  1. This probably doesn't belong is the tech section, more like general help and advice. Google 'PC video recorder', see what it comes up with.
  2. I prefer the long myself, but if I want to hit high numbers and look cool, the b axe.
  3. They are illegal - world switching programs or programs which click for you are illegal, and many of them do have keyloggers and other spyware associated with them. This may need to be locked however, not sure about the policy on asking these kinds of questions.
  4. The only IBM I could find was the IBM ThinkPad A31 IBM ThinkPad A31 Drivers <- this is a direct link to the searches for the ThinkPad A31 drivers. Good luck.
  5. You may want to try to clean out your browser cache - I'm going to assume you are using Internet Explorer. Tools>>Internet Options>>Delete Files (check the box too)>>Ok Now, reset your browser settings From the Internet Options box, click the Advanced tab, and choose 'Restore Defaults', click 'Apply' and 'Ok' Restart once again, see if that helps.
  6. Depending on the computer manufacturer, it could be printed on the front, or on the back/bottom on a sticker.
  7. If you have just the normal firewall working, I would tell you to try to re-run network setup. Start>>All Programs>>Accessories>>Communications>>Network Setup Wizard 1. Click Next twice 2. If you have DSL/Cable, click on 'Other' and click Next 3. Click Next three times (default input) 4. You should be on 'File and Printer Sharing' - click next again (off by default). 5. Click Next again. 6. Choose 'Just finish the wizard...' and click next. 7. Click Finish If it changes something, you may be asked to reboot - you need to reboot before you see any changes. If that does not work, post back again and we'll try something else.
  8. What kind of computer do you have? DSL/Cable/56k Windows XP/2000/ME/98/95 Are you running any firewall software at all? Zone Labs firewall, BlackICE, etc.? Thanks for the additional info.
  9. You need a 3rd party application to do that on Windows XP. No, he is saying create an extra account on your computer so you could keep a completely different screen resolution on his rs only account. The other would be set for browsing etc. However, I believe that would be too big of a hassle, especially if you like to browse the forums and play at the same time.
  10. No offense, but if you uninstalled your disk drive, windows 2000 would automatically install the default drivers upon a reboot. You would have to take no action to install the disk drive, if it is not working, it is most likely a hardware failure and not a driver issue. If you have a computer made by a large company (dell, gateway, hp, compaq, e-machine, etc.), you should be able to find the drivers for your computer via their website under the support section. Just type in your computers' model number into the search support.
  11. 82 is correct. Stick with the mossies for a bit though, lessers take a lot more food (make sure to bring a lob cage and stuff to start a fire)
  12. Iron gives 35 exp per ore mined, and is great exp. I mine outside of yanille and normally bank the ore. If you don't want to bank it, mine in SE Varrock, and let the newbs be runners, saves you from dropping it and they like the free ore.
  13. Has this been an ongoing problem? Or did it just start. If so, did you by any chance have a problem with bad weather in your area (thunder storms etc.) and is it on a surge protector Also, how long have you owned the computer?
