Hmm, i might try Dusties later on, if they arent kind ill move on to Black Demons. I havent got a Spirit Shield because i am yet to complete the required quests, should i just use an Unholy Book then?
-
Okay so ive decided to do Armoured Zombies for now. I'm using Void, Accumulator, Archer Ring, F,ury, Snakeskin Boots Dragon Sq and Steel Knives. Using Ranging Potions and 10% Ranged Prayer i get about 48k exp an hour along with about 125k money an hour. I need to kill about 15.2k Armoured Zombies to get 99 Ranged. Any idea how many i can kill an hour? Is my setup okay or is there any way i can improve it?

Well to do this you need either alot of money or you need a very high Def level. You have to wear armour that gives a decent Ranged Def Bonus or your Def level needs to be high enough to not get hit that often. Don't wear Barrows Armour and having a DFS would help a great deal with your Def. But to give you any further help we need to know your Levels and how much money you have. EDIT: Okay so your Defense level isn't that high but its okay. I will give you two setups, one chea and the other expencive. Armadyl Helm > Granite Helm Armadyl Chestplate > Zamorak Blessed D'hide Armadyl Skirt/Legs > Dragon Legs Ranged Boots > Snakeskin Boots DFS/unholy Book > Granite Shield Barrows Gloves Archers Ring Amulet of Fury > Amulet of Glory Accumulator Rune Crossbow 15k Broad Bolts 300 Bones to Peaches Tabs Staff of Fire 200 Nature Runes The more expencive option has +201 Ranged Defense Bonus and +186 Ranged Attack Bonues, the cheaper option has +240 Ranged Defense Bonus but only +121 Ranged attack Bonus. Still i would go with the second option as its cheaper and its going to make you last much longer.

How is a typical high lvl supposed to be like?
gorgoroth replied to llVIU's topic in General Discussion
High level players aren't supposed to like anything. Nothing should be expected od them. They are exactly the same as all the other players many levels lower than them, only difference is that their levels are much higher. People expect high levels to know everything (or more than the levels lower than them), they expect high levels to be rich, they expect them to not act like children. Remember that your level is not determined by your age or matturaty, but only by the time you have put into playing Runescape. alot of high level player like myself don't know alot, or even anything at all. They have always stuck to the simple ways of doing things. I got 99 Strength at Ankou (very nooby in some people's opionions) because i did not know of any better way to get it at that time. Just because we are higher levels shoud not mean that knowledge and matturaty should be expected of us. -
Fletching, firemaking and cooking - Skillcapes of dirt?
gorgoroth replied to RuneAge's topic in General Discussion
No 99 is easy to get. Everything needs some degree of concentration. Sure some 99's are much easier than others but if Cooking, Firemaking and Fletching were THAT easy wouldn't everyone have them as 99's? Last time i checked there were still a few hundred thousand people who don't have them, so that just proves my point. -
You can make a profit on Smithing, Crafting and Herblore. The exp is just going to be very slow, but you can still make a decent profit out of them. With Smithing you can super heat Mithril Bars, with Crafting you can make Emerald Rings and with Herblore you can clean herbs.

Hmm Armoured Zombies sounds decent then. Any idea on the Setup i should use? And you mentioned Dusties and Black Demons, how good are they?
-
This is a waste of money. Swordies are much slowere yes, but they dont make you lose half your money pile.
-
Who said i was going to Pray them? I know of two safespots and i can use Enchanted Excalibur. Did i mention i have 94 Def.
-
Yeah i was looking for something to Knife with Void anyway.
-
300k aint bad at all. Any idea on the exp per hour though? Better or worse than Aviansies?
-
Okay well i know Aviansies are the best Ranging Moneymakers in the game but i have come to a point were i am really rather SICK of them. I've been doing them since 85 Ranged and now i'm about to level up to 94 Ranged. So i'm looking for something else to do. Something that can fetch me a decent ammount of exp and money. I know i wont get anything nearly as good as Aviansies, so what will be second best? I was thinking maybe one of the following: Mighty Banshees Green Dragons Black Dragons Tzhaar Fire Giants Armoured Zombies Which of those options would be the better option? Is there anything better than those? Any help at all please? EDIT: I forgot to mention, I'm looking for something thats either near a bank or that has stackable drops. I dont want to have to do bank trips ever 15 minutes unless the bank is like really close.

I'll get right to updatign that. Thanx -
You need to cook a total of 30450 Swordfish from 95 - 99. At current price 30450 Swordies will cost about 13mil. You can sell those Swordies back for about 12mil so that leaves you with about 1mill loss
-
Dont do Sharks. Its just a waste of money IMO. If i were you i would do Swordfish from 95 - 99. Thats what i did and i got about 160k exp an hour doing it.

Being a high levels sucks balls. Not only are you constantly called a noob, but you are also called a no lifer ets. etc. Some days i would rather be a lvl 50 again.
-
Depends which Skill you are training to be honest, but i would stick to PC.
-
Okay this will help me alot. Any idea how many points a Potion restors at 50 Prayer?
-
Yeah, i haden't really tought of that. Well i will leave this thread open for incase someone can come up with a near accurate estimate
-
I'm trying to complete my Aviansies guide but it seems i have come to a bit of a problem. I am trying to figure out the avarage cost of Prayer Potions per hour but i don't really know how. Can anyone help me? What i need is the following: With 50 Prayer, how many Prayer Potions will i need to have the Protect from Ranged prayer on for a full hour?
-
Chaos Tunnels ould be the best place :) Wouldn't the green drags be a problem? You can easily avoid the Greens, just make sure you have an Antt-Dragonfire Shield and 2 or 3 Anti Fire Potions for incase.

Only kill the Large ones if you have access to the Evil Chickens Lair. If not, then just kil the Babies because all the other spots are always crowded.
