Thing that makes me lol with these weapons:
Release 15 weapon sets to cover all the bases for cosmetic weapons in tandem with the weapon keepsake boxes.
Only let us have 1 mh or 2h and 1 oh keepsaked...
Seriously you MADE THE WEAPONS TO BE KEEPSAKED did you not realise when doing this how many keepsake slots we SHOULD have had?
Lol I called it. I'm still debating keepsaking my ABS because CS is ugly as hell.
CS is pretty ugly, but I can't imagine the Armadyl Staff being my first choice to keepsake. Ahrim Staff is way cooler, imo. As is Lightning Staff if you have it, or just regular old elemental battlestaves. A Necromancer staff would probably be my #1 pick. They have sweet particle effects, and...well, look at that thing. It's badass.

What about Pandora's box for random events? Anyone build one of those?
Random events are still limited to one a day, so it's pretty bad. You only really want telescopes, jade statues, or parrots. And once you hit the endgame, you don't want telescopes.

I think it's weird they've made a part of it F2P, because F2P doesn't contain any quest or lore containing the gods.
Yet. :-#

Could someone make aligment chart for god? Is this one good?
Lawful Good - Guthix
Neutral Good -
Chaotic Good -
Lawful Neutral - Seren
Neutral - armadyl
Chaotic Neutral - Zaros, Sliske
Lawful Evil - saradomin
Neutral Evil - Zamorak
Chaotic Evil - Bandos
No. Your Zamorak's not in Chaotic, your Armadyl's not in Lawful, your Saradomin's not in Good, your Guthix isn't in Neutral, and you've put Zaros as Chaotic. :notalk:

Zarosians are a bunch of dickriders. He doesn't care about you. He'll throw you away once he's done with you. You're "siding" with the "god of control", remember? He's using you. Besides, "empty lord", "god of control" and "I like purple" are all we really know about him. You don't know his ideals, you don't know his plans for the future of Gielinor.
You're praying to a god just because he's cool and mysterious. Maybe if he was in a boy band, sure, go ahead. But this is serious. This is the fate of the world as we know it.
What have the other gods ever done for me, huh? Are they giving me area-of-effect freeze attacks and huge combat boosts? Are they providing me with the #1 best armour sets in the game? No. Zaros is hands-down the god whose patronage has been the most rewarding.
The other gods want pawns. Zaros isn't interested in pawns. He wants queens. That's why he runs a streamlined operation with just a small team of powerful, loyal allies: quality over quantity. If you're one of those lucky few in his inner circle--which, if you've done any reasonable amount of questing, you are--you get to reap the rewards. It's a mutually beneficial arrangement.
He doesn't want war and destruction or whatnot. He just wants to win the Iron Throne and rule all the Seven Kingdoms (and kick Zamorak's ass). Azzanadra and Wahisietel are pretty cool guys that I certainly don't mind teaming with, either.
- Godless: All five colors. They don't claim allegiance to any one philosophy, and believe mortals of all corners of Gielinor should band together to drive away the gods.
reminded me of my sunburst deck from years ago lol
I'd go more with the Gateless rebel movement among the unguilded citizens of Ravnica.
If we just stick to Ravnica guilds:
- Saradomin: Boros
- Zamorak: Rakdos
- Zaros: Orzhov
- Armadyl: Azorius
- Seren: Selesnya
- Sliske: Dimir
- Bandos: Gruul
- Godless: Gateless
And the player character would be Jace Beleren.

Have we done the traditional assigning of each god to Magic: The Gathering colors with this new info?
- Zaros: Black-white. His ultimate goals are power and control. Black wants power, white wants control. Ghost Council of Orzhova.
- Saradomin: White. Saradomin is a different aspect of white from Armadyl--the kind of white that wants to destroy all evil in the world for the sake of the greater good, not afraid to get some hands dirty if it means taking the fight to the enemy. Very white goals and very white methods. Lightwielder Paladin.
- Armadyl: White. Strong focus on the justice, law, equality, and order aspects of the philosophy. Aurification.
- Seren: Green. Nature goddess, natch. Her philosophy fits with green's ideals too, though, with an emphasis on living in harmony with others and with your surroundings. Asceticism.
- Zamorak: Black-red. Very red means (chaos and destruction) to very black ends (self-interest, dog-eat-dog stuff, gaining strength for oneself). Rakdos the Defiler.
- Sliske: Black. He's out for himself and doesn't hesitate to do whatever it takes to win. Altar of Shadows.
- Bandos: Green-red. He wants everyone to duke it out and may the best man win (green). He does this by riling up his followers and inciting them to war (red). Gruul Ragebeast.
- Godless: All five colors. They don't claim allegiance to any one philosophy, and believe mortals of all corners of Gielinor should band together to drive away the gods.

