  1. Isn't there a hint in the word GOD sword? There shouldn't be a better weapon. Maybe some of the best weapons should be given higher requirements though? I Read a post that said "If they made them really hard to obtain...". Let me refer to the godsword for a second... The Only 2 ways to get a godsword are: Collect all the pieces from some of the toughest monsters in runescape (Even then, the chances of one are EXTREMELY Rare). Buy one for an obscene amount of money. Isn't that hard enough to obtain as is it? Then again, looking on the other side, it only needs 75 attack, And you can just borrow one anyway. If they made any better weapons, It should go along with a 138 combat cape, instead of a hood.
  2. You'd be able to comment more if you did ;) 1-0 to People thinking its too serious.
  3. I feel like comparing the upsides and downsides of real world trading on the Runescape community... So i shall  Downsides: 1) People buying coins makes items more expensive. This is because they are buying coins for items, which makes the demand for that item go up, Therefore, so does its cost. 2) Your items don't seem so rare now that everyone just bought them on cheapgp.com (Not a real site btw ;) ) 3) Jagex has to sacrifice other things so it doesnt happen. Upsides: 1) Items are EASY TO GET! Hurray! 2) Makes the game ALOT easier. 3) Number one in the downsides doesnt matter if you can buy coins anyway. Maybe the best option... Is to just let RWT Happen? I think jagex isnt too worried about others having an advantage...But (In my opinion) They don't want money going to other sites for their items. Maybe, Jagex could sell items and coins themselves? Your thoughts, please.
  4. I'm not sure if anyone has said this, But some people go for 99's just to achieve something. Some people aren't that good at sport, and maybe never have won an Academic certificate or trophy. If you ask anyone how they felt when they got the 99, most would say They felt amazing, because they achieved something. I Also heard a one off case from my friend that he got 99 with his friend, just because his friend wanted to quit, unless he got a 99 with someone else. Some people are easily bored, too. I Don't know how you can sit there doing the same thing over and over and call it a relief from boredom though.
  5. You could search any forum on any fansite about runescape, And 9 times out of 10, you'd find a post about How people are still angry that Player Killing in the wildy has gone (Even though its technically still there, In the form of Bounty Hunter). If you were to search a little harder in the Rants section, There'd be threads about how the Prices of everything is falling, How Jagex has apparently ruined the game. Players complaining about how the minigames work, How some items are near impossible to get (And in some cases, when you have them, They're useless). But has anyone just stopped what they were doing, whether it be training for a skillcape or messaging a friend about how Jagex has ruined the game, and said... "Why am i being so serious?" If you think about it, It's really not that bad. Jagex may have removed Pvp in the wildy (I Am aware its coming back), but is that the most important thing that's happening in a player life? Runescape is just a game after all! I Beg anyone who's going for a 99/ Rare to stop and say...Why am i getting so serious about a few brightly coloured pixels on my screen? People posting things on this very forum suggests that maybe Players are getting far too serious. I Think we all need to calm down a little, and just accept the things that happen in-game. So, Let's turn it to you, The Tip.it forum Public. Do you think its getting far too serious to be fun anymore? Are you one of those players that posts these sort of things, Getting angry about Pvp? Or maybe you'd just like to comment. I'd like to hear what people have to say about this matter. I for one am going to go have some fun, And not worry about Not being able to do some things anymore. Life is for living, And your runescape life is for Fun! Not to get angry over.
