  1. I just find it ironic that this guy who has a pro-IE, anti-Firefox avatar knows so much about Firefox.
  2. I don't see how defragmenting is gonna solve your problem, unless you have some lag issues. Neither do I. Btw- "when he has time". Just go to Start-->All Programs-->Accessories-->System Tools-->Disk Defragmenter
  3. It's mind. I know it's too late lol.
  4. I suppose with this new fair trading system this would be impossible to do. I guess the system has some advantages after all....
  5. I keep a calculator in front of me at all times when playing to calculate profits, costs, amount of items to gain x amount of xp, etc. I have progressed to becoming more of an xp person rather than an independent person. For example, now, to get my smithing levels up, instead of mining my own coal, and taking a bit of time, I mine pure essence and sell it, then buy the coal. I figure i can get more than 3 pure ess in the time it takes me to mine 2 coal. (2 x 194 gp) < (3 x 150 gp)
  6. Anti-aliasing is a method of smoothing out "rough" edges in the game. The reason that your pictures look more "clear" with it off is because the image is sharper. With the anti-aliasing on, the sharp edges with smooth together to form a rounded edge. The hair on my player, for example, is more [bleep]y when I have anti-aliasing off. When I have it on, the hair is smoother and less edges are distinguishable. 4x compared to 2x is just more smoothness. I suppose anti-aliasing is a personal preference. I choose to have it on (4x) because for me it makes the landscape look more natural, rather than a straight, boxlike, programmed look.
  7. I use super-heat item and high alchemy in a combo when I make steel platebodies. This method has gotten me through several levels in mage. The way I do it is that I mine and craft my materials myself. Buying all the raw materials to cast the super-heat spells would be very expensive, and i would say that 1-2 gp isn't an accurate price. You have (per cast of superheat item): [*:1b5p7396]4 coal: 4 x ~190gp= 760 gp [*:1b5p7396]1 mithril ore: 1 x ~180 gp= 180 gp [*:1b5p7396]1 nature rune: 1 x ~260 gp= 260 gp Total gp spent on one spell: 1200 Gp per xp: 1200 gp/53 xp= 22.6 gp per magic xp In other words, very expensive to do. But, if you were to obtain all of the listed items above by mining and runecrafting, the time you spend there would be much greater than the time you spend training your magic. I know this from experience. What is much easier, for a person of your level and level goal is the fire strikes. Easy to craft the runes, and doesn't cost u a single gp.
  8. Fire strike has gotten me through many levels. I definitely recommend it to a level 46.
