Yes,I sometimes dream about Bruce [bleep]inson...Him only, because I can't remember any of his other bandmate's names...I may be thinking of the cowbell Bruce [bleep]inson, though. Uhm, after scratching my head and the use of google I discovered you're talking about SNL. :? SNL is effin' amazing

Completly different they were at eachothers throats all the time. yet both of them claimed to be the father (sole father) of grunge still Nirvana's like 50 billion times better  . no exageration. especially Nevermind. I think you exaggerated greatly. Ten is a much better album than Nevermind. though, it is also the only Pearl Jam album I own. There are way better grunge bands out there though. Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, and Stone Temple Pilots are all MUCH better than either of the aforementioned bands, if only judging by their biggest releases (Siamese Dream, Superunknown, and Purple, respectively. So they have a slightly better album according to some people doenst mean they're better
-
Definitely. I actually purposely try to look for their live versions because I think they sound much better. :P Dude, whats with you?(I agree with you though, about the Maiden wins a billion times) but you say something in like all my posts its kinda creepy

Simple rules; say who you like better and why. Also--DON'T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT RAP, I've had enough of my topics go down to opinions about rap. Hopefully this one won't. Iron Maiden. They have a better musical quality in my taste.

See that? I don't care that you hate Nirvana. I do know what racist means. I do respact your opinion. Thank you for not shooting down my opinion unlike countless others do. I don't hate Nirvana at all, I just expected a discussion here about Grunge. The problem with people like you is that you only know Nirvana and you think you can just bash on rap like that. What happens? You meet someone who has slight knowledge of rap and suddenly you DO respect my opinion, why in the world did you make that spam topic about "RAP SUCKS" in the first place then? Very respectful. Just because I respect your opinion doesn't mean I can't speak freely about mine. This topic was supposed to be about the ups and downs of Nirvana and Pearl Jam. I know more grunge band than that (Dinosaur Jr., Hole, Sonic Youth, Alice in Chains, etc.) but it's not about them.

According to my high school it definitely is. Lets take NWA as an example. They used to sell their albums on streetcorners because they couldn't get mainstream, the lyrics were to explicit. (Didn't you like Sage francis? An underground rapper?) The most annoying thing that I hate about people whom hate "rap" these days is that they compare Rap to Strip-hop (Eg Low - Flo rida) Jeez, I have so many more underground rappers/rap groups, that our person whom likes Nirvana so much and thinks that they ARE NOT mainstream, probably doesn't know at all. Examples would be; Aztlan Nation, Boogie down productions, DJ kool, Eazy E, Hen-Gee & evil e, Lordz of Brooklyn, NWA, Sage francis, Strickly roots, Tuff crew, Yomo & Maulkie, Young lay, ... I could list many more but those are more subgenres from Rap. Oh, Zierro, this isn't to flame you or something. It's for the topic starter. He even got so far to make a spam topic called "RAP SUCKS" that does it, I wanted to kick his sorry little [wagon] and I hope he's in for a discussion. (probably not) 1.I never said that Nirvana wasn't mainstream, I just said that they didn't like being mainstream. 2.I can have my opinion about music. Opinions aren't wrong, only different. How can you kick someone for not liking rap???!!! *cough*racist*cough*

I understand all ur points and stuff but a measly 3k for all F2P ppl? Thats crap
-
It first started with everyone saying Pearl Jam =[. But now everyone's saying Nirvana =]. Whoever said that he liked only early Nirvana, there early stuff was by far better, but their later stuff is pretty decent as well.

No.. It's not. In any given environment/community (in this case, this forum), for your opinion to have any worth to anybody else, you have to show yourself worthy of respect, and worthy of being listened to. As of yet, all you've shown is that you ignorantly despise a specific genre of music, probably have no significant musical skill or prowess, have no skills in debating, and probably have no knowledge of debating "etiquette". None of that is worthy of respect. So as of yet, your opinion holds little to no weight on these forums, and it will remain that way until you stop being a little ignorant [bleep]. And don't reply with something like, "Oh, I don't care what you think, you're all RuneScape-playing nerds who could never get any girl. Enjoy your acne, losers!" No one gives a [cabbage]. Opinions are opinions if you say they're wrong, like you are now, you're saying you're better than me

OK I'm F2P getting P2P in a few days But I've been F2P for like 4 years these recent updates are the only ones we've had since then sure they remodeled the website a couple times but even if people dont play they get that no quests, no places, no skills, no additional bank space, nothing I agree, tho, that respect should be earned in most cases if you get to level 32 in a day (not cheating) that demands respect but if it takes you 3 years, not as much respect in my opinion

I've had 3 names while playing any game where you choose a name. First, I had Bubbah390 Then, (when I forgot his pass) I was creative and chose Yowipy. Then, (same reason) I moved on to Jadeist. Personally, I don't like numbers in the name anymore. It was cool at maybe 8 but 5 years later...

Dude, grunge. grunge was anti-mainstream. rap is mainstream. although, ironicly, grunge became mainstream.

Easy topic, choose who you like better; Nirvana or Pearl Jam. Nirvana

Is a keyboard not an instrument then? After all you're just pressing buttons and it shares a lot of similarities to a synthesizer. Dude, I play bass in a choir, its a form of music Also, a keyboard you actually play more than once, a synthisizer records beats and replays them So just singing in a choir is music, but rapping isn't? Also you're still crazy ignorant about how people go about creating music with a synthesizer. I mean, what, do you think they just press the beat button or something? Except that rap is a form of music. Your opinion doesn't mean [cabbage] for it because it's wrong, it fits the exact definition of music and you're ignorant to think else wise. And what if a choir is monotonous? Does music have to have a certain amount of ranges, or something, for it to be classified as music? Where do you draw the line at? The hypocrisy of your statements is astounding. So, what would be YOUR definition of the word music? My opinion is as good as anyones, including yours, you stupid [bleep]wad. rap takes no talent, just listen to lil wayne, all he does is mumble stupid lyrics about nothing.
-
I don't care what you listen to. I showed the meaning of music because (whats his name) stated that you can not create music without an instrument like a guitar. whoa whoa whoa i never said anything about a guitar i said rap is, in my opinion, not a form of music, its not melodic, its monotonous in fact, its the same thing just different words, and its just a beat, nothing more