*reading Book of Bandos*
Wow, Bandos is a douche.

Agree or disagree: Tetsu will be the most valuable set because 90 fishing is the hardest of the skills to get.
-
So yeah. I don't get why this isn't F2P. I mean... seriously?
-
A skill based on lore? FFS thats the last thing I want
Surely then you'd need quest points, meaning not everyone currently would have full access to it, only those I'm assuming with max QP.
Well a lot of the lore happened in the past.

Divination seems like a great idea for a skill. I always love drawing two cards.

<Zamorak hat>
Don't kid yourself. Even if it's WWII, you're the Nazis. How many people have you murdered on a whim? Level 2 Men minding their own business? Guards trying their best to defend the city gates?
If you're going to kill innocent civilians for no reason, I'm all for it. But you should own it. Be proud of your bloodlust.
Don't be a hypocrite. Vote Zamorak!

Also Saradomin is not the 'good' god or the god of law. His ethos is Order - order has to be created and maintained by force or perceived force at least.
<Saradomin hat>
The God Wars are like World War II. Saradomin is the Allies. Zamorak is the Nazis.
Both sides killed a lot of people and a lot of civilians. But is that really worse than what the Nazis would have done if they had gone unchecked? Guthix would have you stand by, neutral, and quietly let the Zamorakians perform their atrocities.
If you don't want Hitler to win, vote Saradomin!

(15 from it atm, 5 if the mission succeeds)
You should be using a merchant to get 13 instead of 10.
-
realistically this wouldn't have been possible as it wasn't being trackedWell, any sprites you've previously caught will not count towards the 1000 count required for the enhanced stick.
Still not as bad as the initial Castle Wars fiasco though.
It was being tracked.
-
I am surprised that they didn't change the mechanics of capturing them. You should be able to do it in one click instead of having to click the thing on the ground. I mean, what else are we going to do with it if we just shot it at a bush? Just detonate it automatically.

I've always wondered why Brazilian Portuguese existed before Spanish. I think Portuguese may rank higher than Spanish for most spoken languages, but at that Chinese ranks the highest and so far there is no dedicated servers for that. So at the very least I expected it to have been there with Portuguese.
It has to do with demographics, I imagine. There are fewer RuneScape players in China, so even though more people speak the language, there's less demand. I think they did Portuguese before Spanish because more of the people who speak Spanish also speak English already...or something like that.

If you've completed the Combat Academy, you can now toggle the interface stone it occupies to a quick shortcut to the Quest Journal interface.
100x yes
Best part of the entire update.
Not for me--I've completed them both. :boohoo:

Same here, but I think it's worth having at least one parrot, assuming you're not maxed. 25k slayer xp >>> 39 spice, and any xp mission is better than a resource mission.
-
Failed my last story mission ever at 85%... -.- wtf Jagex
Yeah, why doesn't Jagex understand statistics? Everyone knows 85% means you can't fail.

Now that I have all the scrolls I need, I think it's time to replace my telescope with a parrot so I can start getting slayer and herblore xp instead of spices and bones.
-
So, another noob question from me, but why is it that Jagex can't animate an offhand whip exactly?
It has to do with the skeleton of the character. The right arm has more joints than the left arm, and the whip animation needs them.
-
There is effectively a price floor for tradable items though, since the untradable ones drop a fixed cash value when you die.
-
At 20m for Tetsu legs, that's 400k per plate, 2.4m for a successful mission with merchant. (Source: I insta-sold legs for 19.3m a little while ago.)
Seasinger and Death Lotus are worth less.

Cherry trees don't do enough. By the time you're building totems, you're already pretty far along, and it's unlikely it'll pay for itself. If you could get it earlier, maybe, but once you're heading into the Pincers you should start being more concerned with story and trade good missions.
I already don't do randoms at all anymore so I'mma say no. :ugeek:
