If she succeded in taking the business, we lose our biggest asset. She tried to ruin us, and she got bit in the [wagon] for it. Like I said, I agree that she was in the wrong. However, planning to burn down the house if you had lost the case? Viciously trying to ruin her after you won? I would definitely call that extreme. :mellow: I'd even go so far as to say that it's childish ("If I can't have it, then nobody can!"), to be honest. Revenge and petty hate don't solve anything. Nonononono, we won, so we didn't burn it down. But the point is that she was ONLY with the guy so that she could take it. She didn't deserve the business/house/cash, and legally it wasn't hers, so why should she have it? She was a bad person, and she wasn't going to get rich because of a lie she told everyone. It wasn't. "if we cant have it nobody can", it was "the dishonest [bleep] sure as hell isn't getting it".

My grandpa had built an amazing house in Montauk. When he died, his girlfriend, who was basically just with him for the money, tried to claim that they were married, and that the house, the business, and all his money, be given to her. My dad and uncles were not happy, and they took her on a nine year court case. Her argument was based on a stupid Georgia law that said that if a couple stay in a hotel room together, they're married. Though my family eventually won the case, they had decided that that wasn't enough. They wanted to ruin her life for what she did. They ended up counter-sueing, and while I haven't heard the exact details, she had to pay for the entire case, including lawyers. She has never been able to live comfortably since then. Anyways, they told me that if she won the case, they planned to burn the house and business to the ground. Even if she won, they had decided that she wasn't getting a thing.

Today I went digging in my basement and found a bunch of my old Rugrats tapes from 1996 :thumbsup: I was a little surprised though. You know what else daddy bought for his sweet 2-4 year old son to watch? Terminator 2, Apocalypse Now, and Die Hard.

I decided to go to /x/. For those of you who don't know, /x/ is the section of 4chan where people post scary stories and pics and such. Today, as I was browsing it, I saw a still sh*t brix picture. It was too small, so I opened it up. As I stared down the dark corridor in the picture, I just couldn't find what I was supposed to be seeing. As my eyes saw the title of the pic, an impulse went through my brain. As of now, I am absolutely convinced this is the same impulse a soldier feels the moment he realizes a grenade has just landed next to him. And as I saw this title, this impulse screamed through my mind. GIF!!! I X'd out of that window faster than I ever thought possible.

Hey guys. I just wanted to know if anyone had some tips that could help me. I moved to my current town in 2006, and I haven't seen my old friends since then. I'd really like to get backin touch with them, but they've done a damn good job of making themselves elusive. There are so many factors in my way of finding them. 1. Finding their name. They have to have the exact name I search, all while being in the specified town. The problem is, most people only post their locations for friends. And also, no offense intended toward ANYONE, but the area I lived in... lets just say names like "Lopez" are a dime a dozen, making it very difficult to find specific people. This applies to dozens of last names. 2. They need to actually have a facebook account, and I have no way of knowing who does and who doesn't. 3. They need to have a picture of themselves as a profile. Most don't. The ones that I suspect of being who I'm looking for, I haven't seen them in four years! I have a yearbook from about three years ago, and I've been searching for everyone, but so far, no luck. 4. When I find them, there's no guarantee they'll even accept my request. As I said, any advice at all would be very much appreciated. If a mod feels this should be merged with real life help and advice I understand.

People need to get over the swastika, at least when it's used in a pic like this. To remove it from anything would be to remove a piece of history.
