You can also type in e.g. "strength xp" in the quest list search bar, and it will give you the quests that give strength xp.
  2. This is true but it was my second sentence that was more important, and I'll give it again:
  3. Yeah I did all that. Just now I went to ALR and killed lurkers/walkers. It took me maybe 5 minutes to get a large pouch lol.
  4. Well, they appear in the mage and combat guides as well, with identical information. It says that you can use them to train melee, range, and magic.
  5. I have been to ALR when I was a really low level. Now, I'm better suited for it. I just thought if I had the option to buy the pouches, it would be easier. But, I'm not opposed to slaying abyss creatures for it (combat xp).
  6. The reason I asked this is the first place was so that I didn't have to risk going there and finding out that I can't use them. Then I would have to exit the arena and get back to the mage arena bank area without being killed by revenants. But if really no one knows (and I suppose the only way of knowing is by trying it), then I'll just use regular spells. It's not gonna kill me.
  7. If it's only God Spells you can use, how am I supposed to fight the wizard before I learn them? Can't...use salamaders? Even if I am training magic with it? Do you know this from experience?
  8. I'm not sure how this works. All I get when I talk to him is: I have asked the head wizard in the guild about him. I have 25k. All I want to do is buy a large pouch off of him.
  9. Can you use salamanders in the mage arena?
  10. How many herbs does 1 herb seed yield? P.S. I don't farm, which might explain why I am asking this.
  11. Well, anyways, I bought a whip and it's great. So, thanks for the advice everyone. WHIP OWNS!
  12. Oops . I guess I just made an assumption. Sorry.
  13. I got from 50-70 range on Crandor Isle, killing moss giants. I don't know if that is the absolute best spot to train, but it works.
  14. No, 50% as usual. Ring of forging is a p2p item.
  15. Beasiary search: the first four listed. http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2mo ... levels=All Level Monster Name Race Members Quest Ratio 0 Random Event Zombie Undead No No 0 28 Hill Giant Giant No No 1.25 42 Moss Giant Giant No No 1.43 53 Ice Giant Giant No No 1.32
  16. Nice guide. I didn't realize you could have the coal and mith etc. un-noted. I thought you had to sell it to the store and then buy it, which would be losing if I can remember about 200 gp for coal and 800 gp per mith ore. I'll defiantly consider the furnace now.
  17. I have asked the about dragon scimmy vs. longsword here, and received great answers. I now ask: which is better to use, dragon scimmy or abyssal whip?
  18. You still have an x on the other side of the equation. This is basically what I got.
  19. I went through a lot of the algebra, recalling some old log rules. But, I keep hitting dead ends. Also, I think what s confusing people the most is that the word "formula" should be "function". He's asking for a function that: f(x) = xp remaining Where function f is how much xp remains for given xp (x). Here's what I have so far: ln(4y-x) - ln(300) = (x/7)(ln(2)) (I tested it by plugging in numbers from the original function, and it's correct) All I need to do is separate the x and y in the first logarithm....Any suggestions?
  20. OK. Thanks. I just wanted to be sure.
