You don't really know what you are talking about. So you're going to go around calling everyone with high Melee levels and low Slayer level a noob? Well ever hear the saying : To each his Own? Some people like training against different monsters because they get bored doing the same thing over and over and over again. Some people, those with a matture attention span, don't mind grinding away at the same old monster for hours on end. Now, you would call me the dumb one for having a low slayer level and potentially loosing out on millions? Well lets see, i can do Green Dragons till i turn blue, make 120mil+ maxing out my melee skills then max out my ranged at aviansies making another 100mil and then max out my mage at aviansies making yet another 15mil OR i could grind away at slayer, max out my skills and have 100mil odd to show for it. Thats 235mil agains 100mil. Only difference is going to be a few total levels (which i could easily catch up on by spending some money). Hmmm....now that is stupid, isnt it :wall:
-
You... Get... Free... Total.. Levels... I can't really argue there, I guess. Well, look at it this way Comp. Spend 10 hours on Slayer at 50k exp an hour for a Melee skill (totals at 500k exp) and about 15k Slayer exp (totals at 150k exp). Spend 10 hours at Armoured Zombie at 100k exp an hour (totals at 1mil exp). At higher levels 500k exp isnt even going to get you a level and even 150k exp might not get you a Slayer level. 1mil Melee exp on the other hand will get you atleast 1 level for certain (unless you are on 98 in which case it will put you 120k away from 99). Anyway, so for 10 hours of Slayer you have nothing to show but a measly 620k in total exp and maybe 500k cash were as with the Armoured Zombies you will have atleast 1 level and 1.5mil cash to show. 1.5mil Cash can now be used for some of your lower buyable skills. This could get you upto 5 more levels. Even if you spend the 500k gained from slayer on a buyable skill you still wont reach anywere near the total levels gained while doing Armoured Zombies. its 11 total levels with armoured zombies again 5 at most with slayer. Therefore i must conclude that slayer is not only a waste of time, but it is a waste of money. I hope i made my point clear enough.

Okay so i know there has been alot of discussion about this, but after something happned last night i had a weird though. So my friend and i went on a Bandos Duo. He lagged out, died and lost just over 15mil. He decided to not let it get him down, he went back and did a few Solo trips on his own. In the 4 trips he did (about 8 kills) he got 2 Hilts and a Chestplate. What are the chances right? So that got me thinking. I know everyone says that a Hilts droprate is about 1/350, or something like that. So here is my theory: There are 35 different teams on 35 different world killing Graardor at the same time. Each team get a certain ammount of kills. Lets say the Hilts drops on every 350 kills. That mean that whichever team gets the 350th kill would get the Hilt. Sounds unlikely? Well how else can ypu explain getting 2 Hilts and a Chestplate in only 8 kills? Here is a more detailed explanation of what i mean: Every team gets 10 kills. Graardor is killed 10 seconds after the previous team killed their Graardor. That means that every 10 seconds a Graardor is killed. That would mean that the 350th kill would fall on team 35 meaning they would get the Hilt. If team 6 (for example) is the stronger team out of the 35 teams and they manage to get a few more kills than the rest and they are able to snatch the 350th kill, that would mean they get the Hilt. Is the point im making clear? Anyone have any thoughts on this?

You dont really need alot of food at Ankou, and its kind of annoying having to drop your food once you get an item worth keeping. Place Keepers are there to avoid having to drop food.

Awesome YOU ROCK! \

325 tokkul per ring (with gloves) x 10 = 3250 tokkul that you need. With Kets and Xils you can get about 1 - 100 tokkul per kill, i think its usually a tad less than xils though. So just say you get 30 tokkul per kills, it only a little over 100 kills. Lol i meant to say 10k Rings. So that would be around 100k kills?

A friend of mine is doing Aviansies with me. He is trying to get 99 Ranged while i get 90 Mage. We are both getting a bit bored of Aviansies so we thought we would go to Tzhaar for a while. We will both be Ranging. He has 90 Ranged and i almost have 94. What would be decent Setups and Inventories for Tzhaar? What is the Exp and Money rate per hour? Could i use my Void there? EDIT: Would it be a wise idea to turn on LS? Is it even possible? The only reason i am doing Tzhaar with him is to get enough Tokkul for 10k Obby Rings. Any idea how long that will take me? Thanks in advance!

The exp rate is going to remain the same its just the cost/equipment that changes. that wont be hard to estimate. and besides that, the guide is already 80% complete.

Yeah i was thinking of adding a Void Section. I will do that as soon as i get a Void Mage Hood. And also i need to get an enchanted Excalibur myself before i can add that to the guide. I can't really make up figures and say its good without having tested it myself. Thanx for mentioning the void part though. -
Hey i'm trying to complete my Aviansie Maging guide. I decided to add a few sections and i was wondering if anyone could help me get some screen shots. I need screenshots of a character wearing the following: God Mitre, stole, cloak and book. Monk Robe top and bottom. Infinity boots explorer's ring Any staff Barrows/Chaos gauntlets Then need another one wearing: Ahrims top and bottom Torag Helm infinity boots any Staff Fury/Glory Barrows Gloves/Chaos Gauntlets Seer's/ explorers ring zammy/Mage's book. If this is in the wrong forum please have it moved :) Thanks!

Why would you buy Larupia Pouches? If you meant Kyatt pouches then you will need only 1. They last for 44 Minutes i think and you should be able to get a run in 44 seconds more or less. That would give you about 82 runs an hour or 1944 charms per hour. 1 Kyatt pouch should be just fine.

Yeah +1 more. Dagon'Hai is actually better. just did the Hunt For Surok miniquest and bought a Set. Its much cheaper that Infinity and slightly better Mage Bonus and Prayer Bonus. With the setup i'm using ATM i only have a +9 Prayer bonus and i'm making alot of profit. I actually put some facts behind my statistics before i post them. Maybe try doing the same next time? I think Moocky did do his homework, i think you owe someone an apology :shame: I was talking about him saying i would lose money with that setup. I would infact not loose anymoney but i would make money. I owe no one an apology. You gain LESS money than if you had used Dagon'hai robes. You owe everyone an apology for lying by saying you have the statistics. I am not LOSING ANY MONEY. Are you blind or just mentally slow? How can i lose more money with my current setup if i am not loosing anything to begin with? I might not make as much profit, but i am still not LOSING anything. :wall:

The spot i use has a few Pyrefiends and Icefiends, they are barely a threat. Since i use Prayer i won't need an Arma item anyway. You can still take alot of damage entering or if you accidentally wonder. The only ones who can do any form of serious damage are the Sara Mages. Switch on Mage Pro till out of reach then switch on Ranged Pro. But dear god can we keep this on topic. Just answer my question and if you can't then just stop with the naysaying... its so annoying.

This doesnt really answer my question  Since some poeple think tanking them is a good idea i might add a section to my guide.

Did you think about the repair costs? And if you look at my guide you might notice that my method makes praying free........ :wall:
