The ending is kind of dissapointing. The devs always have great gameplay ideas and they know how to generate strong atmospheres to suit the ambient, but they never get the endings right. I'd say the best parts are the Inner Study, the archives, and the prison. And wits, is that the movie with Kiefer Sutherland? If so, I watched it not too long ago, thought it was kind of bad. Went off tracks after around 45 minutes. Now, Silent Hill origins... I Played it when I was like 14, made me think twice before getting close to mirrors for a couple of days. Looking back, the game wasn't so great compared to the old Silent Hills, but if it's your first one, it should do the job.

Pretty much this. I love rain and storms, but when I get them I hardly pay attention to them. It seems I enjoy them more when they are portrayed as an element in an ambient, such as movies or vidyagames. Completely unrelated fact: Sometimes I wish I could still fear like I did when I was a kid. I always loved the thrill fear generates. A powerful feeling, both physical and psychological. It just doesn't happen anymore, which makes me sad. I'm trying to think of some horror books to read before bed this winter break. Any recommendations?

I've been playing some Crysis, Assassin's creed 2, modded Stalker: SoC and Amnesia. Feels good to finally have a decent PC. Any reccomendations on games that came out later than 2007? I was thinking of Metro 2033.
