Just got an Obby Shield drop. was quite excited but my excitement soon died whe i realised they are only worth 140k now. They used to be 250k - 300k not to long ago. What happned? New Question: Do TzHaars drop Uncut Onyx stones?

Those 50's were the whole reason I was testing it ;) I'll admit BGS was a more fun weapon to use, but the difference was too great considering I was only there for the exp. Once I start training strength again I will be using it as the difference between the d scimmy and BGS is going to be very close. Ill be frank with you, I find a D scimi appauling. I used it yesterday at Tzhaar and was greated with hits of 5's, 7's, 10's if im lucky.

Imagine a world were there was no trading, no general stores. The only way of getting it is by doing it yourself. Questing for items, killing for items, skilling for items. The only way of getting weapons and armour is by Smithing them yourself. The only way of getting food and potions is by fishing, cooking and brewing them yourself. How would this have affected the modern day RuneScape community? How would this have affected the way we play? Our skill levels? Discuss.

In all honesty, BGS = High Hits. High Hits = Fun. I trained most of my high 90's of Defendse with my BGS. Call me a noob, i really don't care, but i LOVE seeing those 50's. It may not be the most effecient way of training, but it sure is much more fun that falling in the rat race and usning Whip + Def just beacuase all the rest do. In the end of the day its about personal choice. Would you wna to reach 99Def 2 hours faster using a Whip + Def, or would you get it 2 hours slower but have much more fun?

I know a thing or two about F o G. Hiding on a spot where you only get 3 charges at a time is a horrible idea. I find it best to hide somewere you get 6 or 9 charges near a house. Soon as your target is in sight run into a house, out the other house and to the oppisite side of were you started. Doing this i was easily able to defeat all and any of my targets (even at a combat level of only 86, and that includes beating level 138's [fung108 and grandwatcher being two of them]). Once you have used up all of your bandages run to the centre, use the needed protective spell and stand there till you die. I usually got a minimum of 2k charges doing this. Just a handy little tip.

Cannon is only worth it with certain tasks such as Abby Specs, Banshees, Black Demons and a select few others. You should make profit on Banshees and Abby Specs but Black Demon will make a loss without Rune drops. It all depends on the kind of tasks you get tbh, but i would estimate 500 - 550 tasks in a row.

Okay well the poster above has very bad info and spelling. I would not suggest training with a BGS if youre looking for fast exp. Although its only about 5 - 8k slower than a whip (in my experience) whip is a better option for speed. Bgs should only be used for "fun training". Like i intend on getting 99atk using my BGS mainly, but thats just because i was looking for a fun way of getting it.

BTW, anyone with some more opinions would help. Anything i should rather spend 33mil on. I might have more tbh, i migh end up with 40mil depending on how llucky i get on my way to 99atk. After that im off to 99Ranged, so maybe a decent ranged outfit?

yeah i have a Rune Def. I always use it. The thing is, it will take some huge convincing to make me sell the BGS. I love doing Bandos in teams and the BGS really helps get me decent teams. The DFS will not only give me decent defense with void, but it will be a great piece of weaponry for Dragon Slaying (which i also do often). In that case... Sell BGS Buy DFS Buy Guthan set As for Bandos. Tell all of your team to use Abyssal whip w/Rune defender as PRIMARY weapon, but also use a Warrior ring which gives +4 slash attack and defence bonus. Try that out at Bandos, and see how well that works. It definetly beats Godswords. Okay that will leave me with about 11mil cash (if i decide to do this), what armour should i buy then?

99Def, and umm you need ME2 for shield right? I dont Quest, so i havent done it yet, thats why i said DFS.

Well after getting hacked and loosing just about...325mil i went out on a hells mission to remake some of that money. So ive managed to work myself back up to about 27mil in just over a week and a half. So i have all the basics now. Whip, Fury, Pots, Food, BGS, Void Melee + Ranged + Mage ( I figure this to be more than good enough for where i train) Warrior ring and D Boots. I also have about 5mil in drops from the last 3 days aswell as 2mil cash. My current goal is to save up for a DFS for some extra defense when getting 99Ranged at aviansies (I will be using void). Here's what i'm stuck on. If i sell the BGS and never buy the DFS i will have about 33mil cash. Are there better ways to spend it? I dont want to spend it on any skills at the monent, ill wait for the money i get from avianies (45mil more or less). So, any advice?

Well if you dont plan on tanking you can wear just about anything. TBH i like wearing void + bgs/ags but even rune works if youve got the defence level to back it up. But yeah, your setud seems pretty decent. Might want to change bracers to barrows gloves though.

There is a rather decent melee guide in my Sig. You could range them but i can assure you it wont be anything as good as Melee. Use knives instead of a Cbow, Maybe torags legs, Dhide body and archerhelm/robin hood along with Snakeskin/ranger boots. There are decent drops. Death and Bloods drop often and battlestaves drop regularly too.

Well, a 1000k a day isn't easy without luck or time. There are however various ways of doing this. I would suggest 4 main ways of going about this: Ankou - The slowest of the lot. Decent exp, decent money. You could make a 1000k if you pley 7 or more hours a day. Tzhaar - Potential to be the fastest. Decent exp and high end drops. With some luck you could make 1000k in an hour, with no luck you can make 30k an hour. Green Dragons - The all over considdered best money maker. atleast 4k per drop. With stats like yours 300k per hour is on the crads, this does get boring within the first hour though. Aviansies - One of the best money makers in the game. With your stats you could make 300k an hour. I find these to be fun to kill. I could go atleast 4k kills without having the thought of boredom. All of these options will take some time though. atleast 4 hours a day.

Thanx to a junk trade gone wrong i have 100k fire runes in my bank :lol: I guess i just found a good use for them.
