  1. It depends on the task. In a situation in which it saves you an entire trip, hell yes it's worth 10k.
  2. Alight then. Go buy a Bob the Cat godsword.
  3. Hmm, but aren't they 150? 88, but if he's ranging, that might work. Task: 117 Moss Giants Gold charms: 41 Green charms: 2 Crimson charms: 3 Blue charms: 1 Much lower rate than ice giants.
  4. Alright, I never even considered slayer. Thanks.
  5. Ice giants on Wolf Mountain are multicombat, too. Doing a task for 117 ice giants now, though, but after 50ish, I'm sure ice giants have a better drop rate.
  6. Summoning in general. It may be kind of hard to compare, but with summoning, it's mostly down to collecting the charms, AFAIK. You can always just buy bones.
  7. Thank you, now I'm worried I'll end up alching something nice. -Starts looting fire runes-
  8. Just a question. When you get lamps, and other things that can boost EXP in your chosen skill(IE: penguin hunting), which is better? Just burying dragon bones, I hear that prayer EXP costs about 25 gp/exp. What's the approximate cost for Summoning EXP, and is the time saved from hunting charms worth more than the prayer EXP would be?
  9. What should money be spent on for combat, then?
  10. Are flesh crawlers good exp? I know they have a few good herb drops. I was at them from 35 - 60 attack and 55 strength in F2P. ^^ Great EXP, fast spawn, auto attack, and they do almost no damage.
  11. @Above: Lowest guy is in Burthorpe. I've only ever used the one in Edge, though. 75 cb now. @OP: Just get some decent gear and go to Flesh Crawlers or Giant Spiders in the SoS, and semi AFK there. Ignore loot, except Ranaar
  12. Task: 80 Basilisks Gold charms: 5 Crimson charms: 4 Green charms: 14 Blue charms: 1 I don't like killing them, as they seem to be strong to stab.
  13. Doing a basilisk task now, I'll post how many charms after I finish. Only 80 kills.
  14. Right, but gathering junk yourself is a lot faster than earning money with other methods. Trading sticks and granite net 1m+ junk/hour.
  15. Task: Ice Giants Kill count: 76 Gold charms: 37 Crimson charms: 5 Green charms: 2 Blue charms: 0
  16. Hehe, I lent mine out three times in the two days or so that I had it. Nobody offered to pay, though. =p It DOES look awesome, just doesn't do enough damage. ;;
  17. Actually, that is not how you do it. To get it working, do this: [*:srtzwkp0]Press the Shift Key five times, so the "StickyKeys" window pops up [*:srtzwkp0]Click on settings in the "StickKeys" window. [*:srtzwkp0]Click on the "Mouse" tab [*:srtzwkp0]Click on "UseMouseKeys" [*:srtzwkp0]Press 5 on the numeric pad (With Num Lock on) ...That's an alternate way to use it, yes. But alt-shift-numlock is the tab for MouseKeys itself. And pressing + double clicks, 0 holds it down.
  18. I just got this "obby combo", and I'm only hitting one less than I was with a D2H, 60 attack and strength. Yes it's good. o_o
  19. Simple question. Ranging is my lowest combat skill(10....), and I'd like to get it to a decent level. Iron knives till 30, then should I use a swamp lizard?
  20. Mouse keys, I think you're talking about. It's built into windows, so it's not a third party program. It lets you use your numpad as a mouse. Pretty sure the shortcut is ctrl+shift+numlock.
  21. Very basic methods? Spinning flax into bowstrings Mining pure essence Buying mass vials of water from general stores Killing green spiders for corpses Killing chaos druids for herbs Killing green dragons, banking hides and bones
  22. ..You can hope? xD I always just put max when I buy mine. Cheaper than swordies no matter what way you put it. @OP: Monks sell pretty well. They cost barely more than lobs, give more EXP than sharks, and heal more than swordies. More xp when you fish. Cooking wise, the xp is pretty big. If you can make over 100-150k/hour (forgot the exact math), which anybody can, you should be cooking sharks. Alright. Go with what Kent said - he seems well informed, and has obviously done the math, while I'm just somebody who got back to RS after three years of being off.
  23. Stop burning at 92, gaunts don't seem to affect them.
  24. I have a whip - just not 70 attack.
