Runescape Revolves Around Us Everyday
As popular as his support becomes they'll never ammend the constitution to allow a foreigner to become president. Not the forum to discuss such a thing tho. My friends momplays and shes 60. Her grandaughter plays and shes 8. I play and Im 28. THere is something for everyone in this little game which is why we all play.

views on farming?
AS people have warmed up to the only puroses of the skill, herb farming, the effects have been bad for Herblore pot prices. Super restores, which used to sell for 10k ea you are lucky to get 7.5 k which is about the same for the lowly prayer pot. I wrote a Herb farming guide that I will not be releasing to the general public which methods I have been using for sometime now with great success. Thanks for this thread. I must say I like farmig alot as I can log on and do what I do in 10 min then come back later. But I wish it would have remained a hated skill so those that like it could make more money from it.

Sorry i wasn't thinking right.
Only Emos quit when they lose an item. I had yellow, red, white, and blue party hats at 1 point. Sold them all...the highest, blue for 10 M. I was stupid and kept slaying past 85 instead of Abby camping, and gave whips to friends for a very cheap price. You have the best money making skill in the game. Just a little effort and you could have enough money back to rebuy the lost item. Starting a new pure will just leave you with less time and a bitter taste in your mouth. Keep truckign on x runes and you'll eventually recover. The scamer will get his some day if he keeps doing such bad things to his friends.

To burthope or not to burthope....
buthorpe all metals. 1 mistake with gear or lag can wipe out any potential profit you think you might get from them. Not time or cost effective at all. Some of the slayers in my guild think otherwise. But I myself skip all metal drags.

On Permanent Death
Diablo 2 Hardcore is the only game I know with permanant death. It intrigued me and I was addicted to it having played many characters and variants. t used to be insanely easy to level up a new character becasue you could rush a character to hell an level em upin the cow level of hell. This has been fixed and it is now harder to cheesily level but if you get with a good group the xp can add up fast. Coming from DII hardcore to Runescape I was at first let down by the respawning after death and the seemingly turn based combat, but where DII failed (1 race, limited choice in skill developement, and monotany) Runescape Excels (Train all skills of your choice, constantly updated gameplay, and variety). Permadeath would be self desctructive for jagex as a company so I doubt it would ever happen in this game, but the concept is attractive to people who take pride in their characters and enjoy the challenge of keeping their pixelated selves high with the threat of permanent death looming. Best player on tip.it?
This is a question that can have too many answers. Technically it would be the player with the best stats that post here so you'd have to logically say Zezima and N0valyfe. But for overall best person I have met in the game who I wouldn't have met if not for TIF I will have to say without a doubt Laikrob. :3> :3> :ohnoes: :3> :3>

Slayer - Just say no

17 October 2006 - Capes of Achievement... and Goats!
I was annoyed they showed our emote for slayer in the KB. With it being arguably the coolest and one of the rarest I didnt want everyone to be able to see the emote easily from Jagex. Grats on your hot cape. Join TSG so we can get like 20 99 slayers in one place for a photo op some day. Slay on, Axe

Not allowing us to build anoter room to our homes is a sin. Very bad planning to give us a new room and not increase the max. Shame on you jagex.

What do you think the most respected 99 cape will be?
Well technically you can buy hundreds of thousands of cannonballs to make it much easier/faster. But yes, it still takes time. If you weren't lucky enough to have rares to trade in for cannonballs, cannoning all tasks is less and less affordable. Anyone trying for 85 much less 99 slayer today without disposable rares for ammo will have a long and hard goal ahead ofthem. Even if they have all the knowledge to efficiently slay them. Also even if you have money, cannonballs only speed up tasks by 20-30 minutes and in the end no matter what you put in much more effort than many other skills on your way to the 99. You guys are definately taking what I said the wrong way... I'm not saying that being able to spend money on cannonballs will get you 99 slayer in a month.. Because I know that's not going to happen. I'm just trying to throw out the idea that there are minor ways in which large amounts of gp can increase the amount of xp you get per hour. As previously said, the skill is not completely buyable.. It does require a lot of time and effort. But having a lot of gp to buy cannonballs with can definately speed up the process. No, its just that its always the average statted low levels who run off at the mouth who are trying to claim that our skill is less impressive when they have no idea how much effort went into it. Other than Zezima, who is a beast, nobody else dared continue on with slayer once they got 85, as the whips were just too profitable. It took almost a year and a half for people to start maxing the skill. Me personally, and I only cannoned when I could afford it, it took me a LONG time to max the skill. It definitely isn't buyable as you are letting on. I wrote the book on it and the only slayer tasks that are overly affected by a cannon is Dagganoths, and Kalphites. For all my other suggested spots it is just some additional luxury but in the end really doesnt speed anything up to the point where it becomes effortless, or in your words, buyable. Those that earned it don't really like a low level telling them that they bought their levels. The more you talk, the more noobs believe you, and the more people will be unimpressed because some eloquent low level said it was a buyable skill on Tip.it. The only impressive totally buyable skill will be Prayer. The impressive unbuyables will be Slayer>Agility>Mining. Any skill cape, even fletching, will be an awesome display and Im glad they are coming out. Instead of sticking your nose up at certain people for whatever reason, appreciate that they put in the time an effort to attain the highest level for whatever skill they display. \

Would the new capes compromise the fire cape????
RIP firecape. Any level 80 with decent range and prayer can get a fire cape. You wont see a level 80 wearing a 99 slayer cape. No jad for me...bwa- hahah- hahahaha

wat skill cape u want most?
On a low level the quest cape would be awesome... on a high level slayer is the most impressive. Most high levels no lifed ad bandits to get their levels...many wont have the slayer cape.
