I think a lot of people are missing the point with social slayer. I don't think their intention is to make it so unfavourable tasks can be done quicker or anything like that. The update is simply to make it so you can definitely get the same slayer task as friends and therefore train in the same spot. I'm really looking forward to it because I like to hang out with my brother in game and we both enjoy slayer, this has often resulted in my tagging along on his slayer tasks and vice versa but thanks to this update that won't be an issue. Anyone only waiting for this update for extra rewards or more efficient exp is gonna be disappointed I expect. But those of us (like me) looking to use the update for social purposes should be pretty excited.

Yes it is, seriously, look it up, try it yourself. The scimitar is the same speed as the whip, which is the same speed as the dagger which is even the same speed as the short sword.

Dragon scimitar is the same speed as whip and scimitar. It all depends on experience rates, not personal choice simply enough. I think it has been stated many times that Dragon Scimitar has a higher rate of experience gaining than the Dragon Longsword, that is basically the end of the thread. I quite like the Dragon Scimitar's special attack, I think it looks cool and it earned me a glory amulet in an iron war once. Some level 126 was protecting from melee while getting piled and I Severed her and she got decimated in the 5 second period.

Just keep slaying and slaying and slaying. It never gets boring, I'm level 90 now.

How do I make it hold scrolls? I've tried using scrolls on it but nothing happens?

Whats the best way to go about doing a cave crawler task? Do the large ones have good enough drops to be worth the extra effort?

Lots of people make steel plate bodies for very fast smithing exp, I think its one of the fastest efficient methods in the game (obviously mith/addy/rune plates would be faster but that is seriously expensive) so there are a lot lying about and alcing is the best way to get rid of them.

Whats better for ranging, full void or full Armadyl?

Saradomin Sword isn't even better than a whip, how is it the next best thing to a godsword?

Does it give any exp?

How are they fletched?
