The problem is laptops can't really be upgraded that easily like desktops can. To replace things like CPU and graphics you'd have to buy a whole new motherboard for the laptop, so you may aswell just buy a new one. RAM and Hard drives aren't such a problem, though they can be a pain to do on some models. Uhhmm... I'm not sure on a budget, I was hoping to get a few suggestions... Like lets think of this as steak, on that is rare, medium rare, and medium. Rare being the best of course. :) So a top price then one below it then an average-ly priced one :P Thanks guys... Btw... Does this Laptop fit the bill for a Entertainment/Gaming laptop? I'll be using it a two houses, but more so at my mom's house, so I think I'll buy a powerstation/keyboard/mouse, and then just use it as is at my dad's house... Do you think this laptop will get cheaper for Father's Day? What do you rate it? Thanks :D

Agreed. Keep the flamethrowers on the one-hit kill zombies on Halo 3 please. :P How would we design this island. Start with a docking area, and then a path to the center with a main infrastructure and a tall tower, with a large bell, to alert the people who inhibit the place.... and eventually opens up like when pac-man dies and spreads open? ~Knotch

Of course, what's your title? And, I agree, we should try and capture as much non-renewable resources as possible, and running a communications system off of it, but using wood burning stoves etc, so we can maintain comms with the outside world. ~Knotch

Of course. I had another thought, we should make a few teams of about 7 to send onto the mainland and begin to "colonize" and gather supplies, but also build walls. Anyone read "Alas, Babylon" By Pat Frank, provides a good basis for an apocalyptic scenario. ~Knotch

Just come up with a position an propose it and see what the general consensus is. :P We need a mechanic and repair man, if your any good with your hands you can repair guns and possily help build shelters. Nah, I suck with my hands. It's why I suck at Technology class lol. Can't I just be the insane guy who keeps on screaming out false prophecies or something? The town... fool? :XD: Well, at doomsavenger... Of course everyone should have a basic understanding of firearms/combat/first aid/wilderness survival, but at the start, there would need to be the "masters" to give classes and calm the insane. I think there should also be a small team of police, the most trusted group of individuals of our battalion, I imagine a lot of cabin fever erupting...
