whether that would be good or bad it would still have a massive impact. NH does not die, theres still DK/ZH, and Im sure atleast one new NH clan would emerge from that. if DF dies, probably the clan that has been at the top for the longest time dies, wich would be in other words, the biggest clan in rs history dies. I have to disagree. Just think of VR as your Personal Computer and DK/ZH as a Mac. If the PC/VR dies, the world wouldn't care because we still have Macs. Does that sound true? [/hide] No the world would definetly care, there would be a big impact, waht im saying is that I think DF closing will cause more impact, because if VR dies NH is not gonna die, there arent many strong NH clans atm, so im sure most of the remaining VR members would do another one, because I doubt they join any honor clan. [/hide] And, as explained before, some VR members will NOT join another clan, seeing that VR brings to the table a nice mix of events/crashes. Oh, and if ANY clan dies, some fo their members will also go for another clan. And don't forget there are other clans to take DF's spot. So, for the sake of argument, we have to assume that the clan's members will not leave for another clan, and that another clan will not take the dead clan's place.
  13. Strangely enough, some clans started shunning Jagex even more because of the Failure called The Jagex Cup. We really need to start acknowledging Jagex's help more often :|
  14. True, that's why I only partially agreed with Beck. To be honest, this is a balance triangle. If one gets too strong, the whole thing falls in chaos. This DK/ZH alliance proves this. However, as I said, the whole thing will fall into chaos if IA becomes too strong. If they do, DK/ZH would have a chance to close down. Where's the spice now? And again, I know some people will be happy of this.

    And people still find out...

So what exactly happened to him then?

  18. No thrill with no NH? I hope your not serious, there would still be plenty of thrill. And that "spice" your talking about, is clans not being able to have a normal, neat, clean clan fight in the wilderness because it gets crashed by dk and they have to nullify it, or it affects the result. Not to mention it ruins the fun, wastes all the effort, the preparation, the time, etc, of the crashed clans. You might find it "spicy" but I dont. But lets agree to disagree. I have to agree with beckingham to a certain extent here. NH clans DO spice up wars, and just think about how much fun Tip.it vs. Corr was just because VR tried crashing. Just think of NH clans as highway men, in real life they'd be punished severely and hated by the rest of the community, but a pvp tends to have a bit more fun when you hear someone scream out "Oh (bleep), DK!". Tbh, not everyone will agree with me, but I know some will.
  19. Although I am not a DF member and I was the one who mentioned them, I'd shut up. But, for a TWR clan, they are one of the highest pulling clans in the ranking, I think, it's been sometime since I've last seen a TWR war.
  20. Well done corr, too bad you guys dont pull 100 people anymore :(
  21. A.L.I.C.E can do just that :D http://www.pandorabots.com/pandora/talk ... d97e345aa1 I've seen better, though that one was decent ;) All it does is repeat what I say really. But I also heard of instances of Jmods coming out and complimenting clans, pretty sure it's Mod MMG trying to make us feel more special and make them look more welcoming. Be careful, my men, this is a conspiracy!
  22. Hm, I might join once if I have a rune set to spare. The biggest problem with this alliance that I have though is that spies can enter with ease.
  23. Personally, I believe that the reasons you stated about why smaller clans don't want to pvp, are really minor factors. I, personally, am one of those people that oppose pvp wars, and about 40% of pkm does also (there's a poll up about it on the forums). The main reason? I have no money. How the hell am I supposed to make back 5 rune sets/ week (sometimes more), when my best moneymaker as an F2Per with 75 mining is gold ore at 75k/hour, and I only play about 2 hours of rs a week? Top 15 clan are, I have to agree, the funner alternative, for people who want more adrenaline pumped in their veins. However, the smaller CWA clans are there as a viable and more affordable alternative for the casual player. This is really like sky diving versus, say, video games. The adrenaline from sky diving is pure exhiliration of "I know I will die soon, I am falling down at 200 km/h to my death". However, many people value their lives and go for a less risky alternative in video games, where you act like you will die, but you are not. Oh, and I forgot to answer your main question. Which two clans have what it takes? If you mean this "community", I am assuming that you mean clans in the TWR. The first clan that springs in my mind to have enough loyalty and members to do pvp fights is Downfall. I have a friend who is in the clan, and he told me that some people in the clan are pushing for more pvp wars. They already war a hell load in CWA (that's why they are the top clan in the TWR), so a couple of rune sets a week would affect them the least. No other clan in this community would spring in my mind as being pvp worthy. And I dont believe it will affect the clan ranking system. Many of the clans have shown their strengths in the CWA, and dont need to prove their power in the wilderness.
  24. Pretty nice ML you've got there, gooid luck with your wars ;)
