    I'm not sure how long it's been (probably about 2 years) since I decided to quit runescape after my main was hacked. About a week ago I started playing on my old account that I made in 2007, which I had spent less than a week on when I created it. I've decided to start playing again on my old account and I will be F2P for the forseeable future.

     

    I've been playing for about a week now and I'm having a lot of fun. Good to be back :)

    Just finished the knights sword quest with a combat level of 19. I thought I could ace the Ice warrior part, but I nearly died. I was on 12 HP when I found a safespot, and I had to wait a few minutes for the Ice warrior to lose aggro so I could mine the blurite ad get out of there (I ended up home teleing beause I would've never made it out alive :P).

     

    I heard about this new item called trout that came out with a week ago, it's pretty cool, it stops you from dieing :rolleyes:

     

    Yeah I forgot it just came out, I missed the update. It would've really helped :lol:.

    Pretty eventful first week back in the world of Runescape, I reckon. Currently I'm trying to get all my stats around level 10, then 20, 30, and so forth. I'm hoping I can aim for a reasonable goal of all skills 70+ once I get a bit more motivated to do some serious training.

    I just started up runescape again after my old account was hacked a few months ago. Despite the fact that I've gotten two 99's on that account (and a lot of fond memories), I'm rolling pure F2P with my new account. Hopefully I will have some progress to post in a few months time :).

    Sorry to hear that your old account got hacked though. :( No worries, have a good time and hope you enjoy starting fresh again! Go for a 99 in f2p as well!

     

    Yeah that did deal a pretty hefty blow. Still, I'm having a lot of fun starting over. This time around I think I will focus more on combat, but plans for a 99 will eventually happen. I can't get enough of grinding :P.

    EDIT: Seems my question was answered a few pages in.

     

    This game looks like a LOT of fun. I don't really mind if we don't have as much modding capability on the PC as we used to have, I never played mods anyway. If I want mods, I'll just go play CS:S. I prefer to play Call of Duty the way it was meant to be played. The [cabbage] IW did to mw2 on PC was absolute rubbish though. I'm glad treyarch have their heads in the right spot while developing this game.

     

    After reading a few articles on PC multiplayer (in particular dedicated servers) it seems that we will be having pre-made dedicated servers, as well as the ability to rent out a server for things such as clan battles. Mods will be restricted however. If that means no new promod, I will be cool with it as long as we can restrict the weapons used on the servers. Restricting perks would also be another good step to take, in case some of them prove to be unbalanced.

     

    On the single-player, the campaign looks quite cool. I'm not buying the game for its single-player campaign, but I will definitely give it a go. Co-Op looks great as well. I like the initiative they are taking with the whole "try out multiplayer without the multiplayer" to test out maps and the like.

     

    I heard they canned zombies though? I'm not sure if this is true, I hope not because zombies was so much fun.

    Been playing a lot of hardcore SnD lately, I don't think I'll play much else. Barely any tubes, no problem with overpowered guns (everything is about a one to two hit kill direct, behind cover it depends though). Sub machine Guns rule this gametype though, high fire rate and a decent amount of damage ensure a kill within 3 hits maximum.

    Haha, a few post above reminded me on the suffering, I used to ahve that but it didn't work on vista but turns out there was a patch... so I'm re-downloading it now and gonna try and play it on Windows 7, it should work with the patch I reckon but I'll have to see :P.

     

    At the moment, I am playing crash bandicoot and Ocarina of Time back-to-back on emulators (don't have the originals :(). Zelda can get really friggin hard at points, but it is a lot of fun, and crash helps me wind down when I'm stuck in a dungeon on Zelda to wind down and think it through a bit more clearly.

     

    Just finished Abe's Exoddus as well (best game ever) and saved all 300 mudokons! That's around the 12'th time I've done that now lol.
