My long term goal as well is maxing combat along with slayer. Right now im about 700k from 99 magic so that may be a short term goal of mine. I'm going to read into summoning pretty deep and see how I feel about it. I think we both are on the same track but my problem is that I know that I will get sidetracked because of fight pits. I have an unholy addicition to that damn place. Beleive it or not but most of my melee and mage exp came from fight pits, not that I look back on it I spent alot of time there. The graphics look great from the SS i've seen. Once I get my paycheck im sending in the money to get it back. :P

Your stats are great, always nice to see over 2000 total along with all stats 70+. Bank on the other hand doesn't seem up to par with your stats. Either way, your doing fantastic and keep having fun.

Great job on the past two weeks. Those graphics are brilliant, now I know what my Green Party hat will look like once I get my membership payment in.

Please stop because you have no idea what you are talking about. First off it costs $15 a month. And you can make money yourself, its quite simple really. And if you tried it for a few days, you obviously know you can't hit 70 that fast. It takes months to reach endgame. Even if you are experienced and know the best ways to acquire lvls, its not very fast. And not all classes are the same, some can lvl up faster than others.

r u high of ur rock? dude, u have them upside down. WoW quests r gatherign and grind quests. RS quests actually have a storyline to follow. No, I am not. In Warcraft, they do have quests such as - Go kill X creatures Y amount of times. Or on Isle of Quel'Danas, to go pick the Bloodberry push along with freeing the Murlocs. If you didn't know those are endgame dailys that you can do once everyday once you hit endgame. Have you seen the list of items needed for RFD, or many other quests needed in RS? It's an insane amount. Don't get me wrong, im on the RS side of this, but there is a reason I don't have a quest cape - thats why.

One major difference between quests in Warcraft and Runescape is that RS quests in general are just gathering items and returning them. You can't really do a RS quest without having to gather a bunch of mandatory items first. RFD and Dragon Slayer are two examples.

I agree 100%. I don't want to turn this thread into an Item Lending debate but I think item lending is counterproductive. A new wave of beggars makes my stomache ache. On topic, I'm doing the same as you. Im keeping my party hats safe inside my bank untill they are very high in demand.

I've been gone from Runescape for about 6 months and i've tried to read up on the skill but I just don't quite understand it. In RS I enjoy to PVP such as fight pits and dueling but I also wanted to max my slayer. Im not sure how much money I have left but it might be over 200m if I sold my party hat. (Selling it isn't looking very promising) Taking all that information into account, what should I know about summoning?

That was one of the factors I considered while creating this thread, but I don't think it will have much effect. Of course, friends lending to friends. But after working your [wagon] off to buy a party hat, are you really going to let a random person share the high seat?

In my opinion I think rare items still have a chance to be considered, rare. At the moment its very difficult to sell a party hat. Either you leave it in the GE to gather dust for months or you accept reality and sell it for a depreciated value along with worthless junk items. Honestly, this cannot go on. With this new graphic update, I suspect alot more players will be joining runescape for the sole reason of better graphics. With that being said, I think alot of players will stop playing because they will realize one of runescape's terrible flawes, its a grind fest. People will get bored and leave. Now, the players that do stick around will get stronger, wiser, and would like an ego boost to prove themselves, hence - Party Hats. Now, with this new wave of players I think Party Hats will become wanted and valued. My second reason onto why Rare's still have a hope is quite simple, Jagex is doing things right and listening. I think that Jagex will realize that there is a problem with the way rare's are being traded and implement a solution to fix it. Im not sure what that solution may be. I still think there is a hope, what do you all think?
