Alright, then we would have to find dates for the other 2 groups.. It could take a while to finish the tournament, mainly for the dates, but that wont be much of a problem I think.. Cause the round system would get a bit different I think.. Would we do 3 1 to 1 battles as the first round, where you, Nads, Eccentric , Vlad, Demoris and me battle? Or will we do a group stage? With all us 6 in there..? Or 2 groups of 3? Id really like to hear your idea on this.. Thanks for helping :)

Yep, I dont have any cash left over in rs, so Im gonna sell some signatures. Im making about 8, all for 50k each, which will equal 400k. Which will be enough for the Tournament prizes, 300k for first, 100k for second. So, if you want to buy a siggie, please specify what details you want on it. Ouch, now that sucks :shock: thats about 24 days right? Right now, its the 24th, in 24 days it will be the 18th... Which will be during the tournament.. :shock: I cant do it after you get back, because It could well take a month, as you said. Yes, 16 was optimistic, I realized that. The thing I pmed ForsakenMage about, was a custom rank as the first prize, but the mods/admins did not agree, sorry guys :( Ill do my best to get some cash for the first and second prizes together. Stock Images are now not allowed, as vladmoney said, it would be unfair if someone found a great stock photo, and won the tournament. I have to set the player limit to 10 I think, bt Id have to reform the groups, Im thinking of changing the rounds to: 5 1 to 1 battles, and every winner goes on to the next round. Those 5 contestants will be one group, and the first 2 go on to the final, then they battle eachother, and whoever wins, wins.. About the 5 judges, good idea, I will pm 5 or 4 people who I think are suited to judge here, and dont enter the tournament, to ask if they want to join. Lets see, did I miss anything? Oh, adding the names now.. *edit* Oh yeah, the tournament dates. Well, I guess every round will be given 2 days, is that somewhat okay? Except the second round, which would actually take 5 days, because there will be 5 battles. I know, 5 days after eachother might be a bit hard to keep making great sigs, but you will have to try... The final would take 1 day as well. This means it would take a total of 8 days. It would total 6 signatures made by each person. Now, we have to find a good date for this.. Ryan is out of town untill the 29th. If we would start the 30th, which will then be the first day of the tournament, and the tournament takes 8 days, we would end the 7th. Which means if Keiphus would be in the final, he would miss it. So, we cant use that date. We cant start any earlier, because of ryan going out. So, lets say, the 13th? 13+8=21, the 21st of july would be the final. Is everyone ok with that date? Im gonna adjust the round system now.

Oh, yes, sorry :wink: Good point, I think it would be the best idea to reset the points every round, because if a person gets the second place in the first group round, he has less points then the first one, and if they would meet in the final round, he already has a disadvantage, that wouldnt seem fair, because he might just be better, and had back luck in the first round. So, yes, they will be reset each round. Unless someone can come with a good reason why I shouldnt reset them every round that is :wink: *EDIT* Oh, and I recently pmed ForsakenMage, about the prize, I wont tell my idea yet, but I can assure you its nice, if she and the other mods/admins agree with it. :wink:

Keiphus, there will be actual themes, no style restrictions, as that would not be fair, as a good artist can specialize in one certain thing, so dont worry :) Azvareth, alrighties, added the names now.

Yes, the first round is an open theme, but with the restrictions that it has to be self-made, with teh exception of stock photos, I think I have to put the limit to 2 there. The second and final round are within certain themes, because the weaker artists are already out of the tournament. Ah, forget about the pms, as nobody seems to do that, its ok, ill just look through the posts. :)

I decided to organise a tournament. It will be a signature contest, with the goal to create the best signature here on scapeboard. This is the set-up: First Round: 1 to 1 Battles. The winner of each battle goes on to the next round. Second Round: Group Round. In this round, there will be a theme. The 5 left over contestants are placed in 1 group, and all battle eachother once. When a person wins a battle, he/she will be given 3 points, if its a tie, both get 1 point. The first 2 of the group go on to the final. Final Group Round: The final round. Ofcourse, the remaining 2 people battle eachother once, and the winner wins.. It would be nice to give this winner a price, but a I gave away everything on my account, I dont really have anything to hand over. Im trying to get some cash or items from some of my friends. Well, changed to 10 contestants, which we now already have, with one possible draw-out, if that person cant be there at those days, I will enter it myself, and ask another person to Judge instead of me. If you have any suggestions for the Themes used in the second and final round, please pm me. Common Sense Rules: 1.You have to make everything yourself, no ripping. Stock Images are NOT allowed. 2.No flaming at someones sig which he or she entered. 3.Sigs size has to be within scapeboard limits, not bigger. Smaller is allowed ofcourse.
